152: Chapter 152 A Decisive Move: Developing the Language 'Luo Shu'

After hearing Ling's description of Chinese language logic, Yan Yi and Yan Er—Bionic Humans standing at the peak of human technology—already felt a shock on a cognitive level.

But in Chen Xu's mind, an even crazier idea emerged.

He turned around and faced the silver-haired girl floating in mid-air.

"Ling, since Chinese characters themselves are a type of algorithm package, can we take it a step further?"

"Create a brand-new programming language."

"A language... that allows developers to create worlds using 'intent' rather than 'code'."

As soon as this idea was spoken, Yan Yi's pupils constricted, and countless code structures and development frameworks in his brain collapsed and reorganized.

He understood the power behind those few sentences, enough to destroy the entire software industry from its foundations.

Everyone's gaze subconsciously converged on Ling.

They were waiting for this super-artificial intelligence's conclusion on this crazy concept.

Around Ling's floating body, small distortions appeared in the air.

That was the quantum computing core within her body performing rapid deductions.

The massive data interaction even began to interfere with physical space.

Two minutes later, the data light streams in Ling's eyes slowly subsided.

She looked up at Chen Xu and gave an affirmative answer.

"It is possible."

When this word was uttered, Yan Yi felt his back instantly drenched in cold sweat.

Ling's voice echoed in the meeting room.

"The core logic of this new programming language is no longer telling the computer 'how to do it,' but directly defining 'what to do'."

"Developers only need to use the most natural Chinese to describe the functions, visuals, or logic they want."

She gave an example.

"For instance, if a developer wants to implement a user login function, they no longer need to manually write hundreds of lines of code for database connections, user verification, password encryption, and session maintenance."

"They only need to write one sentence."

Ling's voice paused for a moment, allowing everyone to absorb this information.

"'Create a secure user system that supports login via mobile number and email'."

"All the remaining work," Ling continued, "will be taken over by the AI core of 'Taiyi'."

"It will automatically parse, compile, and directly translate the developer's 'intent' into the lowest-level, most efficient machine instructions."

"It will automatically select the optimal encryption algorithm and handle all possible exceptions and network attacks."

Ling gave her final conclusion.

"Boss, I suggest naming this language 'Luo Shu'."

"According to my preliminary deductions, combined with the auxiliary capabilities of the 'Taiyi' AI, a qualified 'Luo Shu' programmer's efficiency will be more than ten times that of programmers using existing high-level languages."

Ling immediately added another sentence, completely shattering Yan Yi's old perceptions.

"The work efficiency of one 'Luo Shu' programmer will be equivalent to an elite team of ten top engineers."

The meeting room fell silent.

As a master of software architecture, Yan Yi understood what this meant better than anyone.

"This isn't just an efficiency boost; it's a generational gap in productivity."

It meant that large-scale software which previously required a team of a hundred people and a year to develop could now be completed by a team of ten in two months.

It meant that the development costs and cycles of the entire software industry would be compressed to an absurd degree.

It also meant that from today on, there would only be two types of programmers in the world.

One that uses "Luo Shu".

And one that is phased out by the era.

A look of satisfaction finally appeared on Chen Xu's face.

This was what he wanted—not just technical leadership, but absolute crushing of production methods.

He looked at Ling and gave the final command.

"Very good. Ling, the development of the 'Luo Shu' language will proceed simultaneously with the development of the 'zhoutian PC Edition' operating system."

"I want to let developers around the world see the only path to the future when our PC products are released."

"I want them to understand that the C++, Java, and Python they learned in the past will all become terms in history books."

The command was issued.

Chen Xu's gaze finally fell on Guan Yi.

Guan Yi had been taking notes on the side and had now recovered from the shock.

"For hardware, we have 'Chongming'. For software, we have 'zhoutian PC' and 'Luo Shu'."

"But a brand-new PC ecosystem is still missing its most critical link."

As the CEO of the group, Guan Yi immediately grasped Chen Xu's intent.

Her eyes lit up as she uttered two words.

"Content."

"Exactly," Chen Xu nodded.

"Content, especially games."

"Looking at the history of personal computer development, games have always been the primary driver for hardware upgrades and system popularization."

"No user will replace their computer just to use Office or a browser."

"But they will discard their old devices without hesitation for an epoch-making game."

The corners of Chen Xu's mouth curled up.

"What we need to do is prepare the first batch of 'residents' for our new world."

At this moment, a complete, interlocking, and massive plan finally formed a closed loop in Chen Xu's mind.

From chips to systems, from languages to content.

A brand-new world would be born from his hands.
