5: Lingtao Civilization

In the lower-right region of the Abiso Star Sector, there existed a Spacefaring Civilization.

This time, the fledgling Ye Feng decided to set his first target on this primary Spacefaring Civilization.

This civilization was named the Lingtao Civilization.

Ye Feng piloted his blood wolf; he had already performed a new upgrade on the blood wolf, coating its surface with a layer of optical automatic simulation imaging film.

This film was an upgraded version of the Blue Star screen panel for the starry sky.

It could perform image projection across the entire warship through deep space background data calculation, making the image on the warship's surface perfectly consistent with the deep space background.

If one were to observe it optically, one would find nothing there.

Through this technology, Ye Feng achieved optical stealth for the entire blood wolf warship.

Underneath this layer of optical stealth film existed an electromagnetic signal absorption layer, which could completely absorb all electromagnetic signals and convert them into energy for the warship.

Relying on this method, it also achieved electromagnetic stealth.

These were all methods researched by Ye Feng himself; the civilizations in this world always pursued higher firepower and more powerful energy defenses, with the depth of development for technical application in all details not being that advanced.

Relying on the technology he researched himself, Ye Feng's blood wolf became an optical and electromagnetic ghost in the starry sky.

However, if faced with means such as gravity detection radar, dark energy fluctuation radar, or quantum radar, his warship would still be easily discovered.

After arriving at the edge of the Lingtao Civilization's territory, Ye Feng did not take immediate action.

He found a location suspected to be a commercial lane, hid behind a meteorite, and began to wait.

In the starry sky, there were not many safe star lanes that could be used for commerce, but there were not few either.

Because the defenses of commercial spaceships were relatively weak, they focused on the transportation of resources and could not balance too many things.

In the starry sky, there were many dangerous things such as high-energy rays, meteorite turbulence, dark stars, roaming stars, and high-speed space debris.

They could all threaten the safety of starships.

Dark stars referred to dead, silent celestial bodies that had completely lost energy reactions; they also drifted randomly in the universe, and you might not even discover them until they were close.

Besides them, there were various types of extremely dangerous environments; for example, areas covered by black holes possessed super-gravitational fields.

Routes that could be used for commercial and safe transport at the closest distance were still relatively few.

Flying randomly in other star regions made it very easy to encounter danger.

When Ye Feng's blood wolf activated high-speed mode, it would turn on the magnetic energy barrier on the warship to defend against collisions with these dangerous things.

Many places that looked pitch black to you might hide meteorites, tiny high-speed debris streams, or even other unknown things.

After waiting for three days, he finally saw a gorgeous small space cruise ship pass by.

On this thing, there were definitely powerful figures of the Lingtao Civilization, because beside this small cruise ship, there were surprisingly one medium-sized and three small warships escorting it.

Seeing this situation, Ye Feng did not open fire immediately, but came to the platform outside the warship.

One of the special abilities granted to him by the Indestructible Body was that he could survive directly in the space vacuum environment without the need for oxygen.

He quietly let the invisible blood wolf drift forward.

Doing this was simple; it only required the blood wolf's mechanical arm to continuously throw a few meteorites backward.

Anyway, he was located in the meteorite belt, so he didn't worry about the other party discovering any abnormalities.

The blood wolf intersected with the other party's direction of travel and gradually approached.

Then Ye Feng raised the Blade Bow in his hand, took out three arrows equipped with powerful explosives, and shot them forward.

The arrows suddenly disappeared, having been transferred by Ye Feng through a Micro Wormhole.

He could only transfer one by himself, but with the computing power assistance of the dark plane computer, he could transfer the attacks of three arrows at once.

Three sharp arrows appeared directly near the main thrusters of the three small military warships.

The arrows collided with their thrusters, and three huge explosions immediately occurred in space; the main thrusters of the three military warships were immediately destroyed.

But as military warships, reliability was the most critical factor.

These military warships, in addition to the main thrusters, also had at least three backup small thrusters, which could also help the warship move at critical moments.

But Ye Feng again attacked continuously with Micro-Wormhole Technology, and several arrows completely destroyed the thrusters on one side of them, leaving only the other side.

This resulted in the force direction changing after these small thrusters were activated, causing the three military warships to immediately lose the ability to steer correctly; like a ship out of control in the sea, they drifted uncontrollably away from the cruise ship they were escorting.

At the same time, the blood wolf also launched continuous laser strikes at close range, destroying the other party's electromagnetic cannons, laser cannons, and other weapons.

He did not seek to destroy these three Lingtao Civilization warships, only to heavily damage the other party and make them lose combat capability.

After completing the strike on the escort forces, Ye Feng's last arrow hit the thruster of the fleeing interstellar cruise ship, causing its course to also spiral out of control.

In the universe, if a spaceship lost power, it would still travel at its original speed due to the vacuum environment.

But its speed could not increase, and it could not escape.

After ending this wave of ambush, Ye Feng piloted the blood wolf and chased after them.

But he still underestimated the importance of this cruise ship; on those three warships, there were actually star mechs capable of fighting in the starry sky.

They deployed more than thirty units.

Moreover, nearly five more advanced mechs appeared on this cruise ship, and they surrounded the advancing blood wolf together.

After the blood wolf opened fire, its optical stealth was no longer as effective.

Ye Feng slightly read the energy data of these mechs and discovered that they were actually mechs driven by nuclear fission reactors.

This civilization had a special technology that directly converted nuclear fission energy into electrical energy.

This technology was not rare in Ye Feng's Boke Civilization, but in the Lingtao Civilization, which was only a primary Spacefaring Civilization, it was very rare.

After all, this type of technology could be considered a relatively major energy application technology even among primary cosmic-level civilizations.

Ye Feng had no intention of training combat experience with these mechs.

He only wanted a quick victory!

So Ye Feng once again used Micro-Wormhole Technology to augment his arrow attacks, one arrow per hit, all striking their nuclear fission energy devices, blowing these mechs up one by one; the entire universe staged huge fireworks of nuclear fission running out of control!

After solving these people, the blood wolf came behind the small interstellar cruise ship and used several huge mechanical arms that extended out to clamp onto this interstellar cruise ship.

But Ye Feng did not go up immediately; instead, he activated a communication interference device he had built himself, shielding the interstellar cruise ship's communications, and then, under the gaze of the three military warships that had lost power, let the blood wolf push this cruise ship and disappear into the depths of the starry sky.

Ye Feng guessed that there must be important figures on this cruise ship, and if he didn't leave, he would definitely attract a large number of large fleets belonging to the Lingtao Civilization.

In the interstellar era, cosmic resources were abundant, and the gap in power between various civilizations did not lie in the number of warships, but in the level of technology.

After all, in terms of industrial manufacturing capability, as long as the technology was realized, couldn't one build as many warships as one wanted?

The star region where this Lingtao Civilization was located was not lacking in resources like the Boke Nebula.

Ye Feng had no interest in having an interstellar war with the Lingtao Civilization!
