158: Chapter 158 Nangong Ziyi: The Taste of My Husband
Mistress! These two words drilled into Lu Chen's ears, and he instantly shuddered with a jolt.
In the vision:
Leng Qingqiu stood before the mountain gate of the Yunxiao Holy Land, her white clothes stained with blood. She held the long sword he had personally bestowed upon her, the tip pointing downward as blood dripped onto the ground, drop by drop.
Her face was expressionless, her eyes cold enough to freeze a volcano, and her lips moved as she spoke.
"Revered Master, this 'Mistress' you brought back—your Disciple has dealt with her for you!"
Then she looked at her own chest.
"She is about the same size as me, so why can't you look at me more!"
"Is it because looking just once more will cause an explosion? Or getting a little closer will make it melt?"
"Revered Master, I don't want it to be like this! What I want is to be investigated for getting a bit closer!"
Lu Chen shivered.
It wasn't a coldness from his cultivation level; it was a fear of his eldest Disciple that crawled out from the gaps in his spine.
He knew that Leng Qingqiu was extremely possessive.
If she found out that in less than half a month away, he had first been ridden by Yuan Miaoyu for five days, then ravished by Nangong Ziyi for an entire night, and was now bringing back a "Little Mistress"...
"No! Dame yo!"
Lu Chen turned around and strode toward the bed.
Nangong Ziyi was wrapped in the quilt, with only her head showing. Her long hair was messy against her face, and her peach blossom eyes were curved into crescents. She smiled with a look of innocence, sweetness, and a hint of "what can you do about it."
Lu Chen didn't give her the chance to continue acting spoiled.
His right hand reached accurately into the quilt and pinched the collar at the back of Nangong Ziyi's neck.
Wait, she wasn't wearing any clothes.
His hand was pinching the skin on the back of her neck.
It was warm, smooth, and carried the residual heat of the Heavenly Yin Fire God Physique.
Nangong Ziyi's body stiffened, and her peach blossom eyes widened.
"Hus..."
Before she could utter the second syllable, Lu Chen directly applied force.
For a Great Emperor Peak to lift a little girl at the Xiantai Fourth Layer, it was no different from lifting a kitten.
Nangong Ziyi was hoisted out of the bed. The quilt slipped off her body, and a flash of snowy white skin in the morning light made Lu Chen's eyes twitch.
He immediately turned his head away, refusing to look.
"Put on your clothes, now!"
He set Nangong Ziyi on the floor, turned around, grabbed an outer robe from a nearby rack, and threw it over her, hitting her on the head.
Nangong Ziyi's head and face were covered by the outer robe, and she let out a muffled grunt of dissatisfaction from underneath it.
"Husband, is this how you treat your bride?"
"Put it on! Immediately! Right now!"
Nangong Ziyi pulled the robe off her head. Lu Chen's Black Robe was three sizes too large for her.
The collar slumped below her shoulders, and the sleeves were half a foot too long. She was completely swallowed by it, looking exactly like a child who had stolen an adult's clothes.
But her peach blossom eyes lit up.
She lowered her head to sniff the collar and buried her face in it, rubbing against it twice.
"Husband's scent."
Lu Chen's temples throbbed wildly.
"Nangong Ziyi! You must get off the ship! My flying boat is too small of a temple to house a great Buddha like you!"
"Yunmeng City is just ahead. Get your self back to the Nangong Family!"
Nangong Ziyi stood there, wearing his oversized Black Robe, her bare feet on the wooden floor, her long hair damp and clinging to her neck and collarbone.
Instead of walking toward the door, she rushed toward Lu Chen.
"I'm not leaving!"
Nangong Ziyi dove into Lu Chen's arms, her arms locking around his waist and her face buried in his chest, hanging onto him with her whole body.
The residual warmth of Nangong Ziyi's jade-like body transmitted through the Black Robe, making Lu Chen feel numb all over.
"Let go!"
"I won't!"
"You..."
"Hit me then! Even if you kill me, I won't let go!"
Nangong Ziyi hugged him even tighter, rubbing her face against his chest until the fabric there was crumpled into a ball.
Her voice began to take on a sobbing tone.
"You were clearly very happy last night too! You even called me your good treasure! Have you forgotten!"
Lu Chen's hands hung in mid-air, unsure of where to put them.
Push her away? He couldn't.
It wasn't that he lacked the strength, but he didn't dare use it. If he accidentally hurt her, his conscience wouldn't be able to bear it.
Pull her off? He couldn't do that either.
This girl was holding on like a pair of iron pincers. She was using all the arm strength of the Xiantai Fourth Layer just to hug his waist. He was afraid that using too much force would hurt her.
His hands remained frozen behind her for three breaths before he finally spread them to his sides, giving up resistance.
Nangong Ziyi's tears fell onto his lapel, soaking into dark water stains.
Her peach blossom eyes were bloodshot, the tip of her nose was red, and her entire face was scrunched up, looking aggrieved to the extreme.
"You're just looking down on me! You stayed with that Saintess in Yaochi for five days and didn't mind! It's only been one night and you're driving me away!"
"Is it because she's prettier than me?"
"Or because she's bigger than me?"
Lu Chen's head was buzzing.
He looked down at Nangong Ziyi, who was hanging onto his waist and crying like a fountain, then looked up at the ceiling of the cabin.
The morning light slanted in from the porthole in streaks, falling on the messy bed, the fragments of purple-red gauze on the floor, and his face.
He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and slowly exhaled.
Then, resigned to his fate, he walked to the grand chair and sat down with Nangong Ziyi still attached to him.
Nangong Ziyi took the opportunity to curl into his lap, occupying his entire knees. Her face remained buried in his chest, but her crying instantly turned into a giggle.
Lu Chen leaned against the back of the chair, his right hand on the armrest, while his left hand instinctively rested on the back of her head.
He stared at the ceiling, expressionless.
Being a Great Emperor was far too frustrating.
He couldn't hit them, he couldn't scold them away, and it was even more impossible to kill them.
He was surrounded by living ancestors he couldn't afford to provoke.
His first Disciple was one, his second was another, and his third Disciple was the Young Miss of an Ancient Desolate Family.
Now there was another girl from the Nangong Family whose aunt was a Pseudo-Emperor, whose father was a Pseudo-Emperor, and who had the entire Nangong Clan standing behind her.
He thought that as a Great Emperor Peak, an existence invincible under the heavens, he could say every day: I don't eat beef!
But at this moment, he was being sat upon by a little girl at the Xiantai Fourth Layer who was crying and rubbing against him: But you have to eat seafood!
"Senior, I'm coming in. I can help relieve your worries!"
Creak!
The cabin door was pushed open, and Ji Ziyue stood at the entrance.
Her purple palace dress was perfectly neat, her Flying Immortal Bun was not the least bit out of place, and her Jasper Hairpin glinted coldly in the morning light.
Her phoenix eyes scanned the room, passing over the fragments of purple-red gauze on the floor, the dark red bloodstain of her virginity on the bed, and the two people holding each other on the grand chair.
Her gaze lingered on Nangong Ziyi for an extra breath.
The girl was wearing Lu Chen's Black Robe, the collar slipping off her shoulder to reveal half her collarbone and the red marks left from last night. Her hair was messy, her eyes were red, and she was huddled in Lu Chen's arms.
She raised her hand, adjusted her wide sleeves, and stepped into the cabin.
Her steps were composed, her waist swayed slightly, and the hem of her purple palace dress traced silent arcs across the floor.
"Senior, do not be vexed."
Ji Ziyue walked to the side of the grand chair, bowed slightly, and looked at Lu Chen with smiling phoenix eyes.
Her voice was soft and incredibly considerate.
"Since this girl needs to return to the Nangong Family for secluded cultivation, Ziyue just happens to be going that way."
She paused for a beat, her slender fingers lightly resting on Nangong Ziyi's shoulder.
"I can personally escort her back to the Nangong Clan. I guarantee she will be delivered safely, with not a single hair missing."
Lu Chen's eyes lit up.
That light was the light of a drowning man seeing a piece of driftwood, or someone trapped in a demon's den finally seeing a rescuer.
He looked at Ji Ziyue, his gaze filled with genuine gratitude.
"Fellow Daoist Ziyue, you are so thoughtful!"
His voice even changed pitch, carrying a sincerity that came from surviving a disaster.
"You are truly too sensible! I'll leave her to you! Make sure you send her home safely!"
He emphasized the word "make sure."
Nangong Ziyi's body suddenly tensed up.
She bounced up from Lu Chen's arms, her peach blossom eyes still wet with tears as she glared at Ji Ziyue.
"Mind your own business!"
Ji Ziyue's phoenix eyes narrowed slightly, but her smile remained unchanged.
Her right hand slid down from Nangong Ziyi's shoulder, and her fingers spread open.
The cultivation fluctuations of the Pseudo-Emperor Seventh Level were silently released.
The Spatial Law spread from her palm, and the force field of the Great Void Technique condensed around Nangong Ziyi, locking down her limbs, Meridians, and spiritual power.
Nangong Ziyi's expression changed drastically.
She tried to resist, but was immediately crushed back by Ji Ziyue's even more powerful Spatial Law.
Xiantai Fourth Layer against Pseudo-Emperor Seventh Level—it was like a ham sausage trying to fight a tiger; there was no hope!
Nangong Ziyi couldn't even move a finger.
Ji Ziyue reached out her left hand and pinched the back collar of Nangong Ziyi's Black Robe with two fingers.
She lifted Nangong Ziyi off Lu Chen's knees with a light movement, no different from picking up a little chick.
Nangong Ziyi hung in mid-air, her limbs fixed by the Spatial Law, with only her head still able to move.
"Lu Chen! You heartless man! You can't do this to me!"
Lu Chen waved at her, his expression written all over with a sense of relief.
"Safe travels."
Ji Ziyue turned around while carrying Nangong Ziyi and walked toward the cabin door.
Then she carried Nangong Ziyi out, and the cabin door closed silently behind them.
From the corridor came Nangong Ziyi's increasingly distant shouting.
"Ji Ziyue, let me go! You old woman! If you dare touch a single hair on my head, my aunt won't let you off!"
Ji Ziyue's voice drifted through the wall, unhurried and as calm as a light breeze.
"Oh? Your aunt? I happen to have some things I want to have a good chat with her about."

I'm writing novels part-time, working on both short stories and long novels!
I still have to work every day, sigh. I often stay up until three or four in the morning. So if there are any issues in the main text that you find unreasonable, when you point them out in the comments or scold me, could you please mention which chapter it is? It makes it easier for me to fix!
For some, I don't know which chapter they are in! I'm not a Genius; I can't memorize that many words.
