You have some weaknesses

It was Feng Yuanqing and his group who arrived; a Saint Hall Disciple among them shouted at Ye Feng and surrounded him.

Feng Yuanqing looked at Sword Changkong's disheveled appearance and said, "What happened to you? You look awful."

"Don't die here, or your Revered Master would be so sad."

Sword Changkong was already at the end of his rope. Seeing that the person who arrived was Feng Yuanqing, he knew he was safe, and the tense string in his mind relaxed, causing him to collapse powerlessly.

Feng Yuanqing had someone help him up, then turned his head to Ye Feng and said, "You're very bold, aren't you? If I hadn't come just now, were you going to kill him?"

Ye Feng's original intention was Possession, but after learning that this was a Saint's Disciple, he abandoned that idea.

Ye Feng said coldly, "I had a duel with him; that shouldn't be against the rules, right?"

"It's not against the rules."

"But he is, after all, my friend. I won't inquire into the reasons for the conflict. You won, and I'll take him away."

"Or, you can fight me. If you win, you can deal with him as you wish."

Feng Yuanqing said indifferently, his tone filled with undeniable authority.

Ye Feng looked coldly at Feng Yuanqing, knowing that he couldn't kill Sword Changkong, and chose to leave with a flick of his sleeve.

"You should have just killed him earlier. Why did you play with him for so long?" Ye Feng's consciousness communicated with the residual soul via telepathy.

"Shut up." The residual soul old man was extremely depressed; as long as the enemy's Disciple lived, he couldn't rest or eat in peace.

"Give me control of the body," Ye Feng said.

The residual soul old man hesitated for a moment and said, "No problem, but only after I kill him."

"Do you think you still have a chance?"

"I know what I'm doing."

Ye Feng was wary of the residual soul old man in his heart; this guy had no intention of obeying his commands. He had to find a way to control him.

If he didn't obey, then the only way was to send him to his demise.

On the other side, Feng Yuanqing arranged for people to treat Sword Changkong.

Looking at his broken body, Feng Yuanqing felt a hint of doubt.

How did he lose so badly?

Under the care of the Saint Hall Disciples, Sword Changkong slowly regained consciousness.

His superficial wounds were easy to heal, but his internal injuries were very serious and would be difficult to recover from in a short time.

Sword Changkong looked at Feng Yuanqing and said indifferently, "Thank you for saving me."

Feng Yuanqing chuckled, "There's no need for thanks. I'm more curious how you got so thoroughly beaten by someone."

"That person didn't seem that strong either."

Sword Changkong remained silent, unsure if he didn't want to answer or didn't know how to answer.

Seeing his silence, Feng Yuanqing added, "With your strength, even if you couldn't win, escaping shouldn't have been a problem."

"Fighting to the death doesn't seem like the action of a smart person."

Sword Changkong said with a bitter and helpless tone, "Just don't ask."

Feng Yuanqing spread his hands in understanding. He no longer pressed the matter, merely saying, "Do you need me to leave two people to look after you? Your injuries have healed, but your essence, Qi, and blood are still depleted, and you'll need to recuperate for a while."

Sword Changkong shook his head and cupped his hands in thanks, "No need to trouble you. I have something else to do."

With that, he slowly walked away, stepping outside and ascending into the sky, disappearing into the horizon.

Meanwhile, a pair of faint eyes watched Sword Changkong's figure from the shadows, slowly following him.

"Senior Brother, is that Sword Changkong really alright? Won't he be in danger?"

"Yes, after all, he's the Personal Disciple of the Grand Elder's friend. If something happens, it might cause a stir," a Saint Hall Disciple said.

Feng Yuanqing said, "It's the path he chose; we shouldn't interfere."

"He definitely has a life-saving treasure on him. As for why he didn't use it, only he knows."

"Let's go, we're going to find that White Tiger Star Lord and tame him as a mount."

Feng Yuanqing said confidently.

He led the team forward.

...

...

Sword Changkong adjusted his Qi while flying, aimlessly wandering.

Arriving at an open area, surrounded by vast plains, he slowly descended and said, "You've been following me for half a day, come out."

Before his words finished, a young figure emerged—it was Ye Feng.

Ye Feng's killing intent remained undiminished. He had never left, constantly monitoring Sword Changkong's every move, just hoping he would be alone.

Heaven answered his wish; he truly waited until now.

"Now, no one can help you," Ye Feng said menacingly.

He held a sword in both hands, walking with a fierce killing intent, his target precisely Sword Changkong.

Sword Changkong was not ambiguous either; he held his sword, ready for a fierce battle.

The great battle thus began.

Sword Changkong's killing moves were ruthless, each strike starting with the intent to kill, aimed directly at vital points.

Because he knew his injuries hadn't healed, the longer it dragged on, the more disadvantageous it would be for him.

Ye Feng, likewise, seized this point and didn't fight him with full strength, but rather wore down his stamina, causing his old injuries to flare up.

The Sword Qi overflowing from their battle here created deep craters across an area of a million miles.

Even one-third of the Battleground Forbidden Land was affected by this battle, with the earth shaking and winds and clouds swirling.

However, the scales of victory did not tip towards Sword Changkong. He became more and more impatient as he fought, revealing many flaws for his opponent to exploit.

Old injuries unhealed, new ones were added.

...

...

Xiao Fan rode on the cat's back, emerging from an immortal palace. Guided by a compass, he had discovered another immortal palace in the Battleground Forbidden Land.

He collected all the treasures inside.

"Revered Master, you are truly a lucky star! We're collecting treasures everywhere we go, just like picking up money."

"Your servant wants to follow Revered Master forever."

Miao Xiaoqing meowed, showering him with compliments without reservation, truly living up to her title as the Supreme Flatterer.

Xiao Fan stroked the cat's tail, listening to the cat girl's flattery, finding it quite amusing.

The Opportunities found here were not very useful to him, but they were very useful to his women.

So he wanted to collect more and give some to everyone as gifts when he returned.

"Let's go, to the next location."

Just as they exited the immortal palace, the man and cat were preparing to head to the next spot, but before they had gone a few steps, a sharp Sword Qi rushed towards them.

Xiao Fan's eyes narrowed; that Sword Qi dissipated into nothingness, becoming a wisp of clear wind.

Miao Xiaoqing was dumbfounded. That sharp Sword Qi just now, if it were her, even with all her strength, she couldn't have handled it so perfectly.

Just what Realm had her Revered Master's strength reached?

Xiao Fan did not sense any killing intent directed at himself within the Sword Qi, meaning it wasn't aimed at him.

"Revered Master, look quickly."

Miao Xiaoqing pointed to one side, where two people were engaged in a life-and-death struggle.

It turned out that the Sword Qi from these two people's battle had overflowed.

Xiao Fan also saw it; rather, he saw a golden Child of Destiny.

He was fighting with someone whose Luck was dim.

These two were precisely Sword Changkong and Ye Feng.

Xiao Fan could tell at a glance that it was probably someone serving as a stepping stone for the Child of Destiny again.

"He seems to be a peerless Genius too. How tragic."

With Xiao Fan's vision, he could immediately discern that Sword Changkong's innate talent was extraordinary; he was a born Sword Dao Prodigy.

It was just that he was severely injured at the moment, and his fighting was getting worse and worse.

He shifted his gaze to Ye Feng, wanting to see what kind of composition this Genius had, to be able to beat a born Sword Dao Prodigy into such a sorry state.

He had thought the opponent was incredibly powerful, but it turned out there were two different souls hidden within his body.

"Old grandpa Possession!"

"If you can't win, just possess the body. As long as you win, it fits the Child of Destiny's temperament quite well."

Xiao Fan thought to himself.

Miao Xiaoqing said unhappily, "Revered Master, should we deal with both of them?"

"Although they didn't do it on purpose, they still caused us trouble, so we must make them apologize."

"Let's just confiscate their treasures."

Miao Xiaoqing said confidently, wishing she could rush up immediately, deal with both of them, and strip them of their treasures.

Xiao Fan smiled. He had thought this guy just couldn't stand it, but it turned out she was planning this.

Xiao Fan clicked on the script above the head of the Genius with the dim Luck to see how he had provoked the Child of Destiny.

["Sword Tomb Conflict: Ye Feng and a Sword Spirit conspired to trick Sword Changkong out of his treasure. Just as the treasured sword was about to be forged, they emerged to declare ownership of the sword."]

["Conflict ensued, and Sword Changkong beat Ye Feng into a pulp of flesh. Unexpectedly, his flesh and blood seeped into the ground, where he received help from a residual soul old man."]

["Shaping a body with a sword, the two collaborated."]

["To get revenge, Ye Feng and the residual soul old man actively sought out Sword Changkong, wanting to fight to the death. Unexpectedly, Ye Feng was too weak and was beaten into a frantic retreat with one move. In desperation, he could only ask the residual soul old man to possess him."]

["Sword Changkong was no match and was severely injured. Unwilling to disgrace his Revered Master's prestige, he chose death over retreat..."]

["... "]

Xiao Fan finished reading and had a general understanding of the situation.

"You've met me; you can live now," Xiao Fan murmured.

Sword Changkong was a Prodigy, but not a Child of Destiny, so he could live.

As for Ye Feng, it was better if he died.

Xiao Fan looked around and casually grabbed a branch from a tree above his head, breaking off a section. He held it in his hand and waved it.

At his level, all things could be weapons.

Even an ordinary branch could be as destructive as a divine weapon.

With a casual wave from Xiao Fan, a fierce gust of wind swept up. Within the gale were streaks of Sword Qi, piercing through layers of obstacles, heading towards Ye Feng.

...

...

Ye Feng was still toying with Sword Changkong. Being interrupted by Feng Yuanqing earlier had filled him with suppressed anger, and he had to thoroughly play with him until he died.

Sword Changkong, with his severely injured body, was exhausted from running for his life. He was beaten again, completely defenseless.

Seemingly tired of playing, Ye Feng said mercilessly, "I've had enough fun. Now, please die."

Ye Feng raised the long sword in his hand, about to kill Sword Changkong.

Sword Changkong was enveloped by the fear of death.

Life-saving methods? He felt unworthy to face his Revered Master and did not use them.

"Is this the end?"

Sword Changkong slowly closed his eyes, calmly facing death, perhaps this was his destined end.

One breath...

Two breaths...

Three breaths...

He didn't feel any new wounds on his body, nor any pain. Was this what death felt like?

Sword Changkong slowly opened his eyes, only to see a corpse floating in the air. Ye Feng's expression was one of shock, his face filled with terror, having died silently.

Ye Feng was dead!

Not only that, but violent Sword Qi twisted and swirled madly there until Ye Feng was minced into a bloody mist.

Only a complete Storage Pouch remained.

Such violent Sword Qi! This was definitely Sword Qi that could only be unleashed by a peerless divine sword, and the wielder was a Sword Dao Prodigy, whose talent far surpassed his own.

Such exquisite control, to be able to kill him yet preserve the Storage Pouch, was simply incredible.

Before Sword Changkong could fully recover, he saw a person riding a cat, rapidly approaching. The cat held the Storage Pouch in its mouth and left without stopping.

"Wait."

For some unknown reason, Sword Changkong, as if possessed, spontaneously called out to the man and cat.

"Is something wrong?" Xiao Fan asked, puzzled.

"You are very strong. May I know your name, so I can visit to express my gratitude?"

Sword Changkong said excitedly, though he wasn't being entirely truthful.

He wanted to know who this was, simply to facilitate a challenge.

"No need. You are somewhat weak; you are of no help to me."

With that, Xiao Fan and Miao Xiaoqing departed.

Sword Changkong felt an indescribable emotion in his heart. It was the first time he had been told to his face that he was weak, and in a way he couldn't refute.

Who exactly are you?! I will find out.
