122: Chapter 122 The Bone Dragon Sets Off, Leaving Not a Blade of Grass Alive

Floating City, Lords Hall.

Xu Qin sat on the bone throne, resting his head on one hand, the command panel in front of him.

Eighty points of light were moving rapidly, spreading out in eight directions.

On the map, those small red dots representing enemy troops were vanishing at high speed.

One, two, three...

Xu Qin opened the battle log for one of the groups.

[Kills: Windbird Infantry × 340...]

[Kills: Rock-Skin Slinger × 220...]

The speed was so fast it was scrolling off the screen.

"It really has to be dragons," Xu Qin remarked with a sigh.

Eighty enhanced Bone Dragons, dealing with a coalition of this level, was no different from mowing grass.

He closed the battle log and turned to look at Tian Ming.

"Tian Ming."

"Yes, Master."

"Let's go."

"Where to?"

"To the ruins, of course."

Xu Qin stood up and stretched, "When the Bone Dragons march, nothing is left behind, and there's no resources left to scavenge if we stay."

"Let's go, we have real work to do."

"Yes, Master."

Xu Qin opened the Floating City control panel and entered the coordinates of the ruins.

Hum.

The Floating City changed direction and accelerated towards the northeast.

On the battlefield behind them, the dragons' breath continued to flash.

...In the northeast, seventeen kilometers away.

Chieftain Gelake abandoned all his infantry, taking only three Iron-Back War Wolves, and dived into the dense forest to the east.

The Iron-Back War Wolves were fast, kicking up a trail of dust.

"Old friends, hold on a little longer!" Chieftain Gelake felt he could escape.

The dragons were huge and couldn't maneuver in the dense forest. As long as he got deep into the woods, he could survive...

Suddenly! Whoosh! The sound of beating wings came from behind.

Chieftain Gelake looked back. He saw ten Bone Dragons flying above the canopy. They didn't dive into the dense forest, but instead opened their mouths.

Boom! Purple soul fire breath poured down from above the canopy.

The flames pierced through the canopy, igniting everything within a twenty-meter radius. The entire forest, along with the War Wolves running on the ground, was instantly swallowed by flames.

A second before the flames touched his body, Chieftain Gelake rolled off his War Wolf and tumbled into a shallow ditch.

The flames swept over his head. All three Iron-Back War Wolves were reduced to ashes.

Chieftain Gelake lay in the ditch, not daring to breathe. He covered his mouth, waiting for the dragons to leave.

However, the airflow from the flapping bone wings kept blowing. They hadn't left.

Chieftain Gelake pressed himself tightly against the ground, not moving an inch.

Thirty seconds later, the sound of wings finally vanished.

Chieftain Gelake remained lying face down, motionless. Two minutes later, he finally lowered his hand from his mouth and poked his head out of the shallow ditch.

Then... the skull of a Bone Dragon was staring at him from outside the shallow ditch. The dark purple flames in its eye sockets flickered coldly.

"Ah!!!" Chieftain Gelake screamed in terror.

Whoosh! Dragon breath descended.

...To the south.

The Birdman Lord Kora was flying in the sky with four hundred soldiers.

His idea was simple. The world was vast; if they scattered, surely they couldn't all be chased by dragons, right?

Kora broke the four hundred Windbird warriors into forty squads, scattering them in ten directions. He took twenty elites and charged full speed toward the south.

Three minutes later, he discovered two Bone Dragons following them. And they were getting closer.

Seeing this, Kora gritted his teeth and ordered the warriors beside him. "You ten, go stop them!"

Ten Windbird warriors obeyed, turned around, and charged toward the dragons. Kora continued to flee with the remaining ten soldiers.

But they hadn't even flown a hundred meters when screams from the Windbird warriors came from behind.

A sky-filling breath of dragon fire burned the ten Windbirds, leaving not even bone fragments behind. Moreover, these two Bone Dragons that were chasing them didn't even slow down.

"Split off another ten! Block them!" Another ten Windbirds turned back. But, another breath of dragon fire followed.

At this moment, Kora had no rearguard troops left. He looked back at the pursuing dragons, only to find that the massive dragon skull had cast a shadow over him.

"No!"

...To the east.

The Lizardman Lord Saku was the first to flee.

He ran fast enough and dived straight into an underground river. Lizardmen are natural swimmers and can hold their breath underwater for over ten minutes.

Saku took thirty elite Lizardman warriors and swam two kilometers along the river. Until he couldn't hear any sound from outside at all, he surfaced and lay on the riverbank, breathing heavily.

"It should... be safe." He opened his command panel and looked at the alliance channel.

Gelake, Kora, Tu'er, Bulo... twenty-four names had turned gray.

Saku was shaking all over in fear. How long had it been? Out of thirty-two lords, twenty-four had already fallen.

The remaining eight that were lit up were also turning gray one by one.

"Run! Keep running!"

Saku ordered his soldiers, "Follow the river, keep going downstream..."

Boom. The river water suddenly began to boil. Saku looked up and saw dark purple light seeping in through the cracks.

Rumble! Bang! The entire rock layer shattered instantly. Immediately after, a Bone Dragon poked in from the collapsed opening and breathed onto the water surface.

"How is this possible! I clearly already..."

Whoosh! Soul energy flames submerged him.

...Forty-five minutes later.

The last red marker on the command panel disappeared.

The voice of the Bone Dragons came back through the command link. "Master, mission accomplished."

"Thirty-two lords, all killed. None escaped."

Xu Qin gave a thumbs up to the command panel. "Awesome!"

Eighty Bone Dragons wiped out a coalition with 120,000 troops.

"Very good, come back."

"As you command."

Xu Qin closed the communication, stood up, and walked to the Watchtower. At this moment, the Floating City had already flown near the ruins.

He looked down and saw, within a twenty-kilometer radius around the ruins, forty to fifty alien territories scattered like stars in the sky.

No, calling them territories didn't seem quite accurate. Because they looked like a collection of crude, low-level sub-cities and outposts.

Xu Qin opened the command panel and pulled up the reconnaissance report sent by the Sand Rats. Good heavens, is the total troop strength 180,000?

Xu Qin finished reading the data and closed the panel with satisfaction.

"180,000 multiplied by 20..."

"A fat harvest."

He turned to look at Tian Ming beside him and said: "Tian Ming."

"Here."

"Take the Minotaur, Blade Guard, Jackal Hunter, Chuan Yun, and Tietang."

Xu Qin opened the Combat Readiness Platform troop deployment panel and selected all the Bone Beasts, Elven Archers, Dwarf Musketeers, Undead Sand Jackals, and Minotaurs.

"Clear this place out."

"Yes, Master."

Tian Ming turned and walked toward the Combat Readiness Platform. The Minotaur, Blade Guard, and Jackal Hunter all hurried to catch up. Then came Chuan Yun and Tietang... Several heroes all slowly stepped into the shadows of the Lords Hall.

Boom! The eight bone gates of the Combat Readiness Platform opened simultaneously.

Woo-ooo~~~

Tens of thousands of undead soldiers poured out.

The dark mass of the Undead Army split into five columns and surged toward the alien territories on the outskirts of the ruins.

Xu Qin rested his hands on the railing of the Watchtower, watching this scene. He chuckled softly.
