90: Hunting Time

After Elder Yord died, Li Ke's gaze swept over the Yan Jin Manor, which had lost its guardian.

The night wind blew, stirring up a few withered leaves that spun and drifted down.

Ever since the Silver Armor Corpse and Elder Yord's great battle, the Manor had fallen into silence, and now it was completely silent, with most of the lights having extinguished themselves.

"Go, clean up the valuable prey," Li Ke said faintly to the Silver Armor Corpse beside him.

The tall and slender figure of the Silver Armor Corpse instantly merged into the deep shadows extending from its feet, disappearing without a trace.

The next moment, screams and chaotic crashing sounds began to erupt one after another from various corners of the Manor.

The green-skirted maid, transformed from a Faceless Paper Figure, showed an awkward expression on her pure face that was completely inconsistent with her appearance.

She seemed to have something to say but hesitated.

Li Ke glanced at her faintly.

"You go too."

The Faceless Paper Figure looked as if it had been granted a great pardon.

Its figure turned into a blurry white shadow and floated out lightly.

Along the way, it devoured several lone Manor servants.

A satisfied, twisted smile began to appear on its pale face as it quickly collected fresh human skins.

Moonlight, Li Ke water, spilled down coldly.

Yan Jin Manor was completely transformed into a hunting ground.

Most of the Clairvoyance of the Claus Family turned into withered bones under the Silver Armor Corpse's claws, their flesh and essence becoming nourishment for the Silver Armor Corpse.

Another part, under the bizarre devouring of the Faceless Paper Figure, had their flesh disappear without a trace, leaving no marks behind.

...

Kapa Claus was currently hiding in a corner behind a secluded barracks.

His face was full of terror, and he cautiously tried to sneak towards the outer edge of the Manor.

Along the way, he saw that tall, slender, strange silver humanoid more than once.

Li Ke a ghost, it would unpredictably emerge from the deep shadows cast by various buildings, only to vanish instantly the next moment.

Each appearance was precisely accompanied by a Clairvoyance's desperate scream before death.

There were also horrifying sounds of flesh being torn and gnawed, making one's scalp tingle.

That monster was wantonly moving through the Manor, treating Yan Jin Manor entirely Li Ke a restaurant!

"This is the Claus Family..."

"How could this happen..."

Kapa Claus felt a chill throughout his body, which trembled uncontrollably, slowing his movements considerably.

Suddenly!

In the dark shadow cast by a building not far from him, that strange silver humanoid suddenly emerged!

Its sharp, long claws, covered in fine silver scales, simply reached out casually,

and easily grabbed the neck of a Clairvoyance from the guard team.

"Crack!"

That Clairvoyance couldn't even let out a complete cry of surprise.

The expression on his face instantly froze, still retaining pain and shock.

Afterward, all the vitality in his body was absorbed at a terrifying speed visible to the naked eye.

"Thud."

In a blink of an eye, a vibrant life turned into a shriveled, withered corpse, casually discarded on the ground.

Then, the silver monster slowly raised its head and looked in his direction.

Kapa Claus's face instantly turned ashen white.

His heart pounded, almost leaping out of his chest.

He instinctively clamped his hand over his mouth, not daring to make the slightest sound.

At the same time, the silence ring he wore on his finger glowed faintly.

An invisible fluctuation spread out, instantly silencing all traces of his own Clairvoyance power.

"Seven..."

"Eight..."

Kapa counted silently in his heart, nervously.

The effect of the silence ring could only last for a brief fifteen breaths.

But each breath felt as long as a century.

The Silver Armor Corpse's dark eyes scanned the direction where Kapa was hiding.

It seemed to have detected no fluctuations of any Clairvoyance's aura.

A moment later, it merged back into the shadows and disappeared.

Kapa Claus dared not raise his head for a long time.

He lay there prostrate for a long time before finally confirming that he had escaped.

Then, his taut body suddenly went limp, almost collapsing to the ground.

He crawled on all fours, scrambling awkwardly to a corner behind the barracks where dry grass was piled.

He buried himself deep within the hay, which emitted a pungent musty smell,

and could no longer control himself, letting out suppressed sobs.

...

While the Silver Armor Corpse was preying within the Manor, a black light broke through the air and returned, it was the Red Dust White Bone Nail.

It carried Elder Yord's still-warm corpse and hovered in front of Li Ke.

Li Ke's expression was calm.

He reached out and took the simple-styled Storage Ring from Elder Yord's finger.

Then, his gaze fell upon the largely shattered trout statue.

Previously, it was this item that had exposed the Faceless Paper Figure's whereabouts.

He carefully examined the fragments of the statue, able to detect a unique Divine Soul aura, similar to Power Of Faith, within them.

Li Ke stretched out his hand and casually held the statue fragments in his palm.

His hand looked fair and slender, with distinct joints, as if carved from fine jade.

However, such a hand contained the terrifying strength, accumulated from the long-term feedback of the Silver Armor Corpse, sufficient to tear steel.

"Crack."

A soft sound.

The hard statue fragments were easily crushed into powder in his hand.

A wisp of extremely pure and powerful Trout Whisper Bloodline slowly emanated from the delicate powder.

This wisp of Bloodline exhibited a faint golden hue.

Its purity and refinement far surpassed the Clairvoyance Bloodline Li Ke had extracted before.

Clearly, this had been carefully extracted and purified through some special method.

The source should be this recently fallen Golden-rank expert, Elder Yord.

Li Ke recalled that Elder Yord had once referred to this trout statue as a "Bloodline Secret Artifact."

And indeed, once he obtained the statue, his strength had increased significantly.

However, such an important item was not carried by the opponent but instead stored in the treasury.

This in itself was somewhat unusual.

Moreover, during the previous battle, as soon as he obtained this trout statue, his mind showed clear signs of losing control, becoming frenzied.

Li Ke's eyes flickered slightly, and he vaguely came to a judgment in his heart.

Perhaps this "Bloodline Secret Artifact" was not merely a simple amplifying tool.

Instead, it was some kind of secret creation specifically created by the Claus Family to resist the erosion of Bloodline disease.

The statue might have carried most of the opponent's Bloodline disease symptoms.

And precisely because of this, the statue must be closely connected to the opponent, yet also intentionally separated.

It was by relying on this connection that Elder Yord forcibly intercepted the Silver Armor Corpse's movement within the Shadow Realm.

As Li Ke was contemplating, his heart suddenly stirred slightly.

An inexplicable, indescribable warning sign, without any prior indication, emerged from the depths of his heart.

It was as if some enormous crisis was rapidly approaching this place.

At this moment, the Silver Armor Corpse and Faceless Paper Figure's cleansing operation was also nearing its end.

Within the entire Yan Jin Manor, no more large-scale Clairvoyance auras could be felt.

Li Ke no longer hesitated.

He carefully put away that wisp of Golden-rank Trout Whisper Bloodline.

He casually threw the shattered pieces of the statue onto the ground.

With a thought, the Silver Armor Corpse and Faceless Paper Figure, still searching in the distance, quickly rushed back.

A moment later,

the three figures silently merged into the deep shadows on the ground.

Leaving behind only this dilapidated and messy Yan Jin Manor,

emitting a strong smell of blood in the cold night wind.
