6: A fleeting glimpse, enough to inspire awe.

Five streaks of light arrived one after another above the "Waterspout."

A massive Waterspout, over fifty meters in diameter, swept up all the floodwaters on the ground, funneling them toward the sky and directly into the clouds.

The flooding on the ground receded, and the survivors knelt on the earth, praying.

One after another, they cried out for the "Dragon God," their voices filled with fanaticism and excitement.

Sword Douluo knit his brows and approached the Waterspout. After getting within a dozen meters, he hastily stopped and pulled back again.

"Such a sight... can only be explained as a miracle!"

Sword Douluo said in a heavy voice.

The others all surrounded the Waterspout, gazing at this world-class wonder.

Poison Douluo's expression was grave as he said, "At such a scale, even if we used our Spirit Avatar, we would likely be ground to pieces if we got caught in it!"

"..."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

A Titled Douluo was merely the pinnacle of Mortals, yet they could not be compared to celestial phenomena.

Even a First-Rank God from the Divine Realm, exerting their full power, could probably only affect half the continent.

Tang Xiao looked up at the sky, toward the place where the Waterspout finally disappeared.

"Will the deity be up there? Since he intervened, he must be a merciful god who acted to save the common people."

Tang Xiao had been living in seclusion within the Clear Sky Sect, but now he felt a stirring impulse.

Yu Yuanzhen, the First Master of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, used his Spirit Avatar to transform into a Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon and glanced downward.

"The people below are shouting for the Dragon God. Could the one who bestowed this miracle truly be... the Dragon God?"

"We'll know once we go up and look! We will soon find out what kind of deity it is!"

Tang Xiao said directly, immediately transforming into a streak of light and constantly ascending.

The others exchanged glances and followed, charging upward as well.

With a deity nearby, none of them could convince themselves to stay behind!

Four figures rapidly ascended along the Waterspout.

Soon, they reached an altitude of several thousand meters.

At this point, they were forced to stop; the intense low temperatures and Astral Winds were pushing them to their limits.

If they continued upward, they would definitely be unable to endure it.

However, the Waterspout still showed no sign of ending.

They looked up, but still could not see the top.

Tang Xiao and the others fell silent, feeling somewhat discouraged for a moment.

Even though they were at the strongest Realm of the Douluo Continent, they were still so insignificant before a deity.

They didn't even have the chance to behold the divine countenance!

"A deity... is the gap truly this vast?" Sword Douluo sighed, speaking helplessly.

Poison Douluo and the others all felt an unspeakable sense of loss.

Tang Xiao suddenly shouted, "Lord Deity, I, the Mortal Tang Xiao, implore you for an audience! I hope you will grant it!!!"

His voice gradually faded, dispersing into the surroundings.

However, no deity responded.

Everyone's spirits sank; a sense of insignificance they had never felt before welled up in their hearts.

Previously, they had all more or less possessed a mindset of looking down on others, having reached the pinnacle of Spirit Masters—the Titled Douluo!

But the current reality made them recognize their true weight.

It turned out that before a deity, they were no different from the ordinary people below; they were all just ants!

They couldn't even earn a single glance from the deity.

Poison Douluo coughed a few times, being the first to find the strain unbearable.

He had forced himself to reach this height; in terms of actual Soul Power, he could not compare to the other three present.

"I'm going down..."

Poison Douluo said in a heavy voice.

"Everyone, this place is not far from my clan. Since you are here, why not come to my clan as guests? We can also discuss our insights."

Yu Yuanzhen suddenly suggested.

"That sounds fine..."

...On the other side, Yu Mengzhang returned to the vicinity of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan.

His Divine Soul could no longer hold out.

The drought spanned a thousand miles. To control the water volume and prevent it from turning into a flood, he had only looked after about a hundred miles of parched land.

Plenty of Dragon Qi remained, but his Divine Soul was struggling to continue.

Although he was somewhat overextended, he was not injured thanks to the protection of the golden light of Karma.

On his way back, Yu Mengzhang suddenly saw a little girl crying in the woods next to a broken tree that had been struck by lightning.

He rushed into the woods, transforming from his dragon form into a human form.

However, it was not the appearance of a child, but an adult form.

He had long jet-black hair, two horns on his forehead, and a handsome face, yet he possessed an otherworldly temperament. His golden pupils flickered, carrying a nobility that looked down upon the Mortal world.

The little girl was crying very hard, her nose running.

In the rain, she looked like an abandoned little animal.

Yu Mengzhang came before her and picked her up.

The little girl looked at Yu Mengzhang blankly.

Yu Mengzhang walked out of the woods. As he moved, a patch directly above him stopped raining.

"Big Brother... are, are you a deity?"

The little girl sniffled and asked in confusion.

Yu Mengzhang shook his head slightly. He glanced at the ground in front of him, and a gust of fresh wind swept through, drying the patch of earth before he placed the little girl down.

He raised his hand and pointed into the air. A circular gap appeared in the thick dark clouds, and a beam of sunlight spilled through.

It happened to shine right on the little girl.

"!!!" The little girl cheered, reaching out to catch the sunlight.

While all around her, the rain continued to pitter-patter down.

"Deity Big Brother, you're so amazing..."

The little girl said admiringly.

Yu Mengzhang nodded gently, his figure fading as he transformed into an Azure Dragon and flew into the sky.

Just then, the sound of galloping hooves echoed from the distance.

On this road, Xue Qinghe's convoy was racing toward this direction.

"Deity Big Brother..." The little girl was startled, but she could no longer see Yu Mengzhang's figure.

A moment later.

Xue Qinghe and the others arrived. Looking at the little girl who was uniquely graced by the sunlight, they were all stunned.

The surroundings were a curtain of rain, yet only this small patch was illuminated by sunlight, peaceful and serene.

"A... a miracle!" a knight couldn't help but exclaim.

Xue Qinghe was dazed, staring in the direction Yu Mengzhang had left, his heart burning with fervor.

A deity... Yu Mengzhang's Divine Soul returned to its place.

The surrounding anomalies also completely vanished.

The Dragon Qi that had returned with him all let out joyful dragon roars.

Of course, outsiders could not see these.

The sound of footsteps rang out.

The Tomb-guarding Soul Master walked over and said in surprise, "You, you didn't leave? You stayed here all night?"

Yu Mengzhang turned around and looked at him calmly.

"Has the clan's Spirit Fight begun?"

"!!!"

The Tomb-guarding Soul Master was stunned. The words of reprimand he had intended to say got stuck in his throat; he couldn't utter a single syllable.

The Yu Mengzhang before his eyes had not changed in appearance compared to yesterday.

But his temperament had undergone an earth-shaking transformation.

Despite his short stature, he gave the man an urge to prostrate himself in worship.

It was as if this wasn't a child, but... a deity who required his worship!

Yes, that temperament should be called... divinity!

Looking into Yu Mengzhang's golden eyes, he hastily lowered his head, his voice dry. "It... it's started, it's currently underway..."

"Thank you."

Yu Mengzhang nodded and walked away.

Although he had already brought down the rain, he still wanted that prize money.

The Tomb-guarding Soul Master kept his head bowed throughout, as if facing something sacred.
