66: Chapter 66 The Flower Shop Owner

For the task involving Wang Yaoyao, Jiang Li didn't feel much pressure.

It was just opening a flower shop.

It could be difficult, but it could also be simple.

In a big city, every step—location, renovation, foot traffic, rent—had to be calculated carefully.

But Fanxing County was different.

There wasn't much here, but there were plenty of shops for transfer and shops going out of business.

Especially in the last two years, new "For Lease" signs appeared on the commercial street every few days.

Some shops were bustling with drums and gongs when they opened, with more flower baskets at the entrance than actual customers.

But very few managed to last past three months.

When Jiang Li used to run a luxury rental shop, he had seen this situation too many times.

The economy of Fanxing County wasn't entirely bad, so to speak.

After all, the tourism industry was still quite prosperous.

When holidays arrived, there were many tourists from out of town, and the streets were quite lively.

But this liveliness could be very deceptive.

Many people saw the tourists and assumed that opening a shop would definitely be profitable.

Only after they actually opened the shop did they realize that the tourists were just passing through, not there for long-term consumption.

And the locals didn't have that much disposable income.

In the end, once rent, labor, and utilities were factored in, the books wouldn't balance.

It looked lively.

But once they actually started doing business, many people could even lose their shirts.

So, Jiang Li didn't think it would be hard to find a suitable flower shop.

The hard part was finding one where the location, renovation, and price were all just right.

However, he now had fifty million in Wang Yaoyao's exclusive consumption funds.

Pressure?

What was that?

On the other side, Wang Yaoyao finished the paperwork quickly.

The registration certificate, temporary license plate, and contract—Xiao Zhou had everything organized for her.

Wang Yaoyao hugged the stack of documents and walked to Jiang Li's side, still in a state of excitement.

She couldn't help it and gave Jiang Li another bear hug.

"Brother Jiang!"

She hugged him very tightly.

As if she were afraid that this Mercedes-Benz might suddenly wake up, realize it had been sold for a loss at ninety-nine, and then regret it on the spot.

Jiang Li was bumped back half a step by her.

"I've already given you the car, and you're still this excited?"

"Of course I'm excited."

Wang Yaoyao looked up at him, her eyes sparkling.

"This is my first car, after all."

As she spoke, she glanced at the white Mercedes-Benz again, her voice lowering a bit.

"And I noticed this car has quite a bit of space."

"Brother Jiang, do you want to find a place to try it out?"

When she said this, she deliberately licked her lips, looking incredibly alluring.

Jiang Li knew that this girl was starting to provide emotional value again.

As a Little Colorful Flag, Wang Yaoyao's professional skills were indeed strong.

"No rush."

Jiang Li wrapped his arm around Wang Yaoyao's waist and pulled her closer.

"I noticed you kept staring at the flowers from the delivery ceremony earlier."

"Do you like flowers?"

Wang Yaoyao was stunned for a moment.

She hadn't expected Jiang Li to notice that.

"Yeah."

She nodded, her expression suddenly filled with longing.

"I love flowers the most."

"When I was little, whenever I had pocket money, the first thing I would do was buy flowers."

"Sometimes I wouldn't even buy food because I wanted to save money for them."

She laughed a little at this point.

"I didn't know anything about varieties back then, I just thought flowers were pretty."

"Buying a small bunch and putting it in a cup could make me happy for days."

After listening, Jiang Li was basically certain.

The system's wish task probably wasn't just made up at random.

"That's perfect then."

"I happen to want to open a flower shop."

"You can help me keep an eye on it from now on."

Wang Yaoyao's expression froze.

"Huh?"

She didn't react for a second.

Jiang Li actually wanted to open a flower shop?

How did his train of thought turn so quickly? Is this what being rich is like?

He was just buying a car at the Car Dealership, and now it's a flower shop?

And if she had to help him keep an eye on the shop, did that mean she would have to go to the Gym less often?

Being a fitness instructor was tiring, but the hours were relatively flexible.

If she really had to watch the shop, she'd have to be there every day...

Wang Yaoyao felt a bit conflicted.

But this thought didn't last long before Wang Yaoyao manually dismissed it.

Jiang Li had just given her a Mercedes-Benz.

Never mind helping him watch a flower shop.

Even if she worked for free for a few years, it would be worth it!

Wang Yaoyao quickly nodded.

"Okay, Brother Jiang."

"I will take good care of the shop for you!"

Wang Yaoyao said it very loyally, almost with the intention of showing her loyalty.

Seeing her expression, Jiang Li guessed she had misunderstood.

She probably thought he wanted to open a shop and have her work there as a clerk or manager.

Jiang Li couldn't be bothered to explain.

Anyway, she would know what was going on in a moment.

"Then let's go."

Wang Yaoyao was stunned. "Go now?"

Jiang Li nodded. "Yeah, it's a good chance to try out your Mercedes-Benz."

Wang Yaoyao's eyes lit up instantly. "I'm driving?"

She actually really wanted to drive the car for a joyride, she was just afraid Jiang Li wouldn't dare to sit in it...

She didn't expect Jiang Li to trust her so much!

"Of course." Jiang Li smiled. "It's your car, who else would drive it?"

Wang Yaoyao nodded hurriedly, took the car keys, and was extremely careful when she sat in the driver's seat.

Jiang Li sat in the passenger seat and fastened his seatbelt.

Wang Yaoyao took a deep breath, and only then did she slowly drive the car out of the Car Dealership.

The white Mercedes-Benz drove all the way toward the commercial district in the center of Fanxing County.

Meanwhile.

In an agency shop in the city center.

Zhang Ling sat in a chair, her face anxious.

Sitting opposite her was a saleswoman in her twenties, with a name tag that read Wang Hui.

Zhang Ling looked at her, her tone already carrying a hint of pleading.

"Ms. Wang, is there really no way to sell the shop faster?"

"I'm really in a rush."

"The price can be lowered a bit more."

Wang Hui was also quite helpless.

She flipped through the information on her computer and sighed.

"Sister, it's not that I don't want to help you."

"It's very hard to rent out shops right now."

"Let alone sell them."

Zhang Ling pursed her lips.

"But my shop's renovation is still quite new."

"And the location isn't bad either."

Wang Hui nodded, but her tone was somewhat helpless.

"Your shop is indeed not bad."

"But the problem is, no one is willing to take it over right now."

"If it were a restaurant, it would be fine, at least there would be many people willing to take over."

"But yours is a flower shop."

She paused, her voice softening a little.

"A flower shop, while pretty, is pretty."

"But the earnings aren't stable."

"Especially in a small county, there really aren't that many people who buy flowers on a regular basis."

Zhang Ling lowered her head, her fingers gripping her bag strap tightly.

Of course she knew that.

If business were good, she wouldn't be in such a rush to sell.

Just then, a slight sound of braking came from outside.

A white Mercedes-Benz stopped in front of the agency shop.

Zhang Ling and Wang Hui both looked over subconsciously.

The car door opened.

Jiang Li stepped out of the passenger seat, his gaze falling on a transfer notice stuck on the agency's glass door.

[Flower shop for urgent sale, includes renovation, includes freezer and shelves, can be transferred in its entirety.]

Jiang Li looked at those words, his eyes brightening slightly.

"No way."

"Is this too much of a coincidence?"

"I was just getting drowsy and someone handed me a pillow?"
