5: God had mercy on mankind, and heaven sent down sweet rain.

“Rumble...!!!”

First came a mist-like drizzle, followed by raindrops as large as beans, swaying and falling as they were blown by the wind.

Countless golden electric snakes tore through the darkness.

Thousands of farmers knelt in the fields, soaked to the bone by the rain, yet their faces were filled with excitement.

What rolled down their faces was not just rainwater, but tears.

“A miracle!!!”

“The gods have bestowed their grace!!!”

“I saw it, there is a god in the clouds... Oh God!”

“...”

On the ground, Mortals looked up at the sky, bathing in the torrential rain as if being purified by holy water.

The dry and cracked earth, like a long-starved child, greedily absorbed the moisture.

The ground became moist, and the withered crops upon it straightened their backs.

The lush green color became more and more eye-catching.

In the sky, a dark Azure Dragon shadow descended from the nine heavens. Though it was only a Divine Soul carrying Dragon Qi, the dragon scales seemed to have become more solid, shimmering with starlight.

Appearing and disappearing amidst the clouds, the divine dragon flicked its tail and traveled a hundred miles away.

Yu Mengzhang wanted to bestow sweet rain upon every piece of parched land.

And where there was a severe drought, another piece of land was prone to flooding.

At this moment, as the Azure Dragon of the Four Icons, he sensed the celestial phenomena and could predict where danger had arisen.

He headed toward that place... On an official road outside Heaven Dou City.

The sudden heavy rain stopped a convoy on the road.

Inside the luxurious carriage in the middle, the curtain was pulled back, revealing a gentle and ordinary face.

Looking at the heavy rain outside, the young man showed sincere joy.

“How wonderful... With this heavy rain, the disaster can finally end...”

“Perhaps it is because Your Highness's hard work has moved the heavens!”

A knight flattered from the side.

The young man, Xue Qinghe, smiled faintly upon hearing this and shook his head. “It's fine to say such things among ourselves.”

He smiled slightly, looking at the thick dark clouds.

At that moment, another long golden electric snake tore through the darkness.

“Hmm? Is there something there?”

Xue Qinghe was startled.

“Yes! It seems there is! I saw it too, Your Highness! It was very long and majestic, but it disappeared in an instant!”

“Me too! I saw an eye! It was like the sun!”

“...”

The knights surrounding the convoy all cried out in surprise.

They had all vaguely seen the miracle in the sky.

Usually when it rained, no one would brave the rain to look up at the sky, but this time was different!

“Is it a god?” Xue Qinghe narrowed his eyes.

In a year of severe drought, to suddenly bring down heavy rain was something a Titled Douluo could not do... Only a god was a possibility!

...Outside the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, the village chief and others who were pleading with the young man stared blankly at the sky.

Even though the heavy rain soaked his body, he did not hide.

On their faces, the corners of their mouths gradually turned up, and they all broke into almost frantic laughter.

“The heavens have pity! The heavens have pity!”

“It's raining!!! Our crops are saved! We don't have to sell our land!”

“Hahaha... The heavens have opened their eyes! It's a miracle! Quick, thank the god for his great kindness and virtue!”

“...”

The villagers cried and laughed, cheering and jumping at the main gate while soaking in the rain.

This heavy rain was equivalent to saving their lives!

The crops were saved, and they didn't have to sell their land!

From now on, they would still be 'people' rather than 'beasts of burden' working for a master!

The young man hiding under the eaves looked extremely displeased.

He was just one step away from tricking these villagers into selling their land!

How hateful!!!

“Damn heavens! Do you have to go against us? To rain at a time like this, it's truly... damnable!”

The young man gritted his teeth, staring at the sky with eyes full of malice.

Suddenly, an azure shadow appeared in his eyes.

From afar, it seemed to lock eyes with him.

A pair of golden lights suddenly elongated, turning into a bolt of lightning that descended rapidly from the sky, becoming brighter and larger... occupying his entire field of vision, “Rumble...!!!”

In the deafening sound, golden thunder descended from the sky, instantly enveloping the main gate and the high walls on both sides.

The high walls and the gate, which were two zhang tall, collapsed with a crash.

The dust was covered and beaten down by the heavy rain.

The ground shook for a moment.

The villagers were startled and stared blankly at the collapsed ruins... Yu Mengzhang continued his celestial patrol, his massive dragon body advancing through the clouds, appearing and disappearing.

He was currently consuming the Dragon Qi of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan.

He had only used less than ten percent so far.

But what was more exhausted was his Divine Soul!

He could not hold on for too long.

However, the damage that should have appeared vanished.

As he moved the clouds and distributed the rain, bestowing sweet rain, countless specks of golden light seemed to rise from the ground and gather on his body.

Those golden lights merged into his Divine Soul.

“It's... Karma.”

Yu Mengzhang understood, a flash of surprise and joy crossing his dragon eyes.

To make the Azure Dragon fully manifest depended on Bloodline, Dragon Qi, and Karma. Now he had obtained Dragon Qi and had also gained an unexpected harvest of Karma!

What was the use of Karma? One was good fortune, and the other was the favor of the Great Dao, gaining the recognition of heaven and earth.

His Divine Soul seemed to become more solid at this moment.

Soon, he arrived above the flooded land.

A rolling mountain torrent of brownish-yellow water fell from upstream, carrying huge rocks and pressing down toward the downstream villages.

The grasslands and villages along the way were submerged and swallowed.

Countless people and livestock were wailing inside.

Yu Mengzhang dived down once again.

He did not hide his tracks. Although he was currently only a Divine Soul, he still had a physical form.

In an instant, he arrived above the flood.

The moment the towering muddy waves touched the dragon claws, they turned into gentle mist.

Lowering his head and gently blowing a breath of Qi, the rushing flood became like silver silk straightened by an invisible hand, and its color became clear.

“Roar...!!!”

Yu Mengzhang let out another dragon roar.

The flood seemed to freeze for a moment, then it all flew upward, swirling and gathering into a water spout.

It drilled straight into the clouds in the sky.

This was the legendary 'Dragon Sucking Water'.

“Dragon God... it's the Dragon God!”

The surviving villagers stood up tremblingly, looking at the water spout that shot into the sky, kneeling down in excitement and reverence, kowtowing repeatedly.

The azure scales reflected the lightning as he took all the floodwater back into the clouds... At the same time, Yu Mengzhang's actions triggered a resonance among many powerful experts.

In the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School, a sword light tore through the sky.

In the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, a dragon roar shot straight into the clouds.

On the mountain where the Clear Sky Sect lived in seclusion, a mysterious light also soared into the sky.

Inside Heaven Dou City, an azure figure landed unwillingly and then also rushed toward Yu Mengzhang's direction.

Four figures gathered in mid-air, looking at each other from afar.

Excitement showed on every face.

“Not a Spirit Beast, not a Spirit Master...”

Sword Douluo gripped the Seven Kill Sword. “Such a phenomenon, triggering heavenly might, can only be...”

“A God!!!”

The other three said simultaneously, beyond excited.

The Douluo Continent had not seen a god for tens of thousands of years.

As Spirit Masters, faced with a miracle, they could not refuse the temptation to catch a glimpse of the true form!

“Go!!!”

All four figures used the fastest speed of their lives, rushing toward the direction of the 'Dragon Sucking Water'...
