8: Colt, uncover the mutant leopard skull!

“Is the Host crazy?”

“The sound clearly came from behind him; I can hear it clearly from here, so why is he running towards it?”

“I don’t know!”

“Is the Host trying to get himself killed?”

“It was so hard to find a good-looking live stream, and I haven’t watched for long before the Host is going to die. Sigh, how melancholic…”

“What nonsense are you spouting?!”

“Quickly call the police, find someone to save the Host!”

“Who knows the Ulan Country’s emergency number?”

...Just as the bullet comments were worried about Wu Tian and Rice’s predicament, about fifty meters to their side, in the bushes!

A fierce beast... pounced out first!

“Roar!”

A furious roar!

A leopard, as big as a small calf, sprang from the bushes with an arched back, standing still.

It stared menacingly at the two running figures.

Wu Tian was startled, then turned his head to look in the direction of the roar.

Upon seeing it!

Wu Tian was instantly dumbfounded!

Is this really a leopard and not a prehistoric saber-toothed tiger?

The leopard in the photos on the laptop before was only a bit larger in size!

Who would have thought?

Just twenty years later... this leopard, besides its enormous size, powerful muscles, and slender limbs!

It also had fangs a full half-meter long!

At this moment, it was dripping with turbid, foul-smelling saliva, its pair of scarlet eyes fixed on the two!

It seemed to be locking onto its prey!

“Oh my goodness!”

Rice’s plump body trembled.

“How did this thing grow so big?”

“By devouring other animals?”

“No!”

Wu Tian shook his head, speaking in a low voice.

“With such a huge body, and its predatory gaze upon seeing us, I’m afraid... it grew by eating people, and it’s eaten quite a few over the years!”

“...”

Rice’s mouth twitched.

He looked at Wu Tian in front of him with a desperate gaze.

“No...”

“Since this thing is so dangerous, why are we still running forward?”

“If we get surrounded later, we’ll both die!”

“Not necessarily!”

Wu Tian’s eyes lit up; having just crossed the railway bridge, he had already spotted a section of rusted train car not far away.

He quickened his pace again!

He dashed towards the overturned train car.

“Hurry up!”

“Follow me, there’s a train car over there, we should be able to hide inside!”

“Hide in the train?”

Rice was stunned, almost crying.

“We can clearly run, why should we hide inside a train car?”

“Isn’t that waiting to die?”

“Less talk!”

“Hurry!”

Wu Tian saw the Mutated Leopard not far away already stirring, and immediately pulled hard, speeding up with Rice!

“...”

Rice felt a wave of despair.

He really wanted to escape, but he... couldn’t!

He could only follow Wu Tian, scrambling to run towards the overturned train car under the railway bridge!

And just then!

The Mutated Leopard in the distance seemed to have discovered Wu Tian and the fat man’s intentions, a murderous glint flashed in its scarlet eyes, and it quickly lunged towards the two!

Moreover... the Mutated Leopard’s running speed was three or four times faster than before its mutation, if not more!

Wu Tian and Rice only felt a black phantom flash before their eyes, and the Mutated Leopard’s huge fangs were already close to them.

The foul, fishy smell from the leopard’s mouth assailed them!

“Holy crap!”

Rice shuddered, his face changing.

“Damn it, this leopard’s mouth stinks so much, did it eat poop or something?!”

“Don’t worry about whether he ate poop or not!”

“Quick!”

“Rush in with me!”

Wu Tian didn’t even look back, pulling the fat man and rushing towards the half-open train door of the train car!

Whoosh!

Wu Tian leaped over!

Directly into the carriage!

Thud!

A loud bang!

Rice... hit the doorframe!

“Holy crap!”

Rice’s face turned pale with fright, he squeezed into the half-open carriage door using both hands and feet, screaming like a pig being slaughtered.

“Quick!”

“Boss, quickly pull me in!”

“My butt is stuck!”

“That leopard is going to bite my butt!”

“Damn it...”

Wu Tian cursed under his breath.

He quickly turned and began pulling Rice, who was stuck in the doorway!

But unfortunately, the latter was simply too fat, his butt and waist were equally thick, like a two-headed barrel stuck in the doorframe, and no matter how Wu Tian pulled, he didn’t budge!

“Damn it!”

Wu Tian grew anxious.

Watching the Mutated Leopard approach the fat man’s butt step by step, saliva already dripping from its sharp fangs.

This dead fat man just wouldn’t come in no matter how he pulled!

“Get in...”

“Get in!”

Rice was on the verge of collapse!

He used both feet, frantically digging at the ground, putting all his strength into trying to squeeze himself in!

But!

He was still firmly stuck in the doorframe, not moving at all.

“Roar!”

The Mutated Leopard, now behind Rice, hesitated no longer!

It opened its huge mouth and bit down fiercely on Rice!

“Pfft!”

“...”

A loud bang!

Then the whole world fell silent.

The Mutated Leopard looked at the big butt in front of it with a bewildered expression, while Rice looked at Wu Tian with an equally bewildered expression!

Wu Tian looked utterly confused.

“You... you farted again?”

“...”

“Boss, is this the time to be concerned about that?”

“Quick, think of something!”

“If I don’t get in, this thing is going to bite me again!”

[You were a bit dizzy from Rice’s fart, so you shook your head to try and clear the stench, but as you shook your head, you discovered a colt pistol on your left, left behind in the carriage by who knows who. It still has nine bullets, which should be enough to kill the leopard!]

!

Wu Tian’s eyes suddenly lit up.

He then let go of the fat man’s hand and sharply turned his head to look to his left!

“Boss?!”

Rice was startled.

Then he twisted his body, screaming like a pig.

“Don’t abandon me!”

“I am your most loyal minion, save me, I’ll follow you for life...”

Click!

Wu Tian, who was familiar with firearms, instantly flicked the colt as he grabbed it, shaking off the thick dust.

Then he racked the slide and released the safety!

He extended the barrel through the gap beside the fat man’s face!

“Bang!”

“Bang bang!”

Three loud shots rang out, and the Mutated Leopard, with its mouth wide open, had its upper jaw blown off by Wu Tian’s three bullets. After its body stiffened, it fell to the ground with a ‘thud’.

After a few twitches, it stopped moving.

Gurgling blood flowed from its head!

It was incredibly foul-smelling!

“Boss...”

Feeling the warmth beside his face, Rice shook his buzzing head.

“Where did you get that colt?”

“Impressive!”

“Heh heh...”

Wu Tian smiled faintly.

“It shot out of your butt!”
