The Trial of Fireworks, the Evolution of the Byakugan

Inside the trial grounds of the Nishen Hall, the sound of battle cries shook the heavens.

Hyuga Hanabi held a longsword, currently battling a Guard Member of the Nishen Hall. Her Byakugan was activated, and a sharp light flickered within her white pupils.

Hanabi's movements were agile and her swordsmanship fierce; every strike aimed directly at her opponent's vitals. However, that Guard Member's strength was not weak either; his Spirit was the Diamond Bear, and his defensive power was astonishing.

"Bang!" Hanabi's longsword slashed against the Diamond Bear's body, letting out a loud bang, yet it only left a shallow mark.

"Damn it!" Hanabi grit her teeth and charged forward once more.

Su Chen stood on the high platform of the trial grounds, watching Hanabi below as a satisfied glint flashed in his eyes. Hanabi's talent was high; she merely lacked combat experience.

"Hall Master, Little Sister Hanabi's strength is improving so quickly," Hinata said softly, standing beside Su Chen.

Su Chen nodded. "Indeed. Hanabi's Byakugan has infinite potential. With just a little guidance, her strength could surpass yours."

Hinata smiled. "I believe in Little Sister Hanabi."

Just then, the situation within the trial grounds changed. The Guard Member seized a flaw in Hanabi's defense and landed a punch on her abdomen.

Hanabi's body flew backward, crashing heavily onto the ground.

"Hanabi!" Hinata cried out in alarm, wanting to rush down.

Su Chen pulled her back. "Don't go. This is her trial; she must complete it herself."

Hanabi struggled to crawl up from the ground. A trace of blood seeped from the corner of her mouth, but her gaze was even more determined. She wiped away the blood, reactivated her Byakugan, and charged at the Guard Member.

"Gentle Fist: Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms!" Hanabi shouted, her hands dancing rapidly as she struck toward the Guard Member's body.

The Guard Member hurriedly channeled spirit power to form a defensive shield. However, Hanabi's Gentle Fist landed precisely on the shield's weak point.

"Crack!" The defensive shield shattered instantly.

Hanabi's palms struck the Guard Member's body. The Guard Member's body stiffened, and he slowly collapsed.

"I won!" Hanabi shouted excitedly, her eyes sparkling with thrill.

Su Chen walked down from the platform, came to Hanabi's side, and said with a smile, "Very good. Hanabi, you did exceptionally well."

Hanabi looked at Su Chen, a smile appearing on her face. "Hall Master, I won."

Su Chen nodded. "You won. But there are still many deficiencies in your Gentle Fist. Your Byakugan can only see the opponent's meridians and spirit power flow, but it cannot see the opponent's essence."

Hanabi's brow furrowed. "Essence?"

Su Chen said, "That's right. Essence is the foundation of a person. As long as you can see through the opponent's essence, you can easily defeat them."

As he spoke, he channeled the God-Defying Soul Power within him and injected it into Hanabi's body.

"This is God-Defying Power; try to merge it with your Byakugan," Su Chen said.

Hanabi nodded. She closed her eyes and began attempting to fuse the God-Defying Power with her Byakugan.

The God-Defying Power flowed through Hanabi's body, intertwining with the power of her Byakugan. Her Byakugan began to change. Within her white pupils, black nishen markings emerged, and a powerful aura spread from her body.

"God-Defying Byakugan!" Hanabi slowly opened her eyes, a flash of pleasant surprise in them.

Her God-Defying Byakugan could see the opponent's meridians, spirit power flow, and even their essence!

Su Chen nodded with satisfaction. "Very good. Hanabi, your Byakugan has evolved into the God-Defying Byakugan. From now on, you are the Nishen Hall's Reconnaissance Hall Master, responsible for the reconnaissance work of the Douluo Continent."

Hanabi said solemnly, "Yes! Hall Master!"

She looked at Su Chen, her eyes full of admiration. She knew it was Su Chen who had made her stronger.

Hinata walked to Hanabi's side and said with a smile, "Little Sister Hanabi, congratulations."

Hanabi looked at Hinata and said, "Sister, I will definitely work hard and won't lose to you."

Hinata smiled. "I believe in you."

Su Chen watched the interaction between the Sisters, a gratified smile appearing on his face.
