He listened to the response from Tinubu, and the grin on his face began to widen."I expected you to refuse."

He said ecstatically, like someone who had just hit a jackpot.

The white giant scanned the area as he spoke, his voice carrying a taunting edge.

The grin on his face widened even further.

Tinubu felt as though he was watching a devil in action.

But he remained where he stood, refusing to retreat.

He accepted death, an honorable one.

The white giant continued taunting as he slowly approached Tinubu.

The Leon Brothers watched the scene with fascinated expressions, unable to hide their anticipation as they waited to witness the prowess of their superior.

As the white giant closed in, now halfway toward Tinubu and still mocking...

"How can you be gigantic and stupidly talkative at the same time?"

A loud voice rang out of nowhere.

Tinubu’s eyes widened instantly.

"Who said that?"

He demanded in a sharp tone, killing intent radiating fiercely from his eyes.

At that moment, a massive flying creature burst out of the fog from behind Tinubu.

Sitting atop its back was Marlon, wearing a relaxed and unbothered smile.

"Lunaris Beater!"

Tinubu spotted him and shouted the name loudly, relief washing over his face.

Marlon looked down at him and gave a brief nod before turning his attention back to the white giant.

Once the flying creature was close enough, Marlon leapt down from its back and landed a few meters away from the giant.

The Leon Brothers opposite him observed closely, and most of them quickly recognized who he was.

They began to whisper among themselves, wondering how the golden child had ended up in a place like this. They also questioned what kind of connection he had with Tinubu.

Marlon, on the other hand, calmly observed the features of the white king, who was glaring daggers at him.

The moment the word left Marlon’s lips, the air around them subtly shifted.

It was not something visible, nor something that could be touched, yet everyone present felt it all the same.

An invisible weight descended upon the street, pressing down on every living being within the vicinity.

The Leon Brothers, who had been laughing just moments ago, suddenly felt their chests tighten for reasons they could not explain.

The white giant frowned.

"You clearly do not know who you’re speaking to, you little sack of flesh—"

Marlon did not respond immediately.

And everything changed instantly.

The white giant’s face went pale, as though all the blood had drained from it, and his eyes widened in disbelief.

Subconsciously, he staggered back several steps in fright.

He missed his footing and fell to the ground, landing heavily on his backside.

Some collapsed where they stood, others cowered backward in terror, and a few turned on their comrades and fled without a second thought.

The entire occurrence happened so abruptly that it left everyone stunned.

The Black Brothers hiding nearby were completely puzzled, Tinubu included.

They could not understand what had caused the Leon Brothers to react in such a horrifying manner.

At that moment, the flying creatures carrying the rest of the hunters arrived at the scene.

They witnessed the aftermath, and just like the others, they were left speechless.

Marlon allowed the effects of the skill to persist, savoring the terror etched across his opponent’s face until he was satisfied.

And then he decided to end it all.

And just as he was about to launch an attack..

"He is mine!"

A voice echoed across the area.

A masculine voice, but young, very young.

All heads turned toward the owner of the voice.
