47: Chapter 47 Slaughtering All

But the patrol range Xu Qin set for the Skeleton Vulture is five kilometers.

If the enemy also has aerial reconnaissance units...

For instance, the Elf Race is naturally adept at reconnaissance and tracking.

If they use special means to discover the traces of the Undead at a greater distance...

They could trace the flight path of the Vulture backward to roughly pinpoint the location of the territory.

"Perhaps this is the reason they found me?"

Xu Qin did not overthink it.

He directly opened the command panel and issued an order.

"Tian Ming, Blade Guard, Minotaur, Jackal Hunter, return to the territory immediately."

An order was issued.

On the regional map,

the formation icons of the four heroes turned around almost simultaneously.

Xu Qin put away the map and walked quickly to the gap in the Bone Wall.

"All garrison troops, enter defensive formation. Reinforce the various sections of the Bone Wall and activate all watchtowers."

With the order given, nearly a thousand Undead began to move.

Cannon fodder units like the Skeleton Warthog, Sand Snake, and Sand Scorpion lined up in three rows along the inside of the Bone Wall.

The Minotaur stood at the corners, blocking potential breakthroughs.

The Sand Jackal crouched behind the Bone Wall, waiting for enemies to climb over.

Xu Qin stood at the highest point of the Graveyard and reopened the regional map.

The yellow dot was still moving, the distance slightly closing.

He narrowed his eyes.

So, the question is,

what do these people want by coming to his territory?

The first possibility: seeking aid.

They are being chased and beaten, and seeing a territory ahead, they want to borrow the land to hide, or drag him into the mess to bear it together.

The second possibility: using a borrowed knife to kill.

What if there is a territory ahead that has just experienced a Rift invasion and is severely weakened? They could lure the pursuers to his territory, make him fight the pursuers, and they could run away during the chaos.

Xu Qin ran both possibilities through his mind.

"Whatever their goal is, just kill them."

Xu Qin chuckled.

No matter what plans the other side has, there is only one thing he needs to do now...

That is to kill.

"My Skeleton Soldier are short on Resurrection Coins; aren't these just what I need?"

Once the Minotaur and Tian Ming return, he will have over six thousand Tier 2 Undead, four heroes with full skills, plus full technological bonuses.

Three hundred mixed living species?

Heh.

He would like to see,

within that group of three hundred, if any of them can stand for more than ten seconds under Wither.

What?

You say everyone is human and should help each other?

No, we have all transmigrated, brother.

If it were the default that members of the same race cannot attack each other, that would be one thing.

But now?

Everyone is just considered a neutral faction, which means the rules allow attacks.

Since that's the case, why should I care about any of that?

Xu Qin switched back to the Vulture's high-altitude vision to carefully observe the movements of that group.

The desert wind scraped against his cheeks, bringing a thick scent of blood.

The tall, thin young man panted heavily, his legs moving forward purely on instinct.

Dozens of meters behind, the roars of the Erosion Beast drew closer and closer.

The end of the novice protection period is equivalent to completely pulling back the curtain on slaughter.

The light shield had only dissipated for ten minutes.

A tidal wave of Erosion Beast broke through his wooden wall, which he had been so proud of.

His Elven Archer didn't even get to fire a third volley before being pounced on and torn apart by the monsters.

The moment the chieftain's wooden house collapsed,

he fell from being the master of a territory to a homeless vagabond.

The human lord and Dwarf Race lord beside him were equally down and out.

The three could only temporarily team up, taking their remaining assets and fleeing deep into the wilderness.

"Faster!"

The tall, thin young man's veins bulged on his forehead,

"That Undead lord's territory is right ahead. As long as we rush in, we can survive!"

The Dwarf Race lord followed closely behind, replying with a livid face:

"Are you sure? With so many monsters, can that initial trash handle it?"

Another human lord also said anxiously:

"That's right, what if his side also collapses? Wouldn't we have run for nothing?"

"Otherwise, you choose a path?"

The tall, thin young man cursed,

"East or west? It's full of monsters all around! Only that direction, which I scouted before, has a way to live."

The two fell silent.

In the current situation, they clearly had no right to be picky.

Crossing the high sand dune ahead,

the tall, thin young man's pupils contracted sharply.

At the end of his line of sight, the vast yellow sand was covered by a large area of white bones.

A giant gray-white city rose from the ground, the solid Bone Wall reflecting a cold, chilling light.

And what made him tremble the most was the open space outside the city wall.

Thousands of the Undead Army were neatly arranged in a tight phalanx.

The tall, thin young man trembled with extreme excitement: "Did you see that! With this firepower, we are saved!"

The Dwarf Race lord and the human lord opened their eyes wide in excitement, a frenzy for survival igniting in their pupils.

The three immediately perked up, leading the dozens of remaining soldiers behind them to rush over.

The tall, thin young man ran in front, raising his hands high and waving them desperately.

"Big brother! Help!"

The other two followed suit and shouted loudly.

"We are fellow countrymen! Give us a hand!"

In the center of the white bone city,

Xu Qin stood at the top of the Level 4 Graveyard.

Floating in front of him was the shared screen zoomed in by the Bone Watchtower.

Three disheveled, fleeing lords were closely followed by hundreds of Erosion Beast in the rolling dust.

"Save them?"

Xu Qin sneered.

Talking about mutual aid among countrymen in this cruel trial ground is the most foolish practice.

Letting these people in, only for them to stab him in the back, is all just a bunch of boring nonsense.

He slid the screen to focus on the rampaging monsters.

To the Undead, what is moving before them are not living creatures, but the bricks and mortar that build the Bone Empire.

Xu Qin raised his hand, his fingers swiping across the panel.

"Tian Ming, Blade Guard, Minotaur, Jackal Hunter."

The soul contract precisely spread the cold command into the consciousness of the four heroes.

"Engage the enemy. Exterminate all living creatures before the formation."

The order spread.

The army stepped forward.

The Minotaur and Jackal Hunter led two thousand seven hundred Undead to extend from the left flank, while Tian Ming and Blade Guard led three thousand three hundred Undead to close in from the right flank.

The entire formation slowly opened up.

Witnessing the Undead marching out, the tall, thin young man was moved to tears.

"So righteous! Look, he has come to help us out of the siege!"

The Dwarf Race lord following on the side faltered, his sixth sense making him aware of a potential crisis.

Something is wrong.

If it were to receive aid, this sea of skeletons should have left a gap in the middle to let them enter the city for refuge.

But why... would it form a pincer movement from both sides?

"Stop! Don't go over!" The dwarf grabbed the human's arm, "This guy wants to finish us off too!"

The human lord's face drained of color, and he immediately stopped in his tracks.

The tall, thin young man turned his head and cursed: "Are you scared stupid? It's all monsters behind, and in front..."

Before he could finish, a shadow suddenly covered the sky above.

The tall, thin young man subconsciously looked up.

He saw a massive elite Undead Erosion Beast leaping down from mid-air in a graceful parabola.

Bang!

The skeleton, weighing over a thousand jin, crashed straight onto the tall, thin young man's head.

In the center of the sunken ground,

the tall, thin young man didn't even have time to groan before he died on the spot.

Broken bones and blood slid down the pale white claws.

Seeing this, the Dwarf Race lord and the human lord felt their scalps go numb.

"Run!"

In their minds, only this one thought remained.
