39: Chapter 39 Hello, Dr. Qin (16)

After Jiang Wan confirmed her relationship with Dr. Qin, Dr. Qin began treating Jiang Wan's place as his own home.

He would return to where Jiang Wan lived as soon as he got off work, sharing the bed with her and being intimately entwined.

Gradually, more and more of a man's belongings began to appear in Jiang Wan's home.

Fortunately, the hourly housekeeper was not arranged by the Jiang Family; otherwise, Jiang Wan's secret would have been exposed long ago.

But how could Dr. Qin be willing to remain a secret lover forever? As long as he showed his phone wallpaper in front of Jiang Han, the matter would be impossible to hide.

Dr. Qin's phone wallpaper was a photo of him and Jiang Wan, taken when they were watching a movie—cheek to cheek, extremely intimate.

Upon seeing this photo, Jiang Han exploded.

"What the hell, what is this?"

Jiang Han snatched the phone from Dr. Qin and took a closer look.

"This... who is the girl in this photo?"

Jiang Han stared fixedly at the phone, unable to believe that this was his sister.

Dr. Qin looked up at the ceiling, refusing to meet Jiang Han's eyes.

Furious, Jiang Han grabbed Dr. Qin by the collar and roared.

"I'm asking you! If you're a man, give it to me straight and answer me quickly."

Dr. Qin took his phone back.

"Didn't you already see it?"

"What? Is it really my Wanwan? When did you get together with her? You dog, I treated you like a brother, and you were eyeing my sister?"

After saying this, Jiang Han threw a punch at Dr. Qin.

Dr. Qin didn't dodge; he took the punch squarely, and the corner of his mouth turned bruised.

Jiang Han was shocked.

"Why didn't you dodge?"

Dr. Qin looked at Jiang Han sincerely.

"I'm sorry for not telling you; it's my fault. If you still haven't vented your anger, you can continue hitting me."

Bringing this up only made Jiang Han angrier. The cabbage raised by his family had actually been rooted up by a pig—how could he possibly be happy!

Jiang Han wanted to know more; after getting the details, it wouldn't be too late to beat him up again.

"When did you set your sights on my sister?"

Dr. Qin answered seriously:

"The first time we met. When she fell in front of me, I was already moved."

Jiang Han was agitated.

"You dog, that early? You were just lusting after her beauty, right? You didn't know anything about her back then, and you were already moved? No wonder I felt something was off back then. It was weird when you asked for a wheelchair, and Wanwan even said you were the one who carried her up. So you, you dog, had bad intentions all along!"

Dr. Qin did not deny his original motives.

"Love at first sight is something you wouldn't understand. As a single dog, you definitely wouldn't get it."

Jiang Han slammed the table and retorted loudly:

"Now you're resorting to personal attacks! Get this straight—who do you think you're talking to? Do you believe me if I say I'll make Wanwan break up with you right now?"

Dr. Qin lowered his eyes:

"I believe you. Of course I believe you. As long as you speak up, she will definitely do as you say. Although she doesn't live with you all, I know very well that while Wanwan might not care much about the others in your family, she cares about your opinion. If you don't agree with us being together, I think she would probably break up with me."

"I heard from my mother that your mother wants to find a partner for Wanwan, and they are all from out of town. I don't know if this is your mother's intention or the whole family's, but I think compared to them, I am the most suitable for Wanwan."

Dr. Qin had indeed heard about this from his mother. When Mother Qin and Mother Jiang went for beauty treatments, Mother Jiang had asked her if she knew any young men from out of town with good family backgrounds, and if so, could she introduce them to Jiang Wan.

Hearing this, Jiang Han was uncharacteristically silent. He had also heard his mother mention this, and he was against his mother's wish for Jiang Wan to marry far away.

There were plenty of young men with good family backgrounds in the area; why did she have to insist on picking someone so far away?

Jiang Han looked at his friend, thinking that if Jiang Wan were with him, that actually didn't seem so bad.

This guy had a clean private life, outstanding ability, and their families were well-matched in social status; he was indeed a suitable marriage partner.

"How long have you two been together?"

Dr. Qin answered truthfully.

"Less than half a month."

After saying this, Dr. Qin asked a follow-up question.

"Does this mean you agree to us being together?"

Jiang Han rolled his eyes at him.

"If I didn't agree, would you break up with her?"

Dr. Qin shook his head immediately.

"No. You are you, and she is she. As long as Wanwan is willing to be with me, that's all that matters. Your opinion isn't actually important."

Hearing this, Jiang Han exploded.

"How is it not important? I am her big brother; shouldn't you need my consent to be with her?"

Seeing Dr. Qin staring at him fixedly, Jiang Han sat down.

"If you can guarantee that you will treat her well for the rest of your life, I actually have nothing to object to."

Dr. Qin, of course, gave his guarantee immediately.

"Of course I will treat her well. In this life, I have set my heart on her."

Just like that, after getting the green light from Jiang Han, when Dr. Qin and Jiang Wan went on dates, they no longer had to be secretive and began to date openly.

But this had both advantages and disadvantages.

The advantage was that when outsiders saw them together, Dr. Qin could introduce her openly as his girlfriend.

The disadvantage was that he could no longer hold Jiang Wan and sleep with her at night.

That damn Jiang Han was actually conducting bed-checks. Worried that Jiang Wan might suffer losses before marriage, he made Jiang Wan move in with him, guarding against Dr. Qin strictly.

This left Dr. Qin without any intimate time with Jiang Wan for several days.

Dr. Qin thought that things couldn't go on like this; he had to marry Jiang Wan as soon as possible.

Both the Qin Family and the Jiang Family had actually heard about the affair between Dr. Qin and Jiang Wan long ago.

When Father Qin and Mother Qin heard that their son wanted them to go propose marriage, they were so excited they couldn't sleep.

They hadn't expected their son, who had been single since birth, to finally have his eyes opened!

The Qin Family hurriedly prepared gifts and went to visit the Jiang Family.

Father Jiang had always been very satisfied with Dr. Qin, and recently, having heard his wife nagging in his ear about those people from out of town, he was incredibly annoyed.

Seeing the Qin Family come to propose, he dropped his airs and directly agreed to the young couple's affair.

Father Jiang agreed, but Mother Jiang did not; however, Father Jiang had the upper hand.

Father Jiang said he was the head of the household; he agreed, and their son agreed, so why shouldn't she, as the mother, agree?

Father Jiang also said that if Mother Jiang was dissatisfied with his decision, the two of them could get a divorce; that way, their daughter would belong to him, and her opinion wouldn't be needed.

With the word "divorce" having been said, could Mother Jiang really disagree?

After both families agreed, they skipped the engagement and planned to go straight to marriage, with the wedding date set for half a month later.

The date was such a coincidence; other than the good date half a month later, all other auspicious dates were scheduled for half a year away.

How could Dr. Qin wait that long?

He was dying to marry Jiang Wan and bring her home that very day!

Regarding Jiang Wan's destiny, Father Jiang had initially worried that after Jiang Wan went to another family, she might bring trouble to them.

Therefore, he secretly took Jiang Wan's birth date and time and Dr. Qin's birth date and time to have them calculated by someone. Only after hearing the master say it was a "match made in heaven" did Father Jiang truly feel relieved.

A match made in heaven is good, a match made in heaven is good indeed. It seems he really hadn't misjudged.

Very soon, the wedding day arrived.

Everyone looked at the perfectly matched newlyweds and offered their blessings one after another.
