Chapter 221 Asuma Team

On the other hand, Aoi figure appeared standing in his previous place, looking at his tornado expanding at an alarming rate, devastating the surrounding land, trees, and everything pulled toward it. His brow furrowed, and he muttered, "It seems my chakra effect really reached a natural disaster level; I should avoid using these outrageous bloodline limits."

"It's time to speed up the process. I have to do something." Obito spoke calmly, then a spiral appeared, absorbing his figure inside, leaving an empty, hidden cave entrance.

Inside the Konoha village,

Aoi was sitting inside the ramen shop, looking at the tsunade and jiraiya sitting on both sides. He asked curiously, "Now what do you two old people want from me? You are frightening me by surrounding me like that."

Tsunade mouth twitched, suppressing her anger, then said, "We just want to know about the Akatsuki organization; do you know anything about them?"

"You are quite an unattractive kid." Jiraiya said it with an annoyed expression.

"Well, I don't know a lot, but I know that their main base is located in the Rain Village. You can go and find out about them there." Aoi replied calmly while gorging up the ramen.

Tsunade and Jiraiya glanced at each other helplessly, then nodded and walked away after paying. 

"Also, pay mine; information is not free." Aoi reminded me calmly,

Tsunade clenched her fist, suppressed the urge to punch his face, patted the table angrily, and left after paying the money.

Jiraiya glanced at Aoi strangely, shook his head, and walked outside.

After reaching some distance, both of their expressions calmed down, and Tsunade said, "He knows something, but he won't give us information easily."

"Indeed," Jiraiya nodded in acknowledgement and then added thoughtfully, "Well, there is no need to ask him anymore; I will infiltrate the Rain Village and find out myself."

Tsunade was startled, looking at him, feeling a bad premonition in her heart about his decision, and said, "Are you sure? It may be dangerous."

Jiraiya nodded calmly. "I am sure. It's my duty as a Shinobi."

After talking for a while and drinking his last drink with Tsunade, he left the village after saying goodbye.

On the other hand, Aoi was walking on the street while eating the dango. He noticed someone halted, looking in the direction of Neji Hyuga. 'Will he die or live in the future? I have already changed the plotline.'

Aoi then ignored him and walked toward the Konoha village exit.

Meanwhile, Hidan and Kakuzu, two new Akatsuki members, begin to wreak havoc by capturing multiple Jinchuriki.

They were chasing after the Two-Tails's jinchūriki, Yugito Nii. Despite fully transforming into her two-tailed state, Hidan and Kakuzu defeated Yugito. 

After the battle, Hidan performed a gruesome religious ritual, greatly annoying Kakuzu, who was a money-obsessed bounty hunter. 

Zetsu appeared and took charge of Yugito, ordering the pair to proceed to the Land of Fire and their next target.

Hidan and Kakuzu then went to the Land of Fire, stopped by a nearby temple, and killed the head monk, Chiriku, a former bodyguard for the Land of Fire's nobility. 

One monk managed to escape and inform Tsunade of the incident. Tsunade then ordered Shizune to mobilize a new task force, the Nijū Shōtai. Asuma's group, consisting of himself, Shikamaru, Kotetsu, and Izumo, left for the temple.

Asuma's team arrived at the ruins of the temple and realized that the Akatsuki pair had taken Chiriku's body to a bounty station. 

The team prepared to intercept the killers at the station, and a monk prayed for the team's safety. When the monk expressed concern for their safety, Asuma revealed that his bounty was five million ryō higher than Chiriku's.
