3: Chapter 3 The Sucker

Hearing someone call his name, Lin Yi stopped and looked back.

He saw Ye Shuangshuang jogging towards him, carrying a small crossbody bag and a coffee.

She was waving as she ran.

By the time she reached Lin Yi, a fine layer of sweat had already beaded on her forehead.

"Class... classmate!"

Ye Shuangshuang clutched her chest, which was heaving from rapid breathing, and while catching her breath, she gave Lin Yi a sweet and cute smile.

Lin Yi was a bit puzzled.

"Why did this girl chase after me?"

"Does she want to grab a drink or something?"

"They probably just happened to walk in together."

Gossip was gossip, but work was work.

Li Tong and Yang Xiaoli still walked up and politely asked Lin Yi and Ye Shuangshuang.
