95: Underwater Temple
After determining the hidden location of the final BOSS, Lin Feng did not act immediately.
He glanced at the three Elf Sentinels who were slowly regaining consciousness and knew that taking them to explore the unknown underwater temple together was clearly not a wise choice.
So, he patiently waited in place for about ten minutes.
When the first Elf Sentinel slowly woke up and looked at him with eyes full of confusion and gratitude, Lin Feng directly took out a "Fixed-Point Teleportation Scroll" from his backpack, which emitted spatial fluctuations.
This was a high-level item he had specifically purchased during his resupply in Emerald City, which could directly teleport the user back to the nearest safe haven.
"You all go back to the village first and tell Elder Alvin that things here are not completely over yet."
Lin Feng handed the scroll to the Elf Sentinel who seemed to be in the best condition, saying in an unquestionable tone, "I will handle the rest."
The Elf Sentinel looked at Lin Feng, then at the terrifying scene around them, which had been completely frozen and stained red, like a Shura hell, his eyes filled with deep awe and shock.
He dared not disobey in any way, only nodded heavily, and then, taking his two companions, activated the Teleportation Scroll, transforming into a white light and disappearing from the spot.
After sending off these "burdens," Lin Feng finally refocused all his attention on the area before him, which was full of the unknown and danger.
Underwater Temple.
Just hearing the name, one knew that it was definitely a combat environment extremely unfriendly to land creatures.
If any other top player came here, even a Level 35 elite team, when facing the challenge of such an unknown purely underwater environment, they would have to be extremely vigilant and make thorough preparations.
They would need to buy expensive underwater breathing potions to ensure they wouldn't drown.
They would need to find shoes enchanted with underwater walking effects to overcome the huge resistance in the water.
They would even need to specifically learn some skills suitable for underwater combat to prevent their combat power from being greatly weakened.
The entire preparation process was cumbersome and extremely costly.
Even a slight misstep, being surrounded by monsters underwater, could lead to the tragic outcome of a complete annihilation.
But, for Lin Feng, these so-called difficulties were just trivial matters.
He looked at the murky lake water before him, a confident smile on his face.
Then, he simply issued an order to his most loyal "Ice and Snow Emperor."
"Little Ice, this lake..."
"Split it open for me."
"Guji!"
The Frost Slime King, this noble Frost Monarch, let out an excited response upon hearing its master's domineering command!
Its eyes, made of ice crystals, flashed with a majestic authority that seemed to look down upon the world!
It slowly raised its hands, made of ten-thousand-year profound ice, high above its head!
A surge of Frost Divine Power, more massive, purer, and more terrifying than any previous instance, began to furiously condense between its palms!
The surrounding air seemed to have been sucked dry.
The temperature of the entire Moonshadow Lake area plummeted to an appalling freezing point in that instant!
Even the sky began to snow heavily, with flakes like goose feathers!
The next second, a giant "Blade of Ice," a hundred meters long, shimmering with an ethereal blue divine light, as if intending to cleave heaven and earth in two, condensed above its head!
Then, carrying a terrifying might that seemed to split the heavens and earth, it fiercely slashed down towards the murky lake surface!
Boom—!!!!
An earth-shattering roar loud enough to shake the entire Elf Forest!
The vast Moonshadow Lake, under this world-destroying blow, was actually... forcefully split down the middle, creating a huge chasm dozens of meters wide and unfathomably deep!
The murky lake water was furiously pushed aside by an irresistible, terrifying force!
And, upon contact with the extreme cold, it instantly froze into two incredibly thick, crystal-clear giant ice walls!
A dry and safe "underwater path" leading to the bottom of the lake miraculously appeared before Lin Feng!
This was the terrifying power of a Lord-level BOSS!
This was the absolute suppression from a Frost Monarch!
What underwater breathing potions, what underwater walking shoes...
In the face of Lin Feng's simple and crude, almost "Moses parting the sea"-like, heaven-defying operation, they all seemed so ridiculous and powerless!
"Very good."
Lin Feng looked with satisfaction at the spectacular scene before him, like a miracle, then took a step and leisurely walked down this "broad road" leading to the bottom of the lake.
As he delved deeper, the surrounding light became increasingly dim.
The bottom of the lake was piled with thick mud and countless unknown creatures' skeletons, emitting a strong stench of decay.
And in the center of that mud and skeletons, a massive temple, constructed from black, unknown coral and giant skeletons, filled with evil and eerie energy, stood silently, radiating a chilling power of the abyss.
God-level Hint: You have discovered a hidden area—'Naga Abyssal Temple.'
God-level Hint: Inside the temple, large numbers of 'Abyssal Naga' and 'Mutated Water Elementals' are entrenched, guarding the path to the final throne.
God-level Hint: The optimal route to the temple's core area has been automatically planned for you. Furthermore, the precise locations of all 'hidden treasures' and 'dangerous traps' on this map have been marked for you.
Lin Feng looked at the incredibly clear 3D temple map in his vision, and the corner of his mouth curved up slightly again.
He knew that he was about to embark on another treasure hunt, full of surprises and rewards.
With a wave of his hand, he summoned all seven of his equally battle-ready Slime Monarchs.
Stepping into the Naga Abyssal Temple, which was filled with evil and decaying aura, Lin Feng immediately felt the surrounding air become thick and oppressive.
The interior of the temple was an incredibly spacious cave built from black reefs and giant creature skeletons.
The dome of the cave was embedded with countless phosphorescent stones emitting a faint blue light, illuminating the entire temple like a ghostly realm.
The air was filled with a strong, nauseating smell of blood and sulfur, clearly indicating that this was the area most severely corroded by abyssal power.
"Guji!"
Lin Feng's seven powerful Slime Monarchs all seemed to feel somewhat uncomfortable in this environment full of negative energy.
