Chapter 231 Moon Fall

A few days later,The five nations of Shinobi gathered together, and a lot of white Zetsu were released by Obito and Kabuto to confront the Shinobi alliance. The fourth ninja world war began.

Aoi is sitting above the head of the Gedo statue; its nine eyes are closed.

Slowly, it's withering, and cracks are widening and spreading through it's whole body as if dry wood's.

Slowly, the dry sections of the statue started falling to the ground; soon, the whole statue turned into simple wood pieces.

Aoi opened his eyes, and instantly nine terms started rotating in his rinnegan. A heavy aura and pupil suppression spread around, covering a few hundred miles.

"Well, finally, nine terms." Aoi raised his hand with a water mirror, looking at his gray pupil with rings and nine dark terms.

Aoi appeared in the city of Noran after sensing the dragon vein sealed in the deep underground layer.

Aoi passed through the special paths and reached the sealing area. After signing the unsealing signs, the ground instantly lit up in a square formation.

Naruto clones also spread and reached every corner of the battlefield, starting to collide with Obito, Madara, and Kabuto.

Aoi then sensed something, instantly turned, and glanced at the old man sitting in the void with truth-seeking balls and a dress made from chakra.

"Sage of the six paths." Aoi said calmly,

"Strange, you seem to be my descendant, but your bloodline is stronger than mine." Sage of the Six Path muttered confusedly,

Aoi glanced at him calmly, then said, "Do you need anything?"

"Basically, I wanted you to stop absorbing the ancient dragon vein; I used it to suppress my mother in another dimension using the yin and yang seal, but now I changed my mind," the Sage of the Six Path said, then fell silent. After a while, he added,

"I want you to stop her; without the ancient dragon vein, the moon will fall on this world and my mother will be released." Sage of the Six Path then glanced at him solemnly.

Aoi's brow furrowed upon hearing his words, his expression becoming thoughtful. 'What the dragon vein has to do with the Kaguya and moon is that it's just one of the veins in this world that regulates the natural energy around them.' 

Then he raised his head and glanced at the calm and steady expression on the sage's six-path face. 

'He probably wants to use me to fight against Kaguya, and one of us perishes.' Aoi thought, then felt something falling from the atmosphere toward the planet.

On the other hand, a dark shadow covered the whole world. Everyone on the battlefield halted, looking at the sky, including Madara and Obito.

Seeing the moon expanding in their vision and falling toward them, their faces changed. 

"Is this the end?" One of the ninjas muttered,

"It's God's punishment." Another ninja muttered; their weapons fell to the ground; some even sat down in despair.

Madara's brow also furrowed. Looking at the moon fall, a bad premonition spread through his heart.

"It seems our plan really failed; I can't create an ideal world with Rin," Obito muttered, standing beside him and looking at the sky in a daze.
