Cutting into the Future

“The facts prove that a 999-game winning streak is just a ridiculous lie.”

“The Empire will not grant you true freedom.”

“Instead of waiting for others to bestow it, it's better to kill a path to the future!”

Lin Yuan's face turned pale from excessive blood loss,

but his eyes were resolute and powerful.

He stood up and walked to the entrance of the Dungeon.

Two Imperial Soldiers happened to rush over,

seeing that Lin Yuan had brutally used Broken Stones to sever his own right hand.

The two Imperial Soldiers wore expressions of surprise,

but immediately after, the two Imperial Soldiers drew their weapons,

aiming at Lin Yuan.

People like Alex have things they care about,

so The Empire can easily control him.

Even though Alex is very strong, The Empire does not regard him as a threat.

Lin Yuan is different.

Even in a Dungeon filled with vicious and ruthless people,

he can be considered a complete Lunatic.

If he wasn't a Lunatic, why would he sever his own wrist without a word?

Such Lunatics must be killed quickly.

If they accidentally let him influence more people,

it might lead to great trouble.

The two Imperial Soldiers charged at Lin Yuan, swords in hand.

Lin Yuan tilted his head, neither dodging nor avoiding.

The combat power of this body of his was pitifully weak.

Even with his limbs intact, he was no match for the two Imperial Soldiers,

let alone now that Lin Yuan's right hand had been severed.

Lin Yuan did not dodge or avoid, not because he couldn't react,

but because he simply didn't need to.

Behind him, the sound of wrists colliding with Broken Stones continuously rang out.

A 1.9-meter-tall Dark Elf rapidly swept past Lin Yuan.

Disarming an opponent barehanded was as easy as picking something out of a pocket.

Face-to-face, he seized the sword and counter-killed the Imperial Soldier.

The entire process took less than three seconds.

Turning his head,

Dao Ba was sprawled on top of the other Imperial Soldier.

His remaining left hand easily twisted the opponent's neck.

Seeing Lin Yuan's gaze, Dao Ba grinned,

“Shorty, I admire your courage.”

Lin Yuan bent down and picked up the weapon dropped by the Imperial Soldier.

He walked up to Alex and Jisen.

“You lost.”

“Starting today, your life belongs to me.”

Turning his head, Lin Yuan looked at Jisen.

“As for you, you want Alex to serve you as master? You're not worthy.”

Lin Yuan swung his blade, severing one of Jisen's hands.

“Ah!!!”

“How dare you!”

“I am the Supreme Director of Imperial Weapon Testing. You will pay the price for your foolish actions!”

“All you Commoners must die, including the 1.23 million Darkkin Tribesmen.”

“You're too noisy.” Another strike followed,

severing both of Jisen's arms.

Lin Yuan did not intend to let him go.

With several continuous flashes of the blade,

he carved Jisen into a Human Pig (Ren Zhi).

“Spare me, I know I was wrong.”

“If only you spare me, I will have Thunder Lion Patton release all of you.”

Lin Yuan looked down at Jisen.

“No need. Freedom is not bestowed by anyone; it is exchanged for by the weapons in our hands.”

Lin Yuan turned around, facing everyone.

“Did you hear what he called us?”

“Commoners.”

“They don't see us as human beings at all.”

“Only death will make them recognize reality.”

“If you want freedom, there is only one word: Kill!”

“Kill until the skies darken and the earth turns dim; kill a path to the future.”

After speaking, Lin Yuan stabbed Jisen in the heart with his blade.

Jisen completely fell silent.

“Kill! Kill! Kill!” The Slaves were enraged, eager to rush out immediately.

Morale was usable.

Lin Yuan was very satisfied.

Lin Yuan pressed his left hand down, gesturing for everyone to be quiet.

“The Lionheart Arena has existed for thousands of years. They never imagined there would be a day when Warriors like us would overthrow their rule.”

“Although we have escaped confinement, without weapons and armor, killing our way out will be very difficult.”

“We will first take the Armory and the Medical Room.”

“Before The Empire can react, release all the Slaves, including the Beasts.”

Alex listened nearby, offering no opinion.

Only after Lin Yuan finished speaking,

Alex let out a roar,

transforming into a Darkkin Great Demon.

With a forceful pull,

the Special Chains binding his wrists were broken.

“I'll go to the Armory alone,” Alex said softly.

“We'll go to the Medical Room.” Dao Ba and Shou Hou chose to go to the Medical Room.

His wrist was still bleeding; getting treatment at the Medical Room was essential.

Otherwise, he might bleed to death before they could kill their way out.

Before leaving the Dungeon, Lin Yuan solemnly instructed,

“You must move quickly and not give them a chance to resist.”

No one responded,

but from the Killing Intent emanating from everyone's eyes,

one could tell how long their anger had been suppressed.

It was certain that if an enemy appeared before them,

they would likely be instantly torn to shreds.

The two groups split up,

Alex headed to the Armory alone,

while Lin Yuan took the others to the Medical Room.

Perhaps the Lionheart Arena had been complacent for too long.

While Lin Yuan and the others were treating each other's wounds in the Medical Room,

the Imperial Soldiers responsible for guarding were still enthusiastically watching the gladiatorial combat.

This particular match was very engaging:

an Elf Shadow Dancer versus a Kuwei Pirate.

Both Gladiators fighting were female.

The Elf Shadow Dancer only used a few scraps of cloth to cover her vital areas.

Large expanses of skin were revealed when she ran quickly,

allowing the Gentlemen in the stands to feast their eyes.

The humiliation caused the Elf's Killing Intent to surge,

wanting to quickly kill the enemy before her.

But her opponent was no ordinary foe.

Kuwei People possess natural divine Strength, rumored to be backed by Gods.

The exceptional among them are guided to the Temple of War God upon death,

to become Valkyries.

The Kuwei Person before them clearly belonged to the extremely exceptional type.

Her defense was astonishing and her Strength immense.

The Elf's weapon could barely pierce the opponent's skin.

The two fought fiercely, neither willing to yield.

Just as everyone's attention was drawn to the two of them,

a loud crash sounded.

The arena gates were forcibly shattered from the inside.

Hearing the noise,

the two combatants were startled simultaneously.

They turned their heads to look toward the arena gates.

Someone walked out from the Shadows.

A thirty-meter-long Ground Dragon appeared in everyone's view.

On the back of the Ground Dragon was a smiling Lin Yuan.

Different from before,

Lin Yuan had a fist blade attached to his right wrist,

adding a touch of wildness to his demeanor.

Alex held a Golden Two-handed Sword,

riding a fifty-meter-long Adult Blue Dragon closely behind him.

It was this Blue Dragon that had forcibly smashed through the arena gates just now.

Judging by the Rage in the Blue Dragon's eyes, smashing the arena was just the beginning.

What he intended to do was kill every single one of the people who treated him as a plaything.

Behind the Blue Dragon,

were hundreds of Gladiators who had followed Lin Yuan in smashing their own wrists.

These people had all made the same choice as Lin Yuan,

connecting weapons to their right hands.

Some were swords, some were Fist Spikes; there was a variety of everything.

This was thanks to the wide variety of weapons in the Armory.

Otherwise, there wouldn't have been enough for everyone.
