29 Hiring a Human Shield

"Of course!" Chen Fan raised his gun, then shouted, "Quick, look! It's shaking again!"

"You… all of you… drink!" Wei Songyue was nearly in tears. There were still 50 cans of beer left to drink.

Yiteng Yun curled his lips, then said, "To secretly conceal a gun carries a punishment of an imprisonment of less than three years or house arrest. And, your gun is not even an army-issue gun, so if you were exposed, it's nothing a little money couldn't fix. If we report you, at most, we could get 500 yuan worth of easy money, which is the price given by the Ministry of Public Security. Do you think that we have so much free time on our hands?"

"Yes, boss, don't you worry!" Zhang Lele bobbed his head, like a chick pecking at grains, "But… Won't Wei Songyue call the cops?"
