Zhu Zhuqing's hidden secrets: No one can hurt me.

At the edge of the star sea where consciousness linked, a thick black light flowed quietly. Zhu Zhuqing's consciousness was hidden within, like a dormant shadow cat, silent and gentle.

Her memories began in a boundless darkness. Her Spirit was the Hell Civet, born as a companion to the dark, yet she happened to fear the dark the most.

When she was young, the elders of her clan always forced her to cultivate in a dark secret room so she could inherit the legacy of the Hell Civet. There wasn't a single ray of light in the secret room, only cold stone walls and endless silence. She curled up in a corner, listening to her own heartbeat, feeling the darkness swallow her bit by bit; that feeling of suffocation was something she remembered vividly to this day.

She had cried and thrown tantrums, but all she got in return were the cold rebukes of her elders. "Zhu Zhuqing, you are the successor of the Hell Civet Spirit. You must adapt to the darkness and control it." Those words were like cold needles piercing her heart, causing her to gradually become taciturn and accustomed to disguising herself with indifference.

Until she joined the Nishen Legion and met Su Chen and The women.

It was a sunny afternoon when Su Chen took her to the training base of the Youth God-Defying Squad. A group of children were laughing and playing on the training field, their faces brimming with brilliant smiles. That pure happiness was something Zhu Zhuqing had never experienced before. A little boy named Lin Hao took her hand and said with a smile, "Sister Zhuqing, don't be afraid. There are stars in the darkness too, just like Brother Su Chen and us; we will all stay with you."

At that moment, it felt as if something had gently bumped against Zhu Zhuqing's heart. She looked up at the dazzling sun in the sky and felt for the first time that light was actually so warm.

What truly made her open her heart was that night in the cave.

That day, to protect the children of the Youth God-Defying Squad, she was heavily injured by assassins from the Star Luo Empire. The wound on her back was deep enough to see bone, and her divine soul had suffered severe tearing. Su Chen held her and hid in a remote cave. Beside the campfire, Su Chen used his God-Defying Soul Power to heal her, his eyes filled with worry.

"Why work so hard?" Su Chen's voice carried a hint of heartache. "We are here to protect those children; you don't have to risk your life."

Zhu Zhuqing looked at the concern in his eyes, a warm current welling up in her heart. She was silent for a long time before saying softly, "Because they are our family. Family should protect each other." She paused and added, "You are the first person to risk your life for me; I don't want to disappoint you."

Su Chen was stunned for a moment, then he hugged her tightly. The warmth from his palm traveled through her skin, warming her cold heart. "Silly girl," Su Chen's voice was gentle and firm, "I would never be disappointed in you. From now on, I will always protect you and won't let you get hurt so badly again."

At that moment, Zhu Zhuqing could no longer hold back. She lowered her head and kissed the wound on Su Chen's chest. Her movements carried a hint of shyness and a hint of determination: "You are the first person to risk your life for me, and I will risk mine for you too."

From then on, in Zhu Zhuqing's World, there was an extra concern, an extra obsession with protection. She began to try facing the darkness, using her Hell Civet Spirit to scout enemy positions in the dark and guard everyone's safety. She always stood silently behind everyone, protecting this big family in her own way.

She remembered in Suotuo City, she used the Reversal Shadow Raid to pin down Xiao Ling's movements, creating an opportunity for Xiao Wu's Eight Stage Drop; in the Star Dou Secret Realm, her shadow wings were extremely fast, allowing her to avoid the Spirit Beast's attacks and provide cover for Su Chen to find an ancient spirit ring; on the battlefield, she used her own back to block the Asura God's Demonic Slash, protecting Ning Rongrong and the children behind her.

The intense pain of her divine soul tearing almost made her faint, but when she saw the safe figures of the children, she felt it was all worth it. "No one can hurt my people." This was the silent oath in her heart.

Fragments of memory flashed by slowly, and Zhu Zhuqing's consciousness returned to the star sea. She looked at the black figure in the center of the star sea and at the familiar Sisters around her, a faint smile tugging at the corners of her mouth.

Xiao Wu was saying something to Qian Renxue, her smile brilliant; Ning Rongrong was holding the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda, showing her new skills to Hinata; Yun Yun and Xun'er snuggled together, talking softly; Hanabi held the void-slicing blade, sparring with Zi Yan... Each smiling face was warm and vivid; this was her family, the people she wanted to protect.

"Sister Zhuqing, why aren't you saying anything?" Xiao Wu noticed her silence and ran over to take her hand.

Zhu Zhuqing shook her head, her eyes filled with tenderness: "It's nothing. I just feel that it's so good to have you all."

She reached out and gently held Xiao Wu's hand. The black shadow light intertwined with Xiao Wu's pink Soft Bone light. Within the star sea, the black light on Zhu Zhuqing's body became increasingly thick. That light carried the swiftness of the Hell Civet, her silence and tenderness, and most of all, her deepest protection for her family.

On the actual battlefield, Zhu Zhuqing's body slowly floated up. The wound on her back healed rapidly under the nourishment of the Power of Bonds. Her severed shadow wing reconsolidated, and the black nishen markings on the wing shone brightly. Her gaze became increasingly sharp, like a hunter in the dark, locking onto the enemies on the battlefield.
