Kendo Prodigy, Chasing

Sword Changkong was about to leave when he saw Feng Yuanqing.

Feng Yuanqing heard someone report that Sword Changkong was in danger. He had no choice but to rush over as quickly as possible; he couldn't just watch him die.

Mainly, his Revered Master and his own Revered Master had a deep friendship, so he might as well help if he could.

By the time Feng Yuanqing arrived, the battle had already stopped.

He could only watch the retreating figure of a young man riding a Nine-Tailed Cat, feeling that the young man's back looked somewhat familiar.

"Why are you here?" Sword Changkong asked, puzzled, upon seeing Feng Yuanqing.

"I was afraid you'd die and no one would collect your body," Feng Yuanqing said.

Sword Changkong felt a bit ashamed. Alas, he always felt like he was troubling others.

"Thank you," he said sincerely.

"By the way, why did you insist on fighting head-on? You should know that with your current severe injuries, it's not advisable to be rough," Feng Yuanqing said.

"I have a reason I cannot lose," Sword Changkong stated.

Feng Yuanqing smiled. He said, "This is the stubbornness of you Sword Cultivators. Oh, perhaps there's a nicer way to put it: 'Sword Bone,' never bending, never breaking."

"This way of thinking is too foolish. If you can't survive, everything else is meaningless."

Sword Changkong was speechless. Having been rescued twice, he seemed to have nothing to refute.

Moreover, survival was the most important thing; his Revered Master had taught him this as well.

But as he fought, his eyes turned red, and in a moment of hot-headedness, he threw everything to the back of his mind.

Just to win an argument!

Thinking about it now, it seemed a bit childish. If he lost his life, what good would the so-called Sword Bone be?

Sword Changkong took a deep breath and said, "Thank you for the reminder. It won't happen again."

"Oh, right, who was that person just now?" Feng Yuanqing asked, looking in the direction Xiao Fan had left.

Upon hearing him ask about this, Sword Changkong said with some excitement, "I just met an unparalleled Sword Dao Genius! His understanding of sword moves and his precise control over force are simply incredible."

"With just one move, he killed the person who had me surrounded."

"Among my peers, I haven't encountered anyone this strong. That one move just now, even if I were at my peak and fully prepared, I wouldn't be able to block it."

"I really want to exchange a few moves with him to see how big the gap between us is."

"My understanding of the Sword Dao is like a toddler learning to speak in front of him. This is the first time I've felt so weak. Can you understand?"

Feng Yuanqing listened to Sword Changkong's words, hearing the excitement and thrill in his tone.

He wasn't disheartened by his own weakness; his face was even full of anticipation, a kind of eagerness to challenge a Revered Master.

For some reason, when Feng Yuanqing saw that familiar back, he thought of the person who had defeated him that day.

"It can't be such a coincidence, can it? Is he also a Sword Dao Revered Master?" Feng Yuanqing murmured.

"What are you saying?" Sword Changkong asked.

"It just feels like the person you're talking about is very similar to the one who defeated me that day."

Sword Changkong exclaimed, "It can't be such a coincidence, can it?"

"How could someone be proficient in Spatial Dao and also have such a deep understanding of the Sword Dao?"

"Perhaps I was mistaken," Feng Yuanqing also didn't believe it in his heart. How could there be such a versatile Genius in the world?

"Let's go, we'll hunt the White Tiger Star Lord together."

"Good, only the White Tiger Star Lord can make me use my full strength."

...

After killing Ye Feng, Xiao Fan's Luck increased significantly.

Now, mixed among the Qi Luck Children, who would recognize him as a villain?

"Revered Master, please take a look at the Storage Pouch I just acquired," Miao Xiaoqing said, controlling the Storage Pouch and sending it to Xiao Fan.

Xiao Fan didn't examine it closely, simply put it away casually, and from it took out two Saint Hall tokens.

If he sold them, they should fetch a good price.

"Revered Master, where are we going next?" Miao Xiaoqing asked.

Xiao Fan closed his eyes slightly, surveying the world. He had found his target.

Let the two qinglian seeds in his hand return to their rightful owner.

"Just head north," Xiao Fan said.

"Meow, yes, Revered Master."

...

Battleground Forbidden Land, Eastern Region.

A group of organized individuals were weaving a large Sky Net, preparing to hunt Geniuses.

Their cultivation was formidable, their aura profound; each one of them was at least a Taiyi True Immortal.

Among them were also five Taiyi Golden Immortals, a truly luxurious lineup.

"You two, quickly flank them. Don't let him escape."

"You cut off his retreat. As long as we chop off his head, we can advance to Grand Unity," the leading man said excitedly.

"Yes, sir!"

The few of them received the order and immediately split up.

The person they were pursuing was only a Taiyi True Immortal, yet they dispatched over a dozen people to collectively besiege him, showing their determination to succeed.

The person being pursued was a young man named Ye Changsheng.

Ye Changsheng wore a gray-green robe and a yellowish-gray straw hat, dressed very subtly and not ostentatiously.

He believed he hadn't provoked anyone in the Battleground Forbidden Land, and to this day, he still didn't understand why those people were chasing him.

These people started pursuing him as soon as they saw him, with no discernible reason.

"What's going on? They're relentlessly pursuing."

"I shouldn't know them at all," Ye Changsheng was utterly confused.

He wasn't afraid of any single person among them.

Ye Changsheng had his own trump card. If he used it, he even had the confidence to kill a Taiyi Golden Immortal while still in the Taiyi True Immortal Realm.

However, this trump card consumed a great deal of his energy, and he could only use it three times. He wouldn't use it unless absolutely necessary.

Seeing that the people were in relentless pursuit, Ye Changsheng stopped, preparing to talk with them.

As soon as Ye Changsheng stopped, the dozen or so people quickly surrounded him, like a Sky Net, firmly enclosing Ye Changsheng in the middle.

Ye Changsheng was not afraid. He said calmly, "Gentlemen, what is the meaning of this? I shouldn't have provoked any of you."

The leader laughed and said, "You should know what you've done."

Done something?

Ye Changsheng was utterly bewildered. Thinking carefully, he really hadn't done anything wrong.

If he had to say something, it was that not long ago, he had tricked three tokens from someone else.

It couldn't really be called tricking. It was just that when he explored a Secret Realm with others, he found several treasures.

These were a bronze mirror, a long sword, a celestial book, and a wordless stone tablet.

While discussing how to divide the treasures, he accidentally discovered that the stone tablet contained three tokens. He calmly watched the others and let them choose first.

This stone tablet looked unremarkable on the surface, so naturally, no one would choose it.

Everyone else chose other items, so he generously allowed others to choose, while he openly accepted the stone tablet they had left behind.

Those few felt bad and even gave him some Immortal Pills and elixirs, treasures, and divine materials as compensation.

Ye Changsheng reluctantly accepted them.

Of course, he wouldn't tell them that there were tokens inside that allowed one to listen to a Saint's lecture on the Dao.

"They wouldn't have realized later that I have the tokens, would they?" Ye Changsheng thought.

It's highly possible!

Only such an important item would be worth them mobilizing such a large force.

Thinking of this, Ye Changsheng said, "How about this? I'll give you all the tokens I got. Let's not make things difficult for each other and hurt our harmony."

Saying that, he took out a token and waved it in front of those people. "As long as you let me leave, I'll give you this token."

"This is a very precious token that allows one to listen to a Saint's lecture on the Dao."

Everyone watched, their hearts burning with desire.

An unexpected pleasant surprise!

Although their mission was to kill Ye Changsheng, it would be quite nice to gain some benefits during the mission.

"Throw it over first," the leader said.

Ye Changsheng hesitated, not because he was reluctant, but because he saw that these people showed no signs of relaxing their stance; instead, they were surrounding him even more tightly.

"Damn it, they have no intention of letting me leave."

The leader was also thinking that as soon as he got his hands on the item, he would kill Ye Changsheng.

Lest he destroy the token and their efforts be in vain.

Both sides harbored ulterior motives.

"Why are you still standing there? Hurry up!"

After much thought, Ye Changsheng did not give the token to the leader.

Because he saw that the five Taiyi Golden Immortals all very much wished to obtain this token.

Got it, let them fight among themselves!

Ye Changsheng said, "There are so many of you, but I only have one token. To whom among you would it be most appropriate for me to give it?"

As expected, the leading Taiyi Golden Immortal immediately received the gazes of the other four.

They were all of the same Realm; he was only the leader in the mission to kill Ye Changsheng.

But the token was an unexpected gain, and there was no reason to give him the benefit.

The leader immediately explained that he would just hold onto it, sell it once they were out, and they would all share the proceeds.

However, it was clear that his explanation was somewhat feeble.

Ye Changsheng seized the opportunity and threw the token towards the sky, using all his might, throwing it as far as he could.

The five Taiyi Golden Immortals, none of them hesitated.

Almost instantly, they chased after it.

The previously tight encirclement developed a gap, and Ye Changsheng also used this opportunity to escape to safety.

However, Ye Changsheng did not go far; instead, he concealed his figure and followed behind them.

Although Ye Changsheng couldn't defeat so many people in a direct confrontation, if he ambushed them from behind, he was confident he could kill them all.

"I'm just temporarily entrusting it to you."

The token represented an opportunity to listen to a Saint's lecture on the Dao, an invaluable treasure. One token could even buy half an Immortal Domain!

Ye Changsheng giving it up was a last resort; he would take it back eventually.

Along with their lives, he would take those too!

Things turned out beyond his expectations; these five people fought fiercely over the token.

At first, it was just pushing and shoving, but later, no one would give in, and they went straight for the kill.

Ye Changsheng watched, thinking, 'Fight, fight until your heads are bruised and bleeding, and then I'll take you all out in one fell swoop.'
