213: One thought lasts forever

Weaponry surrounded Qin Chi, his sharp aura growing more intense; when it first formed, the weapon shadows around him were still, but once everything appeared and fully materialized, the weapon shadows around him began to slowly rotate, with Qin Chi at the center, like a formation of ten thousand weapons, constantly turning.

At the same time, Qin Jin’s spirit and body began to transform.

The transformation occurred naturally, without Qin Jin needing to control its direction; his spirit remained still amidst the change, merely observing the Spirit Ruins, observing the fourth Cave Heaven.

Eternal Cave Heaven!

Looking at it, the Cave Heaven stood at the extreme north of the Spirit Ruins, with a black and white divine tree inside, its branches and leaves flourishing, as if supporting the heavens and earth.

At this moment, above this divine tree of the Cave Heaven, on one of its slender branches, nestled among the leaves, a fruit had actually grown.

The fruit was translucent white, radiating vitality, though still somewhat ethereal; its color seemed close to the white flowing around the divine tree.

This was precisely the change that occurred in the Eternal Cave Heaven after the Treasure Technique of the Cave Heaven took shape.

For Qin Chi, this represented an opportunity to use the Treasure Technique of the Cave Heaven!

If he needed it, if he was injured in battle, with a single thought, as this fruit shattered and melted away, his injuries would vanish, and he would return to his peak state before being injured.

It seemed ordinary.

However...

After the Treasure Technique took shape, Qin Jin had already understood it during his perusal.

This was not self-healing or recovery, but a momentary regression based on himself!

[Regression]!

[Eternal Treasure Technique — Ancient]

The mere word “Regression” showed its extraordinary nature; currently, there was only one fruit in the Eternal Cave Heaven, and the time it could regress was extremely short, but according to the Cave Heaven’s doctrine, as Qin Jin himself continuously grew and the Cave Heaven grew and expanded, when the divine tree was covered in fruits, the power it could unleash would be unimaginable.

Even now, if he truly encountered a life-or-death crisis, he might be able to use this Treasure Technique to gain an extra chance.

And this was only the first direction of the Eternal Treasure Technique.

It should be noted that this divine tree had two colors: black and white.

The white fruit related to the ancient, to the past.

And the [black fruit] that had not yet appeared on the divine tree now related to the future!

According to the information that appeared in Qin Jin’s mind, the usage of the black fruit was similar to that of the white fruit, both activated by shattering, and its function was to borrow power!

“Borrow power from my future self to amplify!”

Black and white, past and future, a thought for eternity, three lines united.

Among the four Cave Heavens in the Spirit Ruins, each Treasure Technique was extraordinary, but the moment Qin Jin understood the information related to this Eternal Treasure Technique, he immediately thought of many things, hence the noticeable change in his expression.

This was a Cave Heaven with infinite potential; its current utility was limited, but as he himself continued to grow, in the future, when this Cave Heaven reached its peak, it might become a key.

A key related to time!

Time is almost one of the most mysterious forces in the world; countless extraordinary beings have bowed before it; years pass by, and how many can withstand the erosion of time?

Ancient and modern, this Eternal Cave Heaven had an extremely high concept.

On the divine tree, the translucent white fruit emitted a soft glow, swaying with the branches.

In Qin Jin’s perception, with the mutual assistance of the Cave Heavens and the flow of spiritual energy, while the Eternal Cave Heaven was continuously consolidating and growing, on another branch above, a new fruit began to form.

Judging by its color, it was precisely the black fruit related to the [future].

“This Cave Heaven, this Treasure Technique, will surely become my strongest trump card.”

“Borrowing power from my future self—”

Qin Jin’s eyes were tightly shut, his thoughts lingering: “Once the first black fruit forms, how far into the future will I be able to borrow power from? What realm will I be in then?”

“According to the information generated when the Eternal Treasure Technique formed, this is a truly [forbidden technique], and one must be extra careful when using it.”

“I wonder if this Treasure Technique will have any other effects.”

“Such an extraordinary Treasure Technique must be inextricably linked to the foundation of the Cave Heaven, the longevity seed.”

“The longevity seed is a must-have for extraordinary disciples of the Green Wood Temple; could it be that the one I used, after long years, also underwent some changes because of this?”

“I can go to the Green Wood Temple Master to verify this matter.”

Amidst surging thoughts, Qin Jin’s state of mind completely calmed down, and he reined in his spirit.

His primal power was increasing, his physique was continuously strengthening; each transformation, for a Martial Artist, was a step into a new realm.

Time passed.

In the empty Weapon Realm.

At a certain moment, the slowly rotating weapon shadows surrounding Qin Jin once again became still.

As if frozen, all weapons fell silent, and at the same time, they disintegrated with a roar, turning into pure power and light, integrating into Qin Jin’s body.

Qin Jin’s aura surged dramatically; a violent whirlwind erupted around him, raging within this Weapon Realm!

With a single thought, all anomalies dispersed.

Qin Jin stood rooted to the spot; after a few breaths, he suddenly opened his eyes, and within them, a wondrous sight was reflected, brilliant as stars, his aura sharp and his edge fully revealed!

The current Qin Jin was like a freshly forged divine sword, ready to contend with all weapons under heaven.

“The Seventh Transformation!”

Qin Chi raised his hand, stretched it out, then clenched it into a fist; under his own control, he “heard” the continuous surging sound of primal power within his physique and felt his own changes.

“Nine transformations, and one can reach the peak of the Grandmaster Realm, to glimpse the path of the Martial Saint.”

“But with the help of the Divine Martial Furnace, I gained an extra transformation, allowing me to lay an incredibly extraordinary foundation before becoming a Martial Saint, undergoing ten transformations.”

“Nine and ten have always had a great disparity.”

Thoughts flowed.

The professional panel appeared before Qin Chi.

His gaze fell on the various professions above, finally focusing on the two professions that constituted his main combat power.

[Cultivator]: Cave Heaven Realm [First Cave Heaven: Enlightenment Grotto-Heaven]

[Second Cave Heaven: Divine Advent Cave Heaven]

[Third Cave Heaven: True Dragon Cave Heaven]

[Fourth Cave Heaven: Eternal Cave Heaven]

Special Physique: Myriad Spirit Body]

[Special Physique: Weapon-Containing Body]

Qin Jin’s gaze focused on one spot above.

The Myriad Spirit Body was what he obtained after being tempered by the divine light of heaven and earth; after that, he became more compatible with the spiritual energy of the Heavenly Vault.

And now, a new [Special Physique] had appeared.

“Is it because of the influence of cultivating the Weapon Forging Manual?”

Qin Jin’s expression was slightly serious, and in an instant, he thought of the reason: “As expected of the legacy left by the Martial God; through continuous cultivation, it also subtly changes oneself, forming a special physique that conforms to the Heavenly Vault system.”

Thoughts flowed, Qin Jin shifted his gaze to another profession.

[Martial Artist: Grandmaster Realm]

[Primal Index: 93412.35]

[Number of Transformations: 6]

[Additional Transformations: 1]

“Only three more transformations left.”

Qin Jin’s gaze was distant: “At this first stop, Mitian Dojo, I have gained a lot; on this path to Martial Saint, I will organize myself and complete the last three transformations.”

“By then—”

“I will reunite with old acquaintances as a Martial Saint!”

Thoughts flowed, and his aura was revealed; at this moment, the originally silent and vast Weapon Realm subtly fluctuated, and a forging hammer appeared from the void not far in front of Qin Jin.

The appearance of this forging hammer was identical to the one that appeared in the second stage, except its size was much smaller, only palm-sized.

After it appeared, it struck down in the void, and light flowed, forming a gateway.

“After obtaining the Weapon Forging Manual and completing the secret transmission, is this a sign that I can leave?”

Qin Jin understood everything in his heart and, without hesitation, stepped towards the gateway.

After taking a few steps, he paused slightly, because the forging hammer, after opening the gateway, did not leave; its hammer head was facing Qin Jin, looking eager to try something.

Qin Jin raised an eyebrow: “You still want to try?”

As he spoke, the forging hammer seemed to truly understand, shaking its head twice.

“Then come on.”

Qin Jin responded.

This was clearly a continuation of the second stage; if it didn’t work, he would just wait a bit longer, but if it succeeded, it meant he still had room for improvement here, so Qin Jin naturally had no reason to refuse, standing still and waiting quietly.

Upon receiving Qin Jin’s consent, the forging hammer fluctuated, and at the very front of its body, ripples like water waves spread out; it flashed in place and then disappeared directly, reappearing in front of Qin Jin, striking down towards Qin Jin’s chest!

With this hammer strike, Qin Jin’s spirit clearly perceived the continuous influx of battle and blood auras, as if trying to pull him to some place, but that was all; under Qin Jin’s gaze, the forging hammer struck his chest, but he felt nothing; it passed through Qin Jin’s body as if transparent.

Qin Jin turned his head, and the forging hammer paused.

One person and one hammer stared at each other for several breaths, then, under Qin Jin’s gaze, the forging hammer soared upwards and disappeared into the sky.

“Still not working.”

After gently shaking his head, Qin Jin stepped towards the gateway.

With a flash of ripples, he had already returned to the canyon.

As his feet touched the solid ground, the first sensation that filled his mind was the aroma of delicious food wafting to his nose.

Looking around, within the canyon, an array of dishes was now laid out, excellent in color, aroma, and taste; nearby, the stooped figure of an old man stood still, gazing at the tianshen divine weapon.

This place involved the Martial God’s legacy and was the core of the Mitian Dojo; anyone who could appear here must be a powerful individual of the Mitian Dojo, so Qin Jin naturally wouldn’t be dismissive because of appearances; he respectfully performed a martial arts salute and said, “Qin Jin greets Senior.”

Hearing the voice, the old man slowly turned his head, his voice ancient: “I am merely a gatekeeper, not worthy of being called Senior.”

“Qin Jin.”

He pronounced the name: “Since our Mitian Dojo established this secret transmission, you are the fastest to complete everything and return.”

“First, eat something to replenish yourself.”

“Congenital Realm, Grandmaster Realm, with primal power to sustain, not eating for a short period is not an issue, but we humans ultimately have desires for food.”

Upon hearing this, Qin Jin hesitated for a moment, then thanked him and, without further delay, began to taste the food directly.

A Martial Artist with firm will always keeps his word, and Qin Jin was not a wishy-washy character.

The meals prepared here, from raw materials to preparation methods, were undoubtedly specially formulated and could already be called specialized [Martial Dao Medicinal Cuisine].

After tasting, the old man stood in front, quietly gazing at the tianshen divine weapon.

Qin Jin looked at his back, thoughts flowing, and asked, “Senior, how much longer until Su Jinxiu and the others come out?”

“At least ten days, at most a month.”

The old man turned around and looked at Qin Jin: “They are the norm; I have never seen anyone like you, who can master the Weapon Forging Manual and complete the cultivation so quickly.”

“Only four days have passed since you first entered the Sky Spine.”

“You must have completed another transformation, right?”

“Otherwise, this time would be even shorter.”

His cloudy eyes held admiration and a hint of astonishment.

If the failure of the second stage represented an extraordinary physique, then leaving the Weapon Realm so quickly represented extraordinary [comprehension].

To understand a legacy, to master a legacy, comprehension is an extremely crucial factor; this latent attribute, which differs for everyone, is difficult to quantify, but the specific differences are clear at a glance.

As the old man’s words fell, Qin Jin was about to speak.

Just then, in front of the tianshen divine weapon, ripples spread, and a figure appeared.

Mitian Dojo, Grand Master Ji Yuan!

The moment he appeared, his gaze immediately focused on Qin Jin, with a clear look of complexity in his eyes.

“Qin Jin,” he said directly.

“Senior Ji,” Qin Jin responded, his voice somewhat surprised; he could clearly see the fluctuation in the other party’s expression; such a powerful individual, with an extremely stable state of mind, should not easily show all emotions on his face.

“What’s wrong?” Qin Jin asked subconsciously.

“What do you need?” Ji Yuan asked directly.

“What?” Qin Jin’s eyes narrowed.

When an absolutely significant figure stands before one and asks this question, the scene seems extremely bizarre.

Qin Jin’s thoughts raced, and he finally said, “Senior, if there’s anything, please just say it.”

The complex expression in Ji Yuan’s eyes faded.

He slowly spoke, looking at the old man not far away, and introduced: “This is my Martial Uncle, and also the previous Grand Master of our Mitian Dojo.”

“He’s dying.”

The moment he heard “dying,” Qin Chi immediately reacted.

Ji Yuan’s voice was calm: “I do not wish to see Martial Uncle pass away; I heard that the Gaia Planet within the Federation has a unique planetary divine ability, extremely special, with a chance for rebirth from death.”

“These past few days, I have been working tirelessly for this matter, hoping to secure a spot for Martial Uncle, to give him one last chance to fight.”

“However—”

“I didn’t expect that after several efforts, a familiar name would enter my sight.”

He looked at Qin Jin: “Star God Chosen, Martial Abyss Qin Jin.”

“That chance for rebirth from death is in your hometown; such a special planetary divine ability was forged by the Star God who designated you as a General.”

“Qin Jin.”

At this point, his voice became a bit more solemn, and he posed the initial question.

“What do you need?”

After a few words, the old man beside him also looked at Qin Jin, with a look of surprise in his eyes.

He was not surprised by the chance for extended life, but by Qin Jin’s identity.

Qin Jin already understood Ji Yuan’s meaning.

Under his gaze, he pondered for a moment, then opened his mouth and said, “Senior Ji, our Lei Yu Star’s planetary divine ability is ‘Life Hidden in Calamity’; I cannot decide who undergoes the tribulation.”

Ji Yuan listened quietly.

Qin Jin’s voice was calm: “Since Senior has been working for this, then you must have already investigated; such a planetary divine ability that truly offers a chance for extended life, even if it harbors great danger, will still be pursued by many.”

“Precisely because of this, rules must exist; from the initial activation of the planetary divine ability, the Federation has had corresponding rules; without rules, nothing can be accomplished; if there are no restrictions, it will definitely cause great turmoil.”
