29: Fox White's Power

After the IV drip finished, White Fox pulled out the needle himself. Watching the blood flow from the back of his hand, he waited a moment before pressing down with a cotton ball to stop the bleeding.

The Male Fox Beastman rose from the stone bed.

Just then, this Cave that went unvisited for years received more beastmen visitors.

White Fox stepped out of the Cave and, unsurprisingly, saw Hu Li's family.

There were only ten Females in Stone Village. As a native of Stone Village, even if he didn't want to know about these Females, he would passively learn a thing or two.

Hu Li was a vengeful Female. Moreover, his family and Hu Li's family had clashed more than once in the past two days.

Wearing a thin beast skin skirt, White Fox looked up at the group of uninvited guests and asked, "What are you doing at my home?"

Hu Li crossed her arms and squinted at White Fox, sizing him up.

No matter how many times she looked, she still thought he was handsome. Even if he was "damaged goods," he was still the most handsome Male in Stone Village.

No wonder Hu Zi couldn't stop thinking about him.

However, since there was such a good thing as the fate-severing fruit, why should she give such a handsome Male to Hu Zi? If she just took White Fox for herself, couldn't she bully him however she wanted in the future?

"You guys, restrain him!" Hu Li commanded her beast husbands.

Hu Li had nine beast husbands. Four of them rushed forward, and several of them were Beast Warriors with beast markings!

"What do you want?!" White Fox struggled as they pinned his limbs forcefully against the stone wall.

Hu Li approached step by step, weighing the dried fate-severing fruit in her hand.

"White Fox, you're just a Fox Beastman who has never awakened and isn't even a Beast Warrior. Don't bother struggling."

A Male pinned White Fox's head down. White Fox glared at Hu Li. "What exactly do you want? Let me go!"

"What? Feeding you something good!"

Hu Li pushed the fate-severing fruit toward White Fox's mouth. White Fox's instinct and wild nature as a Fox Beastman told him that he must not eat this!

"White Fox, your female master doesn't want you anyway. This is a fate-severing fruit. Eat it, and we'll help you break your partner bond."

White Fox's pupils constricted. "Get away! I don't want to break the bond! All of you, get out!"

White Fox began to struggle. The four Male Beastmen holding him could barely keep him down!

Hu Li quickly took a step back. "Haven't you guys eaten?! You can't even control one unawakened Male?! Go, all of you!"

Hu Li's nine Males suppressed White Fox together!

Hu Li felt a bit nervous seeing the scene before her.

What was going on? Wasn't White Fox just an ordinary beastman who hadn't awakened? How could he be this strong?

No, he was just a sickly waste. She had nine beast husbands, and several were Beast Warriors. There was no way they couldn't control White Fox!

Hu Li approached again, but just then, White Fox seemed to go berserk.

He broke free from the nine Male Beastmen single-handedly. When the nine Male Beastmen were sent flying, they even knocked Hu Li over!

"Ah!" Hu Li was knocked to the ground by her own beast husband. She rubbed her waist and then saw White Fox pick up the fate-severing fruit from beside her.

Hu Li felt extremely surprised and terrified.

Nine of her beast husbands couldn't control him? How could White Fox be so strong?

"You... what do you want to do?"

The Male's cold eyes fell on Hu Li. Hu Li said nervously, "What are you all doing? Protect me, quickly!"

White Fox's figure was still skin and bones, and his beast skin skirt hung loosely on him, yet it still couldn't hide his startling beauty. "It is because Stone Village raised me that I have always endured as much as possible all these years."

He walked toward Hu Li step by step. "But why do you all keep pushing me?!"

Just as several Male Beastmen rushed toward him, he grabbed Hu Li!

Hu Li screamed, "Wait, wait! White Fox, what are you doing? I'm a Female. You want to hurt me? Aren't you afraid of being punished by the village?"

"What am I afraid of?" White Fox's eyes were icy. "What do I have left to fear?"

"Just as you said. My Female doesn't want me anymore. She abandoned me once and is going to abandon me a second time. But even so, I can't bear to break our partner bond."

"What... what do I have left to fear!!!"

Hu Li's nine beast husbands didn't dare move because their female master, Hu Li, was held captive.

White Fox looked at the nine Males with cold, mocking eyes.

"White Fox! White Fox! Spare me!!" Hu Li had no idea White Fox was actually this powerful; she couldn't even budge in his grip. "I was wrong, I'll never mess with you again, please let me go!"

Hu Li became even more terrified and quickly said, "Besides, this fruit isn't mine. It was Hu Zi—Hu Zi gave it to me!"

There was no real friendship between Hu Li and Hu Zi. If there was, it was just a superficial "plastic sisterhood."

Betraying each other was so easy!

"Hu Li, you shouldn't have provoked me."

With a cold face, he pinched Hu Li's chin and forced the fate-severing fruit down her throat. Hu Li struggled violently, and her beast husbands looked on with terrifying expressions but didn't dare step forward.

The beast markings totems on Hu Li's body emerged, almost all of them being fox totems.

"No, don't!" Hu Li screamed. "Don't destroy my totems, please!"

She had nine beast husbands, all of whom she had worked hard to bond with over the years. She liked every one of them, and it would break her heart to see any of them harmed!

White Fox bared his sharp claws and casually slashed through several totem marks before throwing Hu Li aside.

"Ah!! Ah!!!!"

"Hu He!! Hu Shi!! Hu Cong!!!"

The weaker Male Fox Beastmen almost instantly stopped breathing.

The other Male Beastmen rolled on the ground in pain.

But White Fox felt no pity for them.

They were the ones who provoked him first, and they were the ones who wanted to destroy his totem first. So what was wrong with him paying them back in kind?

"Get out!"

Hu Li scrambled up from the ground. "Quick, take them to the Witch Doctor, hurry!!"

"White Fox!" Hu Li gritted her teeth. "You are a Male Beastman of Stone Village. By offending my family like this and harming me and my beast husbands, aren't you afraid you won't be able to survive in Stone Village anymore?"

White Fox also looked coldly at Hu Li.

"You say I'm afraid? I'm a Male Beastman whose female master doesn't even want him. What do I have to fear?"

Nan Zhisui didn't want him... He was angry, fuming, aggrieved, and miserable.
