114: Chapter 114 Jiang Yi: I want one too, give it to me!

Jiang Yi stood at the entrance of the guest courtyard, her phoenix eyes staring fixedly at the bone-deep bite mark on Lu Chen's left shoulder.

The dark purple glow of the Li-Fire Law swirled around the edges of the wound, like a mark declaring sovereignty.

Her hand was pressed against the hilt of her taixu sword, nearly drawing it in confrontation.

“Nangong Waner.”

Jiang Yi's voice was as calm as a pond without a single ripple.

“Where did you get the great emperor is also crazy?”

Nangong Waner stepped out from behind Lu Chen, her purple robes loose and her belt not even properly tied.

She provocatively wrapped her arms around Lu Chen's waist, her peach blossom eyes curving into crescents.

“Didn't you give it to me?”

Jiang Yi's taixu sword let out a low hum.

“I gave it to you?”

“That's right.” Nangong Waner laughed even more joyfully.

“Don't you know I'm an Alchemy Genius? During all these years in the Nangong Family, I've mastered the Family's Alchemy Legacy to an extraordinary degree. As my best friend, you should know that.”

She released Lu Chen and retrieved a dark red jade bottle from her Storage Ring, spinning it twice between her fingers.

“You let me smell the empty bottle that day, so I analyzed and replicated the entire structure of the residual medicinal power.”

“In half a month, I created an improved version with twice the medicinal effect of the original.”

Jiang Yi's expression shifted.

“You—”

“Once yours is used up, it's gone.”

Nangong Waner tucked the jade bottle away, her tone airy.

“Mine, I'll always have. I can have as much as I want.”

“From now on, little Lu Chen won't be able to refuse me.”

After speaking, Nangong Waner even stuck out her small, fragrant tongue and seductively licked the corner of her mouth; her tongue was pink and crystal clear.

The air froze for three breaths.

Jiang Yi took a deep breath, and the hostility in her phoenix eyes receded slightly.

“Share some with me. I want it.”

Nangong Waner raised an eyebrow: “What did you say?”

“I said, share some with me.”

Jiang Yi gritted her teeth, enunciating each word.

“I want it too.”

Nangong Waner stared at her for two breaths, then suddenly laughed.

“Since you, my sister, didn't come to interrupt us for so many days.”

She produced another jade bottle from her Storage Ring and tossed it over.

“I'll give you one bottle.”

Jiang Yi caught it and probed the bottle with her Divine Sense to verify the contents.

The structure of the medicinal power was indeed identical to the one her mother had given her, perhaps even purer.

She stowed the jade bottle and sneered.

“Would I have dared to come in? If I had, I would have fallen victim to it too. If I had joined in, it would have been mass debauchery.”

She paused, her phoenix eyes sweeping over Lu Chen and Nangong Waner.

“If I had come, wouldn't it have ended up with the three of us together?”

Nangong Waner's peach blossom eyes lit up.

“You're unwilling? You don't want to share with me? I actually think it would be quite exciting!”

She hugged Lu Chen's waist again, pressing her entire body against him.

“I'm willing anyway. Since neither of us can beat Lu Chen, we have to follow his lead.”

She tilted her head, her voice laced with a hint of laziness.

“You know what he's like. When he was young, he was just a handsome rogue who flirted with so many Fairies.”

The taixu sword hummed once more.

“Nangong Waner!”

“What?” Nangong Waner laughed even more heartily.

“Are you not convinced?”

The auras of the two women erupted simultaneously.

The pressure of two Peak Ninth-Stage Quasi-Emperors collided, grinding the stone tables and chairs in the courtyard into powder.

Lu Chen sat in his chair, holding a teacup, without even raising an eyelid.

He took a sip of tea.

It was cold.

[I knew it.]

[These two women are each more ruthless than the last.]

[One moment they're getting out of bed, the next they're drawing swords at each other.]

He set down the teacup. His voice wasn't loud, but both women stopped immediately.

“If you want to fight, go outside.”

Lu Chen looked up, his phoenix eyes half-closed.

“I'm about to pat my butt and leave; I don't want to stay here for another day.”

Jiang Yi and Nangong Waner froze at the same time.

The two exchanged a glance, gave a cold snort, and retracted their auras.

Then, the atmosphere shifted abruptly.

Jiang Yi turned and produced a pitch-black Medicinal Pill.

“Have a White Tiger Whip Silver Dragon Root Tonic Pill to nourish your body. I refined it with Yinyang Fire!”

She placed the pill before Lu Chen, the coldness in her phoenix eyes completely gone, replaced by an inexplicable tenderness.

“Come find me tonight. I have something to discuss with you.”

Nangong Waner was not to be outdone, walking directly behind Lu Chen and placing her hands on his shoulders.

“Is this pressure comfortable?”

Her fingers kneaded his shoulders with perfect force.

“I won't argue with her anymore. Who told her to 'steal a snack' first?”

Lu Chen held the pill, sandwiched between the two women.

On his left was Jiang Yi, and on his right was Nangong Waner.

One served soup, the other massaged his shoulders.

It was the blessing of a man with multiple wives, but he felt no satisfaction, only a sense of comfort and softness.

He swallowed the pill in one gulp, his mind racing.

He didn't want to stay in the Jiang Family for another day—and it definitely wasn't because the two of them were too insatiable.

The Jiang Family had Jiang Yi and Ji Rushuang, while the Nangong Family had Nangong Waner and Nangong Yaoguang.

The Old Ancestors of both families were watching him right here; he couldn't escape even if he wanted to.

He had to find an excuse.

A reasonable, legitimate excuse that no one could find fault with.

Lu Chen set down the soup bowl and suddenly remembered something.

The decennial Alchemy Convention of the Central Continent.

This was the premier Alchemy event in the Human Realm, gathering Alchemy Geniuses from all major powers; even Quasi-Emperor level Alchemy Grandmasters would attend.

It was scheduled for half a month from now.

Lu Chen's eyes lit up.

He stood up, shook off Nangong Waner's hands, and turned to face the two women.

“I want to take my disciple to the Alchemy Convention for experience.”

His tone was very serious.

“You two should return to your respective families to stabilize the Realms you gained from last night's Dual Cultivation.”

Jiang Yi and Nangong Waner were both stunned.

“Alchemy Convention?” Jiang Yi frowned.

“What are you going there for?”

“To give my disciple experience.” Lu Chen said solemnly.

“Ye Qingxian has good talent; it's time she saw the world.”

Nangong Waner stared at him for two breaths, her peach blossom eyes narrowing.

“Are you trying to run away?”

“No.” Lu Chen shook his head.

“I simply feel that since you both just had a Breakthrough, you need time to stabilize your Realms.”

He paused, his tone sincere.

“I don't want to delay your Cultivation either. I hope you both become Great Emperors soon and break your shackles.”

Jiang Yi and Nangong Waner looked at each other.

Neither of them was a fool.

Lu Chen's words sounded grand, but anyone could see—he just wanted to run.

But he wasn't wrong.

During the twenty-five days of Dual Cultivation, Jiang Yi's cultivation had climbed from the Peak of the Ninth-Stage Quasi-Emperor to the absolute limit of the Ninth Stage, only half a step from becoming a Great Emperor.

It was the same for Nangong Waner.

An opportunity for such a Breakthrough would never come again if missed.

Jiang Yi remained silent for three breaths before nodding.

“Fine.”

She looked up, her phoenix eyes fixed on Lu Chen.

“But you must swear that after the competition, you will visit each of us in turn.”

“Come to my Jiang Family first.”

Nangong Waner immediately interjected: “Why go to your house first?”

“I am the primary wife.” Jiang Yi sneered.

“So am I.” Nangong Waner countered.

Lu Chen massaged his temples.

“Fine, fine, fine. I'll go to both, one by one.”

He raised his right hand, and the Great Emperor Law condensed in his palm.

“I, Lu Chen, swear that after the Alchemy Convention ends, I will definitely visit each of you.”

Only then did Jiang Yi and Nangong Waner nod in satisfaction.

“Then I'm going back to the Jiang Family for secluded meditation.” Jiang Yi turned to leave.

“Wait.” Nangong Waner called out to her.

“What is it?”

Nangong Waner produced another jade bottle from her Storage Ring and tossed it over.

“Here's another bottle, in case you run out.”

Jiang Yi caught it, a complex emotion flashing in her phoenix eyes.

“Thanks.”

“You're welcome.” Nangong Waner smiled.

“We're sisters, after all. What's a little something like this?”

The two women looked at each other and suddenly both laughed.

Watching this scene, Lu Chen felt a chill run down his spine.

[It's over. From now on, I'll have to deal with these aphrodisiacs, and I won't be able to refuse.]

[With these two women joining forces, I'll be even less of a match for them.]
