annihilation

The thunder on the Myriad Thunder Plateau was still crackling. White Night had just placed the ninth Thunder Elemental Origin Shard into his palm, the gray-black lightning on his fingertips not yet dispersed.

The corpse of the Thunder Prison Mad Dragon on the ground was shriveling at a visible rate.

The thunder energy within its body had been thoroughly drained by White Night, and even the patterns on its scales had lost their luster.

[Current Mission Progress: 9/10]

"Just one more..."

White Night murmured to himself.

Immediately after, he stepped forward, preparing to quickly collect the last Origin Shard.

Just then.

A dark purplefissure suddenly tore open in the sky, and over a hundred streaks of Star Radiance fell like meteors, smashing countless deep pits into the ground.

As the dust settled, a hundred Starfall Civilization professionals spread out in a fan shape. The three leaders were all clad in dark gold battle armor, with star patterns on their armor interwoven into triple star rings. The emblem on their chests read "Three-Star Marshal" - this was the top combat power the Starfall Civilization could deploy, each possessing the strength of a mid-Sixth Turn, and the three working together could shake a Peak Sixth Turn.

"You low-level civilization scum, did you kill my Starfall Civilization's Star General and Nine-Star Marshal?"

The Three-Star Marshal on the left spoke with a voice like thunder. His Star Fall Battle Blade pointed directly at White Night, and the star patterns on the blade lit up, actually causing the surrounding thunder to stagnate. "We just detected that it took you ten minutes to kill the Thunder Prison Mad Dragon? With such trash combat power, do you even deserve to be arrogant in the Lei Jin World?"

The Three-Star Marshal in the middle sneered, raising his hand to wave. The hundred Star Fall professionals behind him simultaneously released their Star Power, and the dark purple Star Radiance converged into a thousand-zhang long Star Fall Torrent. The torrent was mixed with countless tiny Space Fragments, and wherever it passed, even the rocks of the plateau were ground into powder.

"I'll give you a chance: kneel down and lick our boots clean, and perhaps we'll leave your corpse intact."

The Three-Star Marshal on the right was even more direct. His Star Power condensed into a long spear, which he threw through the air towards White Night's glabella: "Why waste words with an ant from a low-level civilization? Just kill him and take his thunder equipment back for research!"

The moment the spear broke through the air, White Night didn't even look at it.

He merely raised his left hand, and the gray-black lightning in his palm automatically surged out, forming a half-foot thick thunder wall.

The spear struck the thunder wall with a crisp "crack," its star patterns shattering inch by inch, and the spearhead instantly crumbled into dust.

This scene caused the three Three-Star Marshals to freeze simultaneously, and the laughter of the hundred Star Fall professionals came to an abrupt halt.

"Interesting."

The Three-Star Marshal on the left's expression darkened, and the three of them attacked simultaneously.

The Star Fall Battle Blade transformed into a stream of light, slashing towards White Night's neck. The Star Fall Torrent in the middle accelerated its crushing advance, and the Three-Star Marshal on the right condensed a large net of Star Power, attempting to trap White Night in place—this was the Starfall Civilization's ultimate killing formation, "Three Stars Annihilation," which had once slain a Peak Sixth Turn exotic beast.

A thunder pattern flashed beneath White Night's feet, and his figure vanished from the spot.

"Space Law?!" The three Three-Star Marshals exclaimed in unison. They had never imagined that a professional from a low-level civilization could master such pure Space Law.

The next second, White Night's figure appeared behind the hundred Star Fall professionals.

The Eternal Demon Blade had unsheathed at some unknown point. The gray-black lightning on the blade was mixed with faint purple spatial streaks. With a casual swing, a horizontal blade energy, like cutting tofu, simultaneously sliced the hundred Star Fall professionals in half at the waist.

Blood and minced flesh splattered across the plateau rocks. The hundred professionals didn't even have time to scream before their bodies turned into countless specks of light, leaving only a scattered array of weapons and emblems on the ground.

"You're courting death!" The Three-Star Marshal on the left's eyes were bloodshot as his Star Fall Battle Blade slashed down with world-shattering might.

White Night dodged sideways, then backhanded a slash onto his battle armor's shoulder guard.

There was no earth-shattering collision. The dark gold battle armor split open like paper, its shoulder guard and half of his body directly sheared off by the blade energy, revealing the dissipating Star Power Origin within.

"Ah—!" The Three-Star Marshal let out a shrill scream, his eyes filled with terror. "Impossible! My battle armor is Star Radiance-grade! How could you..."

Before he could finish, White Night had already appeared before the Three-Star Marshal in the middle.

Facing the crushing Star Fall Torrent, he merely extended his right hand, and the lightning in his palm suddenly erupted with an all-consuming suction force.

The violent Star Fall Torrent, as if encountering a whirlpool, was forcibly sucked into his palm, transforming into pure thunder energy that nourished his own body.

"This... this is Law Devouring?!" The Three-Star Marshal in the middle completely panicked, turning to flee.

But White Night's blade energy was faster, piercing through his back to his chest, completely shattering his Star Power core.

The remaining Three-Star Marshal on the right was scared out of his wits. He didn't even bother releasing his Star Power net, turning to flee in the direction of the Starfall Civilization, roaring, "You can't kill me! I am a direct disciple of the Starfall Civilization's Elder Council! If you kill me, the Starfall Civilization will deploy all its forces and flatten your civilization!"

White Night's voice came from behind him, calm but with bone-chilling coldness: "Flatten my civilization? I'll be waiting."

A gray-black bolt of lightning shot from his fingertip, chasing the fleeing Three-Star Marshal as if it had eyes, piercing him from back to chest.

The last Three-Star Marshal's body froze in mid-air. His Star Power Origin burst open like a punctured balloon, and along with his screams, dissipated into the wind.

Three Three-Star Marshals and a hundred Star Fall professionals, from the moment they attacked to their complete annihilation, took less than ten breaths.

White Night stood with his blade sheathed. Only the pungent smell of blood and the scorched odor of dissipating Star Power remained on the plateau.

He didn't even glance at the remains on the ground, his gaze fixed on the progress of [Thunder Elemental Origin Shard: 9/10], his fingertip lightly tapping the hilt of his blade.

Just then, the heavens and earth suddenly trembled violently.

A vibration a hundred times stronger than the previous battle came from the center of the plateau.

In the distance, the sky was torn open by a seven-colored light pillar. Within the light pillar flowed Law fluctuations a thousand times stronger than Star Radiance-grade treasures. A rhomboid crystal could vaguely be seen floating in the light pillar, and the thunder patterns on the crystal's surface resonated strongly with the Thunder Law within White Night's body.

"This is..." White Night looked up, a clear ripple appearing in his eyes for the first time. "The core of the Thunder Elemental Origin?"

He no longer hesitated, his figure transforming into a faint purple lightning streak, speeding towards the light pillar.

The Peak Fifth Turn monsters along the way tried to block him, but he didn't want to waste any more time.

In an instant, those monsters were shattered by the thunder aura emanating from his body, not even having time to scream.

Meanwhile, the Starfall Civilization's emergency communications were frantically transmitting:

"All Three-Star Marshals annihilated! A hundred elites dead!"

"Target too strong! Requesting backup!"

"The opponent controls both Space and Thunder Laws! At least True God-level combat power!"

On the other end of the communication, the elders of the Starfall Civilization had grim expressions, completely unaware that their teacups had shattered on the ground.

They had never imagined that a professional from a low-level civilization could cause such devastating damage to the Starfall Civilization's forces in the Lei Jin World—those were three Three-Star Marshals and a hundred elites!

Fury, like a plague, spread through the upper echelons of the Starfall Civilization...
