30: Jin Shengshan, a trading fair for independent cultivators.

A quarter of an hour later.

"The Celestial Immortal Sect... is just gone like that?"

Qiu Dao muttered to himself in disbelief.

On the ground in the distance, flames soared into the sky within the main camp, but the previously continuous roar of Spells had ceased.

The Celestial Immortal Sect had been completely wiped out.

Not a single person escaped!

"Yes, it's over."

Yu Xuzi followed with a sigh: "It seems this vast territory of the Xuan Kingdom is about to fall into the hands of the Yellow Heaven Cult."

After a few moments of silence, Qiu Dao still looked puzzled as he asked Yu Xuzi:

"Fellow Daoist Taiyin, you have traveled through the Cultivation Worlds of various countries in the Central Continent, so you must be well-informed. Have you ever seen such a strange occurrence?"

Yu Xuzi was taken aback, then replied naturally, "What are you referring to, Fellow Daoist Qiu?"

"The Yellow Heaven Cult!"

Qiu Dao pointed below: "A full two or three hundred Cultivators! What kind of terrifying power is that? I'm afraid only those few large Sects in Kang Country with Second-Grade Spiritual Veins could have so many Disciples, right?"

Meeting Qiu Dao's questioning gaze, Yu Xuzi smiled calmly, shook his head slightly, and said:

"Fellow Daoist, you've asked the wrong person. I am but a lowly Loose Cultivator and have never seen such a thing either."

Hearing this, Qiu Dao nodded in realization and followed with a long sigh: "Fellow Daoist Taiyin is too modest."

"It's just that this Yellow Heaven Cult is too bizarre. The Cult Master of Huang Tian Cult likely has some Heaven-Defying Opportunity, perhaps even a hidden Spiritual Vein."

"I'm afraid the countries in the Southwest region will not be peaceful in the future."

Yu Xuzi nodded silently, saying no more.

The pace of the Yellow Heaven Cult's expansion would never stop!

Not only could Qiu Dao see this, but the cultivation forces of other countries could surely see it as well.

Whether for self-preservation or out of greed for the Opportunity possessed by True Man Huang Tian, the confrontation within the Cultivation World was foreseeable.

Great chaos was imminent.

However, since True Man Huang Tian had taken this step, Yu Xuzi estimated he should have the confidence to handle the siege from the other Sects.

Next, it would depend on how they reacted.

"What are Fellow Daoist Taiyin's plans for the future? If you have no urgent matters, why not come to my Immortal Cave to exchange insights on the Dao?"

Before leaving, Qiu Dao earnestly extended an invitation to Yu Xuzi, his expression appearing quite sincere.

However, Yu Xuzi did not hesitate and directly shook his head in refusal:

"That is unfortunate. I plan to continue traveling through the countries of the Southwest region. Let us meet again if fate allows."

As soon as he finished speaking, Yu Xuzi walked toward the pair of Golden Eagles who were cuddling and playing nearby.

Was he joking? How long had they even known each other?

How could Yu Xuzi possibly agree to be a guest in a stranger's Immortal Cave?

What if there was danger?

As a Loose Cultivator, one must maintain this level of vigilance.

Qiu Dao did not seem surprised by Yu Xuzi's flat refusal.

He simply continued with a look of regret: "I can understand your concerns, Fellow Daoist. However, if you ever come to Hong Country in the future, you are welcome to visit my Immortal Cave at Wenxian Mountain at any time."

"There will be an Opportunity."

Yu Xuzi mounted the eagle, preparing to take flight.

Just then, Qiu Dao slapped his forehead suddenly, remembering something, and hurriedly called out to Yu Xuzi:

"Fellow Daoist Taiyin, please wait!"

"Hmm?"

"I forgot to mention something. Next October, there will be a Loose Cultivator Trade Fair at Jin Sheng Mountain in Yuan Country. Why don't you come and take a look then?"

Yu Xuzi's brow twitched: "A Loose Cultivator Trade Fair?"

Qiu Dao nodded: "That's right. Next year, Loose Cultivators from all over our Southwest region will gather there. If you have the time, you can come and participate."

"Are there many Loose Cultivators in your Southwest region?"

"Not really, only a few dozen in total. However, in the past, some Sect Disciples from various countries would also attend. Altogether, the trade fair can have nearly a hundred Cultivators. It's quite lively."

"I see."

Yu Xuzi nodded slightly, not committing to whether he would go or not.

"Furthermore, the organizer of this trade fair is Senior Jin Sheng of Yuan Country. He is a great Cultivator at Peak Qi Refining, the highest-ranking Loose Cultivator in our Southwest region, and highly respected."

Qiu Dao's words carried obvious reverence: "He is the pillar of support for us Loose Cultivators in the Southwest region. Thanks to his existence and protection, we Loose Cultivators have not been persecuted."

"Oh? What is the story behind that?"

Qiu Dao gave a series of helpless, bitter smiles and explained: "Fellow Daoist Taiyin might not know, but our Southwest region is different from the Central Continent where cultivation flourishes."

"In the last century or two, Sect forces like the Hunyuan Sect have been particularly severe in their persecution of Loose Cultivators, often resorting to violence for fear that someone might steal their resources."

"If it weren't for Senior Jin Sheng gathering Loose Cultivators at Jin Sheng Mountain and protecting us, I'm afraid we would have been wiped out by them long ago."

Yu Xuzi nodded in realization. "I see. If there is an Opportunity next year, I will certainly attend."

"Farewell!"

"Safe travels, Fellow Daoist."

As soon as he finished speaking, Yu Xuzi gently patted the back of the Golden Eagle.

Accompanied by the sound of the wind, the two Golden Eagles quickly soared into the sky and disappeared over the horizon.

"Safe travels, Fellow Daoist."

Qiu Dao waved enthusiastically. Only after the silhouettes of the Golden Eagles were no longer visible did the smile on his face gradually fade.

"Strange! How strange!!"

He stroked his chin and muttered to himself.

"This person knows something about the Central Continent's Cultivation World, but not much. Furthermore, his accent clearly sounds more like a local from the Southwest region, unlike Cultivators from elsewhere."

"But I've never heard of such a person before? A cultivation level at the Peak of the Middle Stage of Qi Refining is not low; he shouldn't be so obscure?"

"It doesn't make sense..."

"Could he really be from the outside?"

Qiu Dao remained somewhat suspicious of Yu Xuzi's identity.

Mainly because their region was originally very poor, with sparse spiritual energy and meager resources. The few resources available were completely monopolized by the major cultivation forces, making life quite difficult for Loose Cultivators.

As a place notorious as a graveyard for Loose Cultivators in the Cultivation World, it was rare for any outside Loose Cultivators to appear here... While Qiu Dao was still deeply puzzled, Yu Xuzi had already traveled dozens of miles away.

That Loose Cultivator Trade Fair—if he achieved a Breakthrough to Late Stage Qi Refining by next year, then he might go and take a look.

If he hadn't broken through, he would have to reconsider.

It would be best to gather more information and not just rely on Qiu Dao's one-sided account.

This person was likely working for that Venerable Jin Sheng.

"What 'pillar of support for Loose Cultivators'? He's probably just another leader of a faction."

Yu Xuzi saw through it clearly.

Venerable Jin Sheng gathered dozens of Loose Cultivators together, offering protection in name, but in reality, how was that any different from other Sect forces?

He didn't believe for a second that Venerable Jin Sheng was truly a Saint.

The Loose Cultivators received nominal protection, but what was the price?

The simplest answer was acting as henchmen, and perhaps having to hand over their hard-earned resources to support Venerable Jin Sheng.

However, this was the simplest exchange of interests, and it wasn't for him to say who was right or wrong.

Perhaps those Loose Cultivators even flocked to it, feeling exceptionally grateful in their hearts.

In this world, being able to live peacefully was already good enough.

"That Qiu Dao is likely scouting for information for Jin Sheng Mountain. In this Southwest region, am I perhaps the only Loose Cultivator with truly no background?!"

The more Yu Xuzi thought about it, the worse his expression became.

"No, appearing before others this time was still a bit reckless. I must be more cautious in the future."

He felt that perhaps the past two or three years had been too smooth, allowing a bit of arrogance to grow in his heart.

He needed to remind himself of this constantly in the future.

Of course, as long as Yu Xuzi's strength was sufficient, these forces wouldn't be a problem.

At most, they were only factions at the Qi Refining level.

Once he broke through to Late Stage Qi Refining or even the Peak, his identity as a Loose Cultivator would instead become his protective charm, making people afraid to provoke him lightly.

After all, a powerful Loose Cultivator with no strings attached was the most terrifying existence in the Cultivation World!
