131: Chapter 2 Arrival in the Land Where the Sun Never Sets

"Can I say that I have too many identities, and even I am not clear about them?" Gao Ying asked with a chuckle.

She truly had no way to answer this; she needed to reach the designated country to know her identity.

"Alright then, we'll unlock them slowly; that's also quite interesting." Heartless didn't press for an answer.

Upon arriving at the castle, the servants stood in two rows to welcome the three of them: "Welcome home, Princess Deola and the two Imperial Consorts!"

Gao Ying was speechless when she heard them use the term "Imperial Consorts," and she looked at David.

"Princess, this is in accordance with the titles from your country. We checked the records; the men of an Eastern princess are called Imperial Consorts," David replied respectfully.

"Hmm~ It's not that you can't call them that, but that's an old term from our country. It sounds a bit awkward now, so just call them 'Mister'. This one is Mr. Heartless, and this one is Mr. Huo. Also, this Mr. Huo is my business partner, not my husband," Gao Ying introduced the two.

David acknowledged this and said he would address them as 'Mister' from now on.

Huo Yunci's eyes darkened when he heard her words. Wait a little longer; once the Hong Family matter is resolved, there will be plenty of time to enter her heart.

"David, did you find anything on the information I sent you?" The moment Gao Ying confirmed her identity, she had Fugui send a message to David, asking him to investigate what kind of background the Hong Family had in the Sun Never Sets Country.

"My dear Princess, I went to investigate the moment I received the message. This Hong Family is just a low-level family here. I don't know how they offended you, but I will go and resolve it personally," David said, handing the findings to Gao Ying.

David didn't take the Hong Family seriously at all.

Gao Ying glanced at the documents. The Hong Family did indeed have some assets in the Sun Never Sets Country, and they even had connections with local gangs. No wonder they were so confident about taking on the Four Great Families.

"Take a look," Gao Ying said, handing the documents to Heartless and Huo Yunci.

"Do you need me to just kill them?" In Heartless's view, killing the person in charge would settle everything once and for all.

"Heartless, you are still too kind. For people like them, killing them directly would actually be a relief. Making them watch themselves fall into the abyss is the cruelest punishment." Gao Ying rested her chin on her right hand, tapping the table unconsciously with her left, the corners of her mouth curling up slightly.

Seeing her like this, neither Heartless nor Huo Yunci felt she was cruel; instead, they found her beautiful—breathtakingly beautiful.

"Darling is right; as an assassin, I am still too soft-hearted." Heartless couldn't help but walk to her side and gently kiss her red lips.

David acted as if he hadn't seen anything.

Huo Yunci also wanted to be like Heartless and kiss those lips he had been longing for for so long, but remembering his status, he held back.

"David, I think this Head of the Hong Family should be fine tomorrow, right?" Gao Ying returned Heartless's kiss and then looked at the butler.

"Of course, noble Princess. Tomorrow, this Head of the Hong Family will be waiting at home for your arrival," David immediately understood the meaning behind her words and replied respectfully.

"Good. We are a bit tired today, let's rest first." Gao Ying stood up, took Heartless's hand, and went to the bedroom to rest.

"Are you very tired?" Heartless helped her massage her shoulders and neck.

"A little. Even though it was a private jet, the feeling of being on the ground is the most comfortable." There was fatigue in Gao Ying's voice, and she fell asleep shortly after.

However, Heartless didn't stop the massage. Only after confirming she was in a deep sleep did he get up and go out.

Heartless went to the kitchen to prepare dinner; Gao Ying had a delicate stomach, and she definitely wouldn't be used to the food here.

"Mr. Heartless, we know the Princess isn't used to our country's food, so we have prepared Chinese chefs," David explained.

"Darling likes the food I make. You can let those chefs rest," Heartless said, continuing to prepare the ingredients.

David bowed to him and left the kitchen.

Shortly after, Huo Yunci also came to the kitchen: "Do you need me to help out?"

"Help me pick the vegetables." Heartless didn't stand on ceremony and handed the vegetables to him to process.

"What do you plan to do?" Heartless asked.

"After the Hong Family matter is resolved, I will stick by her side. One day, I will enter her heart." Huo Yunci knew he wasn't talking about how to deal with the Hong Family, but rather how to stay by Gao Ying's side.

Heartless said: "Darling is very good, and her heart is soft. You'll have to work hard yourself."

"Why aren't you jealous? Why don't you try your best to stop others from entering?" Huo Yunci asked the question that had been in his heart.

"Because Darling deserves the best in the world, and we don't want to make things difficult for her. Regarding others joining later, it's not that I don't feel pain, but compared to my own feelings, I am more afraid of Darling feeling pained or troubled." Heartless finally looked up at him.

Huo Yunci looked into his serious eyes, feeling a bit lost.

If he joined, would the others welcome him?

"If you can't accept it, stop now. It would be better for you," Heartless said, seeing his confusion.

"No. If I have to leave, I might as well just become a monk," Huo Yunci instinctively retorted.

The two fell into silence, just silently doing their work.

By the time Gao Ying woke up, it was already midnight. Hearing the movement, Heartless opened his eyes.

"Are you awake? I'll go heat up the food." As he spoke, he got up.

Shortly after, Heartless brought in the food.

"Delicious. I knew it was your cooking as soon as I tasted it. Doesn't the castle have chefs? Are you tired?" Gao Ying asked, looking at him with concern.

"I'm not tired. Huo Yunci was helping too." Seeing her eating happily, Heartless felt very happy.

After eating and drinking her fill, Gao Ying was no longer sleepy. She took her laptop and started working.

Heartless stayed by her side to keep her company.

Things were not peaceful at the Hong Family's side tonight.

David had already sent people to surround the Hong Family; truly, not even a fly could fly out or in.

Hong Fu was completely confused by the situation, thinking he had offended those gang members. But after making calls, he couldn't find out any useful information.

"Master, what exactly is going on? They look so fierce and menacing; it's so scary," Hong Fu's young wife asked in a coy, delicate voice.

"Get lost! Can't you see I'm annoyed right now?" Hong Fu slapped her directly.

The woman didn't dare to make a sound after being hit, covering her face and going upstairs.

Normally, Hong Fu might have flirted with her, but now that he didn't even know what was going on, this woman was so lacking in awareness.

"Old geezer, how dare you hit me! If it weren't for your money, who would be with you?" The woman was so angry she kept punching the bed.

Just then, a mobile message came in: "Darling, does your face hurt? I saw you get hit just now, and my heart aches for you."

"Hmph! You only know how to say sweet things. If you're so capable, why don't you stand up to that old man?" The woman was still angry, and seeing this message only added to her fury.

"Darling, wait a little longer. I am already taking secret action; soon, we will be able to run away together."

"Hurry up. I don't want to be by that old man's side for another second." Seeing the message about leaving soon, the woman felt much better.
