83 Silver Necklace

After leaving the shipyard, Chen Fan took out his phone to call Chen Shuguang, to ask him where he was so that they could go prepare the travel documents. Chen Shuguang was indeed a veteran. After the two of them arrived at the travel agency and took three two-inch colored photos with white a background, they only needed to fill out an exit application form, and they could go back and collect their visas two days later.

After waiting for two days, Chen Fan received a call from the shipyard informing him that the submarine model was ready and could officially be put into use.

"How is it? Are you satisfied with how it looks?" The middle-aged man pointed at the submarine model behind him. "I've made the tail thruster valve almost like the real one. If we make it according to the dimensions, it will definitely scare our Zhongyun Navy to death!"

"Your 'Seawolf Class' seems to be spelled wrong." Chen Fan pointed at the alphabets on the submarine body. "I remember seeing on the internet, I think it's 'Soawllf Class'."

"Well…." The man looked a little confused. "I also searched for it on the internet and it should be correct!" The fact was the man had indeed gotten it wrong, but Chen Fan wasn't right either!

"Forget it, I'm also not too sure." Chen Fan went into the submarine to have a look before nodding. "The overall feel is not bad. Push it into the sea and get a tugboat to tow it further away. I'll make a call to get a ship to pull it away."

"Alright!" The owner shouted to a few strong men to come over, poured oil onto the axis, and then removed the skid underneath the submarine model, causing it to slide into the water with the slope's inertia. 　　　

Thump! With a thunderous sound, the entire submarine fell into the water, producing enormous waves. Once it got into the water, huge water bubbles appeared on both sides of the submarine. After thirty seconds when the water storage tanks at the two sides had been filled with water, the submarine started going slowly into the water, showing only its black tower at the top.

After getting people to pull the submarine model to the designated location, Chen Fan drove to the beach. While there was no one around, he wrapped the Kunwu dagger and the Luger pistol with a few layers of plastic bag before taping them onto the front claw of the electric eel. He was getting them ready for use in Myanmar.

After the taping was done, Chen Fan huddled back into the car to control the eel. He got the eel to grab the tail of the submarine and use its claws to turn the valve, filling the hold with some water so that the submarine could sink to the bottom of the sea on its own.

"Fully manual silent submarine..." Chen Fan exclaimed as he drove toward Zhongyun City's airport.

After leaving his car in the car park, Chen Fan dialed Chen Shuguang's number to ask him where he was.

"I'm here!" Just as he stepped into the main building, Chen Shuguang came forward wearing a yellow cap. He thrust a plastic bag at Chen Fan before pointing to his own attire. "Quickly go to the toilet and get changed. We signed up for a tour group, so our attire has to be uniform."

"This is real ugly…" Chen Fan pulled out a yellow cap printed with the words "Fiyata Travel Agency" on it. "Why does it look like an orange?"

Chen Shuguang gave him a 'count yourself lucky' expression. "The travel agency I signed up with the previous time gave a green cap!"

After getting changed and following the tour group into the plane, Chen Fan pretended to rest with his eyes closed while he focused his thoughts on the electric eel. The electric eel grabbed the thirty-meter long, six meter wide submarine with its claws as if it had caught a bighead carp. With the meteor hammer on the submarine, the eel held onto the four U-shaped clamps, moving its tail and swimming toward Myanmar. 

The flight time from Zhongyun to Myanmar was around seven hours, but the electric eel needed almost three days with its current speed. Just when Chen Fan was focused on the electric eel, Chen Shuguang who was seated near the aisle gave Chen Fan's shoulder a pat.

"What is it?" Chen Fan shifted his thoughts back and opened his eyes.

"We're arriving at Yangon airport in another half an hour. Let me explain to you the culture and taboos there." Before Chen Fan could reply, Chen Shuguang started rattling. "Ninety-five out of a hundred people there believe in Buddhism. Although you're not a believer, you have to put your palms together when you see a statue of a Buddha in front of others. "What the hell, so many taboos!" Chen Fan could not help but respond with vulgarities. "You can't go out today, can't borrow money tomorrow, can't give gifts the day after...then what's the point of living?"

"Just get used to it, get used to it!" Chen Shuguang gestured him to calm down.

"Dear passengers, flight 10315 bound for Yangon, Myanmar is ready for descent. Please fasten your seat belts… Dear passengers…" Just as Chen Fan was grumbling, the sweet voice of the flight attendant came from the announcement system.

"Fasten your seat belt, it feels horrible during the descent!" Chen Shuguang fastened his seat belt while reminding Chen Fan.

After getting off the plane, Chen Shuguang went to the tour guide and mumbled something before thrusting a stack of notes to him and left the tour group with Chen Fan. 　　　　　　

"Where are we going now?" Under the dim yellow lighting, Chen Fan looked at the unfamiliar buildings in the surroundings and his thoughts seemed to travel back to the nineties all of a sudden.

"Let's find a place to stay for the night. We'll take a five to six hour train ride to Rakhine State early tomorrow morning!" Chen Shuguang hailed a white cab. "The surroundings may look old and tattered, but the number of high spending areas in Yangon is no less than in Zhongyun."

The level of spending in Yangon is much less than in Zhongyun, and the businessmen here all looked like devout Buddhists, not knowing even the basics of ripping someone off.

While lying on his hotel bed at night, Chen Fan shifted his thoughts onto the electric eel again. After Chan Fan spent almost seven hours on the plane, the eel had only reached Fujian Province. It still had to go around the Taiwan Strait and then toward Myanmar.

Early next morning, Chen Fan, while still feeling drowsy, got pulled to the train station by Chen Shuguang. After getting two tickets to Rakhine, Chen Fan had wanted to continue with his sleep on the train, but his drowsiness completely disappeared the moment he got on the train. After leaving the still passable city of Yangon, the scenery on the train journey made Chen Fan feel that this country was only just a little bit better off than North Korea. Nonetheless, it was still a backward place that even a rat wouldn't want to stay at. This was not the main cause of Chen Fan's worry. He was in fact worried that the train he was on might go off the track any time.

Other than being as slow as an ill, old cow, the old green train first shook to the left until it got oriented on the track before it started shaking in the other direction, repeating this as it went forward. The level of danger was definitely enough to make a timid person shed tears.

"Just get used to it!" Chen Shuguang consoled with a smiling face. "Although the probability of the train going off track in Myanmar is much higher than in other countries, I always buy the tickets for the seats at the back. The unlucky ones will be those seated in front, it won't be us."　

Rakhine State is an unincorporated state in Myanmar, and Chen Fan and company's destination was the capital of Rakhine State, Sittwe. The train shook all the way there until noon. Chen Fan finally put his heart at ease when he placed one foot on the concrete floor. Chen Shuguang and Chen Fan finally reached their destination. after a half hour cab ride. It was a domed building gilded with gold. The surrounding long white walls and unmatched height of the building were evidence of the owner's status. Chen Shuguang seemed to frequent this place. After greeting the two guards with a smile, the guards opened the scarlet main gate and gestured them inside. 　After walking through a dense bamboo grove, Chen Shuguang pointed at a religious looking building. "This is the mansion of that powerful man. Its grand, isn't it?"

Chen Fan curled his lips, "It's passable."

There was a man and a woman in the white themed main hall. The man was in his forties, wearing thumb-size Buddha prayer beads around his neck and a white knee-length robe. His sallow face was covered with wrinkles.

Sitting opposite him was a curvy young woman in a cream-colored dress, with a pair of sunglasses on her fair face. Together with her chestnut-brown chopped hair, she looked liked like a movie star on a poster.

"The mistress is really hot!" Chen Fan smacked his lips and mumbled. But he immediately realized that he was wrong.

"Mr Wu, I'll make a move first. Let's catch up again soon!" The woman stood up graciously after seeing that there were guests. She put her palms together which looked like praying in Buddhism before walking in between the two men in her white leather boots with a Chanel logo and left.

"Smells so good." After the woman walked out of the main door, Chen Shuguang whispered to Chen Fan as he became intoxicated with the scent.

"Hey bro, what's wrong with you?" Chen Shuguang patted Chen Fan's shoulder. "Don't tell me you're mesmerized by this woman...love at first sight?"

"Hey, Bro Chen, can you stop behaving like an obsessed freak?"

"Hey…" Chen Fan was still like a wax figure, not moving at all. A nuclear explosion had taken place in his mind. Needless to say, he wasn't being an obsessed freak, and neither was it because the curvy woman looked like his first love.
