30: Chapter 30 Absolute Calm! Absolute Order! Absolute Execution!

Rumble—!

The thick and cold Gate of the Mechanical Divine Domain trembled violently, leaking wisps of silvery-white superpower particle light dust from the gaps of the door frame.

Dense metal outlines stepped out orderly from within the door, and endless robots poured out.

Every robot was 1.9 meters tall, entirely crafted from streamlined modular dark-silver cold-forged alloy. Their bodies had a matte, restrained finish with sharp angles and no redundant decorations.

Above the headless bodies, a columnar sensory prism replaced the head, constantly flowing with ice-blue data ripples.

The moment all the robots stepped out of the Gate of the Divine Domain, detection and locking were completed simultaneously, and their cold mechanical fields of vision all focused on Su Ming high in the air.

"Enemy detected!" A mechanical voice emanated from their bodies.

Su Ming stood suspended in mid-air, gazing at the mechanical legion advancing methodically like a tide. His mind rapidly flipped through ancient records, instantly recognizing their background, and he muttered to himself,

"The lowest-tier standard combat unit of the Mechanical Race—Zero-Order Patroller."

Without the slightest hesitation, Su Ming raised his arm and waved.

Tens of thousands of Abyss undead monsters roared and rushed out in response. The ferocious Abyss Infernal Imps and plump, wriggling Abyss Worm covered the sky and earth, carrying a foul and tyrannical aura as they crazily pounced toward the metal frontlines of the Zero-Order Patrollers.

Sharp claws tore through the sky, black fog swept across all directions, and endless monsters obscured the earth, launching the most violent charge.

Yet facing this fierce wave, the sensory prisms of rows upon rows of Zero-Order Patrollers remained completely fluctuation-free.

They were a group of programmatic computational logics devoid of fear, panic, or restlessness.

Absolute Calm! Absolute Order! Absolute Execution!

This was the most dreaded and despair-inducing trait of the Mechanical Race.

Watching the rushing undead, the methodical mechanical array synchronously activated its fully armed posture.

The left arms of all Zero-Order Patrollers instantly extended and popped out ionizing pulse hand cannons. Streaks of pale-blue high-energy pulses pierced the air and shot out, and a dense barrage of electrical light swept across the frontal battlefield.

The moment the pulse hit the bodies of the Abyss Infernal Imps, explosive electrical light suddenly burst open. The high temperature instantly carbonized the monsters' skin and flesh, and the violent ionizing energy paralyzed their neural networks, causing the undead to instantly freeze and fall to the ground, losing all mobility.

If it hit the plump body of an Abyss Worm, the high-energy pulse would directly penetrate the bloated worm body, instantly vaporizing the ulcerated tissues within. The massive worm body would twitch violently for a few breaths before completely stopping its writhing, turning into a pile of dead matter on the ground.

The few undead that managed to break through the firepower network by luck and get up close were immediately met with a fatal counterattack.

The right arms of the Zero-Order Patrollers popped out high-frequency magnetic rail piercing short spears. The alloy spear shafts vibrated with high-speed resonance, carrying ultimate magnetic sharpness that easily tore through their thick skin.

A single spear was all it took to pierce through the body of an Abyss Infernal Imp, and even the stacked, plump shells of the worms were vulnerable.

The force of resonance poured into the monsters' bodies along the spear shafts, shattering their internal organs. The Infernal Imps and worms didn't even have time to let out a wail before they collapsed and perished.

The wave of undead rushed forward wave after wave, repeatedly assaulting the metal frontlines, yet they consistently failed to shake them in the slightest.

The Zero-Order Patroller array remained as methodical as one; damaged units automatically retreated for resupply, and undamaged units in the rear seamlessly filled their positions, with the formation never falling into chaos.

The pulse artillery fire was continuous and endless, and the magnetic rail short spears reaped lives with precision. With the coldest and most perfect order, they forcefully held off the boundless tide of Abyss undead.

In just a brief moment of engagement, the wasteland was already piled with charred monster corpses and insect remains, and nearly ten thousand undead had fallen successively.

High in the air, Su Ming quietly overlooked the entire slaughter, his expression indifferent and waveless.

This brief grappling had long since allowed him to fully comprehend the combat patterns, attack intervals, firepower blind spots, and melee shortcomings of the Zero-Order Patrollers.

"After three consecutive shots from the ionizing pulse hand cannon, there is inevitably a 0.3-second energy storage cooldown, which is a fixed firepower vacuum period;"

"The attack range of the magnetic rail piercing short spear is narrow, only covering the area in front of them, and monsters swarming close can perfectly evade single-point piercing;"

"The sensory field of vision of all mechanical units is highly concentrated on the front, with huge detection blind spots on the flanks and back. The retreat and replacement movement lines of damaged units are fixed and rigid, making them extremely susceptible to targeted interception."

Having discerned all the flaws, Su Ming's mind stirred slightly, instantly changing the combat orders for all the undead.

The wave of monsters that originally charged mindlessly straight ahead instantly changed formation, and their tactics instantly became tricky and fierce.

Half of the Abyss Infernal Imps lowered their bodies, using the corpses all over the ground as cover to disperse and outflank left and right, specifically picking the flanks and visual dead corners of the mechanical array to stealthily charge forward;

The remaining Infernal Imps charged in scattered batches, deliberately luring the mechanical legion to pour out firepower and forcibly forcing them to enter the vacuum window of energy storage cooling.

At the same time, countless Abyss Worm burrowed into the soil beneath the earth, perfectly evading the aerial pulse trajectories. They quietly sneaked along the underground to the feet of the mechanical frontlines, suddenly bursting out from the ground and precisely wrapping around the unprotected lower-limb hydraulic joints and pipeline interfaces of the Zero-Order Patrollers.

The battle situation instantly reversed.

The frontal pulse artillery fire remained fierce, but within the cooling open window period, the outflanking Infernal Imps on both sides had already gotten close.

A single Patroller's magnetic rail short spear could only parry one monster, and in a flash, it was pounced on by two or three Infernal Imps simultaneously. Their sharp demonic claws frantically tore at the joints and gaps of the body, forcefully ripping open the surface of the cold-forged alloy.

The worms attacking from underground were even more fatal; their plump worm bodies tightly locked down the mechanical units' legs, and their sharp mouthparts frantically chewed on the servo pipelines and power cores, directly crippling their mobility.

The moment a robot stagnated, it would immediately be constrained, encircled, and intercepted layer by layer by the monsters surging from all directions, completely cutting off the replacement routes of the rear units.

The impregnable metal array instantly became covered in cracks and full of flaws.

Constantly, the sensory prisms of Zero-Order Patrollers were smashed and their energy storage trunks were chewed through. The massive bodies that lost power crashed heavily to the ground, turning into scrap iron.

Damaged units wanting to retreat for repairs were all intercepted and killed halfway by outflanking monsters, leaving no possibility of returning to the team.

The pale-blue pulse fire became increasingly sparse, frequently falling into cooling faults, and could no longer suppress the tide of monsters surrounding them from all sides.

The magnetic rail short spears were stretched too thin, completely unable to attend to attacks from all directions.

Leveraging Su Ming's precise tactical dispatch, the undead monsters squeezed, divided, and interspersed layer by layer, completely crashing through the mechanical frontlines that originally crushed the entire field.

Cold metal wrecks continuously piled up on the wasteland, and the once-unbeatable Zero-Order Patrollers completely fell into a desperate situation.

Above the battlefield, the nether yin qi spread wantonly, frantically eroding the fallen mechanical wrecks in an attempt to convert them into Undead Retainers.

But after several attempts, they all returned to no avail.

The Mechanical Race were not flesh-and-blood beings; they had no souls, no physical flesh, and no divine souls, relying entirely on precision pipelines, energy cores, and logic modules to operate.

Once the machine body was damaged, the energy pathway was severed, or the core stopped spinning, it was completely dead matter and simply could not be converted into the undead by the Nether Sovereign.

"What a pity."

Su Ming slightly furrowed his brow, his heart full of regret.

Since they couldn't be taken for his own use, Su Ming no longer held back in the slightest.

"Make your move and clear the field."

Following an order, the Yin soldiers and other Retainers lying dormant in the rear all made their move together.

Amidst flashing cold light, the remaining Zero-Order Patrollers were all torn apart and crushed to pieces, and the cold sounds of metal breaking were endless, resounding across the entire wasteland.

A moment later, the last mechanical unit was completely destroyed, and the battlefield was thoroughly cleared.

Purity light clusters of silvery-white filled the sky, rising from the mechanical wrecks, floating in the void, and circulating with a soft divine power halo.

Su Ming raised his hand to gently touch the light cluster, and a pure, warm energy instantly surged into his body, nourishing his divine domain and strengthening his divine power origin.

Sensing the changes in his body, Su Ming nodded in satisfaction.

"Judging by this, the reward this time is divine power. A single light cluster can increase my divine power by thirty points, which can save me a lot of bitter cultivation time."

Ten minutes later, the next batch of Zero-Order Patrollers surged out from the Gate of Machinery.

With the experience from just now, even though there were more Zero-Order Patrollers this time than before, they still weren't Su Ming's opponents.
