135: Daxia, are you crazy? How dare you sell this?

Chapter 135: Da Xia, are you crazy? You dare to sell this stuff?

It was as if a nationwide trend of cleaning up trash and caring for the environment was sweeping through Da Xia.

In this small city, a similar trend had recently emerged.

They also wanted to clean up the Eagle Nation's trash, which meant those greedy 'Capitalists', and sweep them all away.

These 'parasites' who sucked the blood of ordinary people should have been hung on lampposts to dry long ago.

At this moment,

Buller and Parker were not leading this group, and this group didn't need anyone to lead them. Everyone took to the streets of their own accord, seemingly 'coincidentally' shouting various slogans.

No parades, no demonstrations.

Everyone seemed to be speaking loudly, only the 'echoing' voices were a bit louder.

"Capitalists must also pay taxes, we don't want to be the 'minority'."

"This is not a country controlled by 'Capital'!"

"I earn 50,000 usd a year and pay 10,000 in taxes, while Capitalists earn 10 million usd a year and pay 1,000 in taxes. This is intolerable!"

"The entire Eagle Nation relies on 99.9% of ordinary people at the bottom to support the 0.1% of Capitalist elites. Is the Eagle Nation a 'monarchy'?"

"..."

These 'shocking' and bold statements were shouted one after another in the crowd, and then received widespread approval, with many passersby even joining in.

After all, they might not fully agree with 'socialism', or perhaps they weren't very interested in theories like 'Capitalist exploitation of the masses'.

But faced with such slogans, even the most stubborn old white man would nod in agreement.

Because they might describe these theoretical doctrines as 'illusory', or perhaps consider them to be complete brainwashing or unrealistic ideas.

But everyone has to pay taxes, so why do those who earn more pay less in taxes? This concerns the interests of every ordinary person, so who can remain unmoved?

This is also why this grand demonstration did not require the 'organizational leadership' of Parker and Buller.

On one hand, it was due to the experience from last time.

If Buller were to be arrested and thrown into prison again, it would be a huge blow to the organization that had just barely been established.

The second point is that these people didn't need to be mobilized at all. Every word from every person among them was absolutely the most moving, a point that everyone genuinely wanted to change.

That is, why?

Are Capitalists inherently superior to ordinary people? Why do they pay less tax on tens of millions of usd than an ordinary hardworking person?

This dissatisfaction swept through the entire small city in a short period of time. Many people who were originally uninterested in this inexplicable 'organization' enthusiastically joined the shouting crowd.

Even many people started singing songs.

"Big saber, cut towards the heads of the Capitalists!"

Here.

Livermore City Hall.

As the 'dense' crowd approached this location, bursts of singing had already reached inside the City Hall, causing many staff members to turn their heads.

Nick Smith, the executive sitting in his office, suddenly frowned.

"Why is there singing all of a sudden? And this song..."

Why did the melody of this song sound stranger and stranger the more he listened? Even the faint lyrics made him feel a different kind of familiarity.

It seemed to make him restless and uneasy.

Just then, as the crowd was very close to his office, Nick Smith finally heard the song clearly.

It wasn't English, but a long passage of French. Fortunately, he could roughly understand its meaning.

'Arise, ye wretched of the earth.'

'...'

Hearing this song, Nick Smith immediately slammed his hand on the table: "Are they crazy? How dare they sing such a song here?"

Are you tired of living? How dare you sing the Internationale in a Capitalist country?

If this got out, how could he, the executive, get 'campaign funding'? Without the support of Capitalists, how could he run for state senator? And in retirement, how could he become a high-level executive at a pharmaceutical group to make money?

It not only cut off his financial path but also his 'official' career. They were simply his enemies.

This was no longer an ordinary protest demonstration; he had to hit hard.

"Come, follow me to stop these 'troublemakers' who are illegally invading our city of Livermore!"

Nick Smith put a 'Glock 26 pistol' on his waist, fully loaded the magazine, and walked out.

In his mind, the image of a person appeared, a young black man.

It was Buller, who had been arrested and detained for a good week or two last time.

Smith was certain that this was again the work of this guy.

He had made all the preparations.

If there was no direct evidence to convict him, then he would have his subordinates, under the pretext of 'protective alert to prevent public disorder,' pretend to misunderstand and severely injure or even kill the 'suspect' organizing the protest.

After all, a 'black man' appearing in such a densely populated area might be planning some heinous crime, and the flag he was holding might be some hidden weapon.

Their on-the-spot killing would be nothing more than standard procedure.

Thereby indirectly defusing this 'highly threatening' protest and nipping it in the bud.

However.

As Nick Smith had just walked out of the City Hall, before he could even approach the protesting crowd that was singing various 'workers' songs.

He suddenly noticed that this crowd didn't even have a proper organizer.

And as they came out, these people simply dispersed, chatting with each other, as if they were 'sightseeing' here.

They left in twos and threes towards a certain direction.

Several subordinates looked at him blankly, seemingly asking: "Who should we arrest?"

"Citizens, what are you doing here?"

Nick Smith remained silent for a long time, then helplessly forced out a sentence, looking at the dense crowd before him.

He had scanned the crowd for a long time but couldn't find that 'black man'.

Hearing this.

"Mr. Smith, this is not a protest demonstration, so we don't need to apply."

"This is a public place, there's no rule saying we can't sing occasionally, is there? Does this place belong to your City Hall's private property now?"

"I just want Capitalists to pay more taxes. Does this violate the Eagle Nation's 'Constitution'? Does the executive we voted for not even approve of such behavior?"

"Does the City Hall want to infringe upon our 'freedom'... or does Mr. Smith not allow us to chat? Not allow us to take a walk?"

Dozens of seemingly 'ordinary citizens' aimed their fire at him at this moment!

It was like a magical attack hitting Nick Smith, as if anyone who dared to stop the protest would be 'condemned by thousands'.

And he dared not refute it. These big labels of 'freedom,' 'human rights,' and 'constitution' were even more irresistible than feminism or vegetarianism.

More importantly, he didn't know whose trouble to look for.

Without a target, he couldn't possibly arrest all nearly a thousand people here, could he? The entire city's prisons and detention centers couldn't accommodate such a large number of people.

Even the bullets in their magazines weren't enough for half a bullet per person.

He returned to the City Hall feeling very frustrated, hearing the songs outside gradually fade away again. Nick Smith gritted his teeth: "Don't let me catch you... that damned black man!"

These people are getting more and more out of hand, and their momentum is growing stronger and stronger!!

They're almost planting red flags on top of their City Hall. What exactly do you want to do?

Moreover, the goal of these people was clearly not their city of Livermore; the City Hall was just a place they passed through.

Their destination is west??

Nick Smith stared at the map, and his heart suddenly trembled: "They're going to San Francisco? Are these people crazy?"

Going a hundred kilometers west from Livermore, crossing several cities, would lead to the true heart of the Bay Area, San Francisco!

He couldn't understand what kind of madman would choose to go to a place like San Francisco to spread such absurd 'theories'.

The Capitalists in that place were not so gentle in their methods.

That's right.

Buller and Parker's goal was for this team to walk through several cities along the way, gather enough people, and then reach San Francisco, the heart of the Bay Area.

This unstoppable team's first target: San Francisco!!

The ultimate goal was all Capitalist classes.

Perhaps they could be called 'stupid', but at least taking action was enough.

The thing they feared most was not their own sacrifice, but if the world remained like a stagnant pool after they died, that would be 'dying with unclosed eyes'.

This group of people enthusiastically rushed towards San Francisco, while on the other side.

Regarding the atrocities of the war there, despite the media groups' full efforts to suppress information, a large amount of information was still leaked.

They controlled the media, they controlled print media, but the emerging mobile internet clearly hadn't been deeply involved yet.

Even on international internet media channels like Twitter and Facebook, a large number of private reports about Gaza were being released daily.

Especially within Da Xia's internet, their reach was even more limited, and these reports flowing out on a large scale naturally influenced other countries.

The Eagle Nation was furious about this, as these messages seemed endless.

"Why do you only report on such things?"

This was the thought of almost all Jewish media!

More critically, the Pentagon discovered an outrageous thing.

A large number of weapon equipment found in the Gaza Strip were actually stamped with the emblem '732'. What did this number mean?

Even if this point wasn't clarified, the CIA actually found in intelligence from Persia and Saudi Arabia that these two guys were supplying ballistic missiles to Gaza and the Houthis.

Where did these two countries get ballistic missiles!?

Who sold them?

Does it even need guessing!

So, at a meeting, the Eagle Nation first erupted in anger, pointing at Da Xia and cursing: "Are you crazy? You even dare to sell this stuff?"

(This section was heavily censored and had to be changed like this, it's exhausting.)

(PS: Second update, it's the end of the month, so if you have monthly votes, please give them! They're about to expire! Thank you!)
