184: Northern Wilderness Conference!

Hearing Lin Tianhai's words, the Lin Family Elders also actively offered suggestions.

"We can lower the entry fees and offer preferential tax policies."

Fifth Elder Lin Tianhuo was the first to speak, his fiery red beard trembling up and down with his excited tone, "For example, waiving rent for the first three years, halving taxes, and so on. I've seen many new cities do this when I traveled in Central Province."

Many Elders nodded in agreement.

Lin Tianhai was also quite satisfied with this suggestion. "Excellent. Let's temporarily keep Fifth Elder's suggestion and discuss its implementation later."

"Hehe, no problem, no problem." Fifth Elder was very happy that everyone was satisfied with his proposal, and he spoke repeatedly.

But the Grand Elder, seated in the main seat, slowly shook his head. Beneath his gray eyebrows, his eyes were as deep as an ancient well: "It's not enough. The Northern Wilderness Spirit Realm is newly established, and relying solely on preferential policies has limited appeal. We need more enticing conditions."

The hall immediately buzzed with discussion.

Third Elder Lin Tianzhu stroked his long beard and suggested, "How about adding a month of free access to Cultivation Immortal Caves?"

"Too conservative!" Sixth Elder Lin Tianshan's voice boomed like a bell. "We should hold a martial arts competition, with Spirit Stones and Magic Treasures as rewards for the winners! Our Human Race respects strength the most!"

"A martial arts competition is too expensive. It's better to develop unique industries first," Eighth Elder Lin Tianxuan said unhurriedly. "I've observed the surrounding terrain. To the east of the Northern Wilderness Spirit Realm, there's a mountain range rich in raw stones. My Lin Family can establish a stone gambling industry."

Arguments rose and fell, with many opinions, some seemingly feasible, others completely unworkable.

Lin Xuan sat quietly to the side, his fingers tapping rhythmically on the armrest, his eyes gleaming with contemplation.

When the arguments gradually subsided, Lin Xuan lightly coughed and stood up: "Father, Elders, I have an idea..."

Hearing this, the hall immediately quieted down.

Everyone's gaze involuntarily focused on this Young Lord who had repeatedly created miracles.

Ever since he led the Lin Family out of the Heavenly Dragon Dynasty, and transformed the Northern Barren Desert, every decision he made had more benefits than drawbacks for the Lin Family. No one in the Clan dared to underestimate the wisdom and courage of this young Young Lord anymore.

"Lin Xuan, just say it. There's no harm." Lin Tianhai was quite looking forward to what kind of suggestion his Genius son would offer.

Lin Xuan slowly stood up and walked to the center of the venue.

"We can hold a... Northern Wasteland Assembly."

Lin Xuan's voice was not loud, but every word was clear. He walked to the sand table in the center of the hall, lightly tapped it with his finger, and the model of the Northern Wasteland Emperor City on the sand table immediately magnified several times. "We can invite forces from all sides to participate, and during this time, hold a series of activities such as auctions, martial arts competitions, and Alchemy competitions."

Several Elders exchanged glances. Second Elder Lin Xuanji frowned and said, "Such assemblies are held in various regions. How can we highlight the unique characteristics of our Northern Wasteland?"

Lin Xuan's mouth curved slightly, and he took out an ancient Jade Slip from his embrace: "This is our unique characteristic—I have a remnant of an Imperial Rank Cultivation Technique here, which can be the grand finale item for the auction."

"Our unique characteristic is to attract Cultivators by offering some top-tier rare treasures."

"What?!"

The Grand Elder stood up abruptly, his chair toppling with a loud bang due to his sudden movement. The other Elders' expressions also changed. The Third Elder's teacup even fell directly to the ground, shattering into several pieces.

Imperial Rank Cultivation Techniques, those were treasures even Emperor-level forces regarded as precious!

Even though it was just a remnant, it was enough to make countless Cultivators madly scramble for it.

On the Xuan Tian Continent, a complete Imperial Rank Cultivation Technique could even trigger massive wars between countless forces!

"Young Lord, although this is only a remnant of an Imperial Rank Cultivation Technique, an Imperial Rank Cultivation Technique is still an Imperial Rank Cultivation Technique. Its value is still immense, and it's a foundational asset for every force. Do we really want to auction it off?"

"That's right, Young Lord. Although our Lin Family now has quite a few Imperial Rank Cultivation Techniques, we're not so extravagant as to casually auction off a remnant of an Imperial Rank Cultivation Technique."

Upon hearing this, the Elders all shook their heads. In their eyes, an Imperial Rank Cultivation Technique, even a remnant, should be preserved as a foundational asset for the Lin Family.

Lin Xuan seemed to have anticipated everyone's reaction. He calmly continued, "Elders, rest assured, it's just a mere remnant. It won't have any impact on my Lin Family."

"Moreover, if you're unwilling to part with something, you won't gain anything. If we don't offer some rare treasures, how can we have enough appeal to attract forces and Cultivators from all sides to our Northern Wilderness Spirit Realm?"

Hearing Lin Xuan's words, the Elders were momentarily unable to refute him.

Seeing that the Elders were silent, Lin Xuan continued, "Furthermore, my Lin Family must not only offer some rare treasures as bait, but also promise to hold a large-scale auction every year, of the same standard as the first one, and even hold a Northern Wasteland Assembly every ten years."

"Only in this way can we completely establish the Lin Family's reputation, thereby continuously attracting Cultivators from various places to the Northern Wilderness Spirit Realm, and continuously generate enormous profits for my Lin Family."

Upon hearing this, the Lin Family Elders were also amazed by their Young Lord's boldness.

"In addition, the rewards for the Alchemy Grand Competition and the Martial Dao Grand Competition should not be meager. I suggest that my Lin Family can offer some high-grade treasures that are sufficient to attract a large number of Cultivators to participate."

Lin Xuan then changed the subject, "As long as this assembly is held grandly, the reputation of the Northern Wilderness Spirit Realm will naturally be established. At that time, coupled with various preferential policies, we won't have to worry about a lack of Cultivators coming."

"Moreover, during this period, my Lin Family won't gain nothing. The income generated by my Lin Family's shops, inns, etc., during the auction and the large flow of people during the assembly will also not be low. We can also auction off the usage rights of Spiritual Veins and blessed lands within the Northern Wilderness Spirit Realm that my Lin Family doesn't value..."

"And many other things can be planned. It just depends on how my Lin Family plans it. In short..."

"Others might make a small profit, but my Lin Family will definitely not lose."

Lin Tianhai took a deep breath, his eyes gleaming: "Lin Xuan, are you sure our Lin Family wants to offer so many precious treasures as prizes and auction items?"

"If you're unwilling to part with something, you won't gain anything," Lin Xuan said, his gaze firm. "Besides, it's just a remnant and a small amount of Medicinal Pills, which won't affect my Lin Family's core interests."

The hall fell silent again, everyone digesting Lin Xuan's astonishing proposal.

After a long while, Lin Tianhai suddenly slammed the table, his voice like thunder: "Good! Let's do it! Immediately begin preparations; the 'First Northern Wasteland Assembly' will be held in three months!"

As the Clan Chief made the final decision, the entire deliberation hall immediately became lively.

Afterward, the Lin Family members began discussing various matters and arrangements.

The entire assembly lasted for more than half a day before all matters were finalized.

At the end of the meeting, Lin Tianhai quickly began assigning tasks: "Third Elder, you are responsible for venue setup; Sixth Elder, you lead people to promote in various regions; Grand Elder, you oversee reception matters..."

After the meeting, Lin Xuan ascended the city wall of Northern Wasteland Emperor City alone.

The sun was setting, and the afterglow cast a golden glow over the brand new city.

On the distant horizon, flickering lights could already be seen—those were the temporary dwellings spontaneously built by Loose Cultivators who had heard the news.
