111: blood curse lifted

"Hmph!" Upon seeing him, Gao Ying turned her head to the side.

"Ying, Baby, I'm sorry. I didn't want it to be like this either, but there's nothing I could do about the way to lift the blood curse, right?" Lou Jingyao was quick to admit his mistake.

"Your blood curse has been lifted. From now on, you're not allowed to touch me for a month." Gao Ying looked at him huffily.

"How can that be? Baby, isn't that just asking for my life?"

"It was unavoidable this time. I definitely won't be so reckless next time. Baby, sweetheart, darling, please don't be angry anymore."

"If I don't touch you for a month, I'll really go crazy." Lou Jingyao's shameless behavior started up again.

"Do you men only think with your lower half? How did you live before you had me? I didn't see you going crazy then!" Gao Ying wasn't truly angry to begin with.

Being coaxed like this made her feel better, but she still kept a straight face so he couldn't see her mood.

"Before I met the person who could make my heart flutter, how could I have had such thoughts?"

"Don't you know it was my first time?" Lou Jingyao was actually a bit shy as he said this.

Gao Ying thought back to the scene of his first time and couldn't help but burst out laughing.

"Baby, you're making fun of me." Lou Jingyao looked at her resentfully.

"Mm, your expression back then was truly hilarious. How can you be so cute?"

"Those tears you shed even made my heart ache." Gao Ying leaned against him, laughing.

"I just didn't know, okay? I thought I was incompetent and couldn't give you sexual bliss."

"Besides, those people are surely very skilled, so I definitely felt some psychological pressure. Fortunately, Baby patiently guided me."

"That's how I achieved my later results." Lou Jingyao became proud again as he thought of what happened afterward.

"Look at you. I haven't even gone out to explore the Imperial Capital yet. You'd better behave tonight, or I'll really be angry." Gao Ying warned him sternly.

"Don't worry, I'll definitely be on my best behavior tonight and just hold you while we sleep. I absolutely won't do anything." Lou Jingyao raised his hand and swore.

[Sister, during these few days you've been living it up, Liu Jiang woke up. However, he had a stroke and can no longer take care of himself. Even so, he still wants to cause trouble for you.]

[But Heartless took care of it. Now, no one on the Dark Web dares to take a contract to assassinate you.]

When Lou Jingyao went out, Fugui told her about this.

"Didn't he already leave with Ruthless? I thought he had a huge problem with me."

On the night Gao Ying left, Heartless also left the villa, and no one knew where he went.

She didn't ask Fugui to check, as she still respected people's privacy.

[He did leave the villa, but he's currently right next door to Lou Jingyao's house.]

"He knows I'm here?" Gao Ying asked.

[He knows. He's been following you since the night you left. He even chartered a plane and followed you from Xi Yan's house at the beginning all the way here.]

"He's been stalking me? Why didn't the Hidden Doctor and the others tell me?" Gao Ying asked with a frown.

[Don't blame the Hidden Doctor and the others. They mentioned it at the beginning when you were in the car, but your mind was all on Lou Jingyao back then.]

[So you told them it didn't matter. Since you gave the word, they didn't mention it again.] Fugui spoke up for the two Hidden Doctors.

Gao Ying thought about it and realized it really happened. It was just that she was so shocked by the method to lift the curse at the time that she just said not to worry about it.

[Sister, Heartless was raised as a killing machine since he was a child. No one ever taught him how to love someone or how to be good to others.]

[The reason he followed you is that he's afraid the rare person who made his heart flutter would abandon him.] Fugui put in a good word for Heartless.

Gao Ying took out her phone and scrolled to Heartless's chat box. [What are you doing?]

Heartless replied instantly. [Waiting for your message.]

Gao Ying: [Going out for a stroll tomorrow. Want to come?]

Heartless: [Yes!]

Gao Ying: [Okay, wait for my message tomorrow.]

Heartless put away his phone and glanced at the villa next door. His face, which had been gloomy for days, finally showed a hint of warmth.

"Heartless is coming out with us tomorrow." When Lou Jingyao came back in, Gao Ying told him about it.

"The number one killer Liu Jiang hired from the Dark Web?" Lou Jingyao knew of this person.

Gao Ying: "Mm, he's right next door."

"I heard from Ah Yan that Heartless is very handsome and that you were bewitched by his face."

"Between him and me, who's more handsome? Who suits your taste more?" Lou Jingyao was still confident in his own looks.

"How should I put it? You two aren't the same type. Each has your own unique charm, so it's hard for me to tell."

"Shut up. I want to sleep now. You're not allowed to ask any more of these pointless questions." Gao Ying was indeed tired. She closed her eyes and fell asleep shortly after.

Seeing her asleep, Lou Jingyao gave her a pillow to hug, then got up and went downstairs to the house next door.

"You're Heartless?" Seeing the man who opened the door, Lou Jingyao had to admit he was very handsome.

"What is it?" Heartless asked coldly.

"Nothing. I just wanted to see what the man Ying praised as handsome looks like."

"If you don't mind, you can come over to my place for dinner tomorrow." Lou Jingyao left after taking a look.

Hearing that Gao Ying had praised his looks, Heartless started to care about his appearance for the first time.

Come to think of it, which man by her side wasn't exceptionally handsome?

Even though they planned to go out, Gao Ying still slept until noon. After washing up and coming out, she saw Lou Jingyao and Heartless playing a game of chess.

"Heartless, Jingyao, why are you two together?"

"Since I knew he was next door, I just invited him over for a meal." Seeing her come down, the two of them stopped their game.

"I didn't expect Heartless to be quite the cook. These two dishes were made by him." Lou Jingyao brought the food over from the kitchen.

"Men who can cook are indeed very handsome. And with such great culinary skills, you're even more handsome." Gao Ying gave them both a thumbs-up.

"As long as you like it. After lunch, I'll take you to the Starlight Club."

"It has all sorts of facilities," Lou Jingyao said.

"Alright. I haven't properly explored the Imperial Capital yet, so I'll make sure to do that this time."

"By the way, what's the situation with Liu Jiang now?" Gao Ying looked at Heartless and asked.

"Except for Liu Jiang, the rest of the Liu family has fled. The Third Liu brother was quite clever and fled abroad early on."

"As for Liu Jiang's other two sons, once they got the money, they thought they were hot stuff and planned to start their own businesses."

"As for Liu Jiang, I had him put into a coma and sent to a nursing home to save him from constantly looking for trouble with you." Heartless informed her of the Liu family's current status.

"It must have been hard for a number one killer like you to do so much. Here's a chicken leg as a reward." Gao Ying placed a chicken leg in his bowl.

"For you, I don't mind the trouble." Heartless ate the chicken leg, his eyes gentle and his heart filled with satisfaction.

"Fugui, in the novels I've read, the female lead's men always compete for her favor. I was worried about that at first."

"But I didn't expect them to get along so harmoniously. I'm simply too happy." Gao Ying said to Fugui as she watched Lou Jingyao and Heartless dining together pleasantly.

Fugui: [Because they know Sister doesn't like trouble. Minor squabbles are charming, but if they were constantly jealous and making the house chaotic, you'd definitely get angry and feel that having too many people is a burden.]

[They're afraid that in a fit of rage, you'd discard them all. So as soon as a newcomer arrives, they show them the House rules.]
