71: My Destiny Demon Soldier

Returning to the Deep Pool Water Mansion, which he had managed for many years and was heavily guarded by Formations, Gao De's long-tense mind finally relaxed completely.

Perched upon the central jade platform where the spiritual mist was thickest, he began to carefully take stock of the gains from his trip to the Dragon Palace Secret Passage.

First was that crucial "prison" character dragon talisman.

This talisman was made of a special material and felt ice-cold to the touch; it seemed to contain some ancient authority within, capable of resonating with certain Restrictions of the Dragon Palace Ruins.

Although its full purpose was currently unknown, it was undoubtedly a key to deeper exploration in the future. Gao De carefully put it away, placing it beside his flood dragon pearl to be nurtured.

Next was the scale Jade Slip that recorded the Water Origin Breath Concealment Technique.

As his Divine Sense probed inside, the cultivation formulas within flowed; they were indeed exquisite, capable of further concealing his own aura and Demonic Power fluctuations. This complemented his Breath Concealment talent, taking his ability to hide and lie in wait to the next level.

This technique was not difficult to Cultivate and could be used for daily life.

The most important gains were none other than those three dragon nurturing pills and that piece of geng metal thunder stone.

Without hesitation, Gao De first swallowed one dragon nurturing pill.

The Medicinal Pill melted the moment it entered his mouth, and a pure, gentle, yet domineering dragon breath medicinal power instantly dissolved. Like a sweet spring flowing through a dried-up riverbed, it rapidly merged into his limbs, bones, Meridians, and flood dragon pearl.

This power shared the same root and origin as his newly born Purple Lightning Flood Dragon Bloodline. It not only accelerated the recovery of some minor hidden injuries left from Undergoing Tribulation but also continuously purified and condensed his flood dragon blood and Demonic Power.

He could feel his Realm steadily consolidating, and his Early Stage Third Rank Foundation was being polished to become even more solid.

Just as the medicinal power of this dragon nurturing pill completely dissolved and merged deeply with his own Bloodline, a sudden change occurred!

Gao De's Divine Soul jolted violently, as if he had touched some ancient mark deep within his Bloodline.

A massive and profound flow of information, like a bursting flood, surged violently into his consciousness.

This was not an external Legacy, but a natal Legacy originating from his own Purple Lightning Flood Dragon Bloodline!

With the leap in his life level and sufficient external stimulation, this part of the dormant Legacy had finally awakened.

The flow of information eventually condensed into a unique refining method—the Thunder Flood Dragon Body Transformation Art.

This method was not for refining ordinary Magical Artifacts, but for teaching him how to use parts of his own body—such as shed scales, molted claws, broken teeth, and discarded mane—as primary Materials, supplemented by other spiritual Materials, to refine natal demon artifacts that were cultivated alongside his life and connected to his heart's blood!

Its core essence lay in "homologous symbiosis." Demon artifacts refined from one's own body were naturally a perfect fit for the host, easily controlled as if they were an extension of one's arm, and their power far exceeded Magical Artifacts of the same rank.

Even more miraculous was that these natal demon artifacts would grow and transform autonomously as the master's strength increased, continuously absorbing the Demonic Power and Bloodline essence dissipated during cultivation. They would gradually increase in rank, eliminating the need for frequent replacements; they were truly Growth-Type Weapons and armor.

Within the Legacy information, the refining prototypes for two types of natal demon artifacts were emphasized:

The first was the "purple scale earth-shaking armor": using the toughest Inverted Scale from his chest and abdomen as the core, supplemented by scales shed from all over his body, to be refined into a piece of close-fitting inner armor.

This armor not only had astonishing defensive power but could also convert part of the sustained attack power into the Power of Thunder to shock enemies back or channel it into the earth to be neutralized.

As Gao De's strength increased and his scales were replaced, this armor could also continuously incorporate new scales, becoming sturdier by the day and even developing stronger divine abilities for counter-shaking and force redirection.

The second was the "thunder fang formation-breaking halberd": using the sharpest shed or broken flood dragon teeth as the halberd tip, and tough Flood Dragon Tendons or specific Lightning-Struck Wood as the shaft, to be refined into a long-handled war halberd.

This halberd naturally contained Purple Lightning thunder, breaking through evil and laws, and was indestructible. It was especially suitable for a flood dragon like Gao De, who had a powerful Physical Body and was skilled in close-quarters combat.

As Gao De's fangs were replaced and his strength increased, the halberd's edge would become sharper, and the Power of Thunder it contained would become increasingly terrifying, even being able to summon Heavenly Thunder for enhancement.

Gao De felt the profound Legacy information, and his heart burned with excitement.

This Thunder Flood Dragon Body Transformation Art was practically tailor-made for him!

If he could successfully refine these two natal demon artifacts, his offensive and defensive capabilities would undergo a qualitative leap, far beyond what relying on external Magical Artifacts could provide.

However, amidst the excitement, he also quickly calmed down.

The Legacy information clearly stated that refining natal demon artifacts, especially the initial embryos, required a large amount of his own Materials such as scales, claws, and teeth.

Furthermore, the requirements for controlling Demon Fire and inscribing Formations were extremely high, not something someone who had just entered the Third Rank could easily attempt.

Gao De examined himself.

He had just transformed into a dragon, and his first large-scale natural period of shedding scales and changing teeth had not yet arrived. The fragmented Materials accumulated from daily shedding were far from enough to support the refining of any demon artifact embryo.

Forcibly collecting them would be like pulling up seedlings to help them grow, damaging his own Foundation.

"Haste makes waste," Gao De suppressed the urge to act immediately, understanding in his heart, "Although this method is good, it must happen naturally when the time is right."

"Currently, accumulating my own Materials is the first priority."

At the same time, he also thought of that unexpectedly obtained geng metal thunder stone.

This stone contained the essence of geng metal and the power of Heavenly Thunder; it was an excellent supplementary material for strengthening the tip of the "thunder fang formation-breaking halberd"!

If it could be integrated, it would surely take the initial sharpness and thunderous properties of the war halberd to the next level.

But this also had to wait until the main Materials were ready and his own Artifact Refining level was sufficient.

"In that case, there's no need to rush to find that Mysterious Fulcrum Master," Gao De thought to himself.

natal demon artifacts had to be refined by oneself; it was difficult for outsiders to do it on one's behalf.

That Mysterious Fulcrum Master might be someone he could discuss general Artifact Refining techniques with in the future, or who could help process some auxiliary Materials, but the core refining must be done personally.

He deeply memorized the formulas of the Thunder Flood Dragon Body Transformation Art, then turned his attention back to the remaining two dragon nurturing pills and the geng metal thunder stone.

"The urgent priority is to continue taking the dragon nurturing pills to completely consolidate my Realm and purify my Bloodline. At the same time, I should start consciously collecting my naturally shed scales, armor, claws, and teeth to prepare for refining natal demon artifacts in the future."

With his plan set, Gao De no longer hesitated, swallowed the second dragon nurturing pill, and continued to immerse himself in cultivation.

Purple Lightning swirled around him, the flood dragon pearl bobbed up and down, and his aura became increasingly solid and heavy under the power of the Medicinal Pill and the operation of his Cultivation Technique.

His path of cultivation, after his Dragon Transformation, had turned a new page due to the Awakening of this Bloodline Legacy—a unique path that integrated strength growth with the forging of Natal Divine Weapons.

The road ahead was long and required patience and perseverance, but the prospects were undoubtedly broader and more powerful.
