211: Chapter 211 Shocking Changes in the Abyss! Qingyao Breaks Boundaries to Find Her Master

Su Changge saw the crowd below all kneeling and felt a long sigh of relief in his heart. He was thankful that this wave of disguise was successful; otherwise, the consequences would have been unimaginable. With a thought, he brought up the System panel, his gaze falling on the "emotion points" column.

"Two million!"

A full two million emotion points instantly flooded into his account, bringing his total balance to a staggering 14.8 million! Su Changge was ecstatic, a sense of uncontrollable satisfaction rising within him. This act of mystery-mongering had truly paid off handsomely! Such a massive amount of emotion points was enough to support him in many "special effect" exchanges; for a long time to come, he wouldn't have to worry about the scarcity of System resources.

Forcing down the surging excitement in his heart, Su Changge maintained his cold and transcendent posture. He raised his hand and pressed down slightly toward the kneeling crowd, his voice calm yet carrying an unquestionable authority.

"Remain at the base and await this King's return."

"Without this King's command, no one is permitted to step into the Northern Region!"

Upon hearing this, the Old Priest respectfully kowtowed three times, his voice hoarse and trembling with excitement: "This old servant obeys! We shall do our utmost to guard the base and await Your Majesty's triumphant return!"

The Four Princes also responded loudly, their fanaticism beyond words: "We obey!"

Su Changge nodded in satisfaction and said no more. He turned slightly, his back to the crowd, as his grand figure, enveloped in golden light, gradually drifted into the depths of the Northern Region's mist. His back was straight and mysterious, and as the golden light slowly vanished into the roiling thick fog, his transcendent posture was stylish to the extreme.

The Old Priest and the Four Princes remained kneeling on the ground. They watched Su Changge's figure completely disappear into the depths of the mist and did not rise for a long time. At this moment, their adoration for this "King" had reached a Peak never before seen in their lives.

As soon as he entered the depths of the mist and confirmed that those outside could no longer see him, the golden light special effect around Su Changge instantly dissipated, and his grand figure collapsed to the ground. He gasped for breath; that bit of posturing just now had almost exhausted his entire mind, and the feeling of holding it in made him suffer.

Lin Waner followed him into the mist, her gaze toward Su Changge filled with shock and confusion.

"Fellow Daoist, you... you are actually the King of the Blood Race?" She had witnessed the Old Priest and the others kneeling to Su Changge, and the shock in her heart was beyond measure.

Su Changge waved his hand and responded with feigned profundity, "There is no need to speak of things you shouldn't ask. Lead the way ahead; we must go to the Ancestral Hall quickly."

Lin Waner's heart tightened, and she didn't dare say more. She immediately focused her mind, turned, and cautiously headed toward the depths of the Northern Region. Su Changge followed slowly behind her, calculating the two million emotion points that had just entered his account.

With such a huge amount of emotion points, even if the System occasionally malfunctioned, it would be enough to handle his many upcoming actions. He pulled up the System panel and glanced at the countdown—"fifty-six days and twelve hours." There was still plenty of time; as long as he could successfully obtain the heart of the realm, he could safely survive this tribulation. He carefully checked the System status; the previous "temporary disconnection" prompt had disappeared. Although the words "some functions limited" remained, overall, the System had restored its connection.

Su Changge's tension eased slightly, and he let out a long breath. Fortunately, the System hadn't truly failed him; otherwise, he would have been in a desperate situation. He steadied his mind and continued following Lin Waner.

After traveling for about an hour, in the silent depths of the mist, that ethereal cry for help rang out again. This time, it sounded more real and more urgent than before.

Lin Waner stopped abruptly, her face pale, and a trace of unease flashed in her eyes.

"Fellow Daoist, someone else is calling for help! Could it be my Senior Brother?"

Su Changge's heart sank. A cry for help? Why was there always a cry for help? He looked up at the bottomless darkness ahead, his fingers unconsciously gripping the special effect panel appearing in the Void Realm, a sense of unknown crisis quietly spreading.

Meanwhile, in the far-off Cangxuan Dao Domain, atop the East Desolate Immortal Mountain, Ye Qingyao had finally gathered all the rare Materials needed to open a spatial rift. She stood upon an ancient altar, her gaze burning as she stared at the various rare treasures piled before her, her excitement beyond words.

"Revered Master, Qingyao can finally come find you!"

Ye Qingyao raised her slender hand, and the vast cultivation within her surged like a tide, pouring into the ancient and mysterious spatial Formation before her. Amidst a humming sound, a huge, eye-piercing spatial rift that distorted the Void Realm slowly tore open atop the altar.

In the deepest parts of the Northern Region, several Extraterritorial Heavenly Demons had been attracted by the scent of a living person spreading through the mist. Their figures were indistinct in the darkness, trailing a nauseating stench, distorting the Void Realm as they quietly approached Su Changge's direction.

Su Changge stood alone in the heart of the mist, the sound of footsteps in his ears becoming clearer, each one striking his heart like a heavy hammer.

What dangerous thing was hidden in that deep, boundless darkness ahead?

Within the mist, the footsteps of unknown origin approached from afar, each step treading heavily on Su Changge's heartstrings, stirring a wild tremor.

Beside him, the color had completely drained from Lin Waner's face, her lips turning blue. Her delicate hands tightly gripped his sleeve, and her whole body was almost hidden in his shadow.

"Fellow Daoist, what... what exactly is that?" Her voice carried an uncontrollable tremble.

Su Changge's throat was dry; how could he know the answer? At this moment, the only thought in his mind was the word "escape."

His survival instinct drove him to turn suddenly, wanting to flee into the thick fog he had come from. However, the solid ground beneath his feet betrayed him without warning the moment he exerted force.

"Crack—"

The black, decayed ground cracked like a spiderweb, and a bottomless, pitch-black hole instantly formed. A sense of weightlessness seized his entire body, and his internal organs felt displaced. He and Lin Waner didn't even have time to let out a complete cry of alarm before being completely swallowed by the hole.

Falling, endless falling.

Su Changge flailed his limbs in the air in vain, trying to grab onto anything that could provide leverage, even a straw. What his fingertips brushed against was only the cold, deathly silence of the Void Realm.

He fell into a realm of pure darkness, a Domain completely abandoned by light.

There was no moment of landing. Instead, there was a more eerie sense of suspension. No gravity, no direction, his whole person like a speck of dust floating in the boundless dead silence. There was no wind, no sound, and even the passage of time became blurred.

Lin Waner's cry of alarm came from not far away, but it was as if half of it had been swallowed by an invisible giant mouth; the sound was ethereal and distorted, so weak it was almost unrecognizable.

In an instant, Su Changge's back was completely drenched in cold sweat.
