160: Chapter 159 I've Found You

"Pass on my decree: all Cultivators and concubines currently suppressing the Yao Race in various cities must return to the Imperial Capital within three days to report their duties. I will reward merit—whoever kills the most of the Yao Race will be rewarded with three spirit ascension pills and have their flipping-the-tablet quota doubled."

Xiao Ye paused, then added, "Additionally, tell Zi Youqian to hurry up with the investigation; I am growing impatient."

Li Fu acknowledged the order and turned to run off and deliver the command.

Xiao Ye stood on the highest Star-Gazing Tower of the Imperial Palace, watching the order gradually return to the streets of the Imperial Capital in the distance, looking at the corpses of the Yao Race that the Cultivators had carried back and piled into small hills, and took a deep breath.

"Ao Debiao, you just wait for me. When I find your lair, see if I don't skin you alive and make a wolf-fur coat to wear in the winter."

A-Diao let out a "chirp," expressing agreement.

In the distance, on the horizon, the setting sun was like blood, dyeing half the sky red.

Deep in the northern wilderness, a pair of golden vertical pupils flickered in the darkness, coldly staring in the direction of the Great Qian Imperial Capital.

Ao Debiao crouched on the mountain Peak, his silver-white fur fluttering in the night wind, the corners of his mouth curling slightly to reveal sharp fangs.

Beside him, several Yao Race generals knelt on one knee, reporting the battle situation from various fronts.

"Saint, more than half of the Yao Race we sent out have been captured by that human Emperor..."

"Understood," Ao Debiao said indifferently. "They were just cannon fodder to begin with; if they die, they die."

"Then, what about next..."

"Keep sending them. The Great Qian is so vast, can he absorb them all by himself?" Ao Debiao stood up and looked toward the south, a trace of greed flashing in his golden vertical pupils. "I'd like to see how he manages to absorb them."

Half a month later, Zi Youqian finally sent word.

When the communication stone lit up, Xiao Ye was in the Imperial Study "reviewing memorials"—though it was called reviewing, in reality, he was just drinking tea while Li Fu read them aloud, and he would occasionally "hmm" to express agreement.

Hearing the commotion from the communication stone, he immediately put down his teacup and grabbed it.

"Big Brother, I found it!" Zi Youqian's voice popped out from the stone, carrying a hint of pride in seeking credit. "That bastard Ao Debiao is hiding in the Luoxia Mountain Range; I have sent you the specific location. Big Brother, be careful, that wolf cub is not easy to deal with."

Xiao Ye grinned: "Rest assured, I know what I'm doing." Hanging up the communication stone, he got up and strode outside, his voice so loud that the entire Imperial Study shook. "Fairy Peony, come with me!"

"Where to?" Fairy Peony walked out from the side hall, dressed in simple robes, holding a pill book in her hand. Clearly, she was studying the Pill Formula for the spirit ascension pill that Xiao Ye had given her, and there was a hint of annoyance at being disturbed in her eyes.

"To beat a wolf."

Without saying another word, Xiao Ye grabbed Fairy Peony and got onto A-Diao.

A-Diao spread his wings and shot into the sky, transforming into a streak of light as he sped toward the Luoxia Mountain Range in the north.

Xiao Ye had originally wanted to ride Little Qilin for more flair, but Little Qilin wasn't as fast as A-Diao—even though that guy was a noble Divine Beast, when he got lazy, he was worse than a pig.

Although A-Diao was dissatisfied with being used as a mount, acting like a bus every day, he flew obediently for the sake of the roasted whole lamb that Xiao Ye had promised.

The Luoxia Mountain Range, the highest mountain range in the East Sea Region, was covered in snow all year round, draped in silver, and from a distance, it looked like a giant silver Dragon lying across the earth.

Atop the mountain Peak, a huge, brand-new wolf-head statue stood on the cliff, fangs exposed, eyes scarlet, exuding a sense of ferocity and majesty.

Ao Debiao sat on top of the wolf-head statue, crossing his legs, toying with a silver bone plaque in his hand. His golden vertical pupils looked toward the south, and a playful smile hung on the corners of his mouth.

"They're here..." He slowly stood up, his silver-white fur fluttering in the wind like a silver battle flag.

Xiao Ye and Fairy Peony descended from the sky, landing on the snow in front of Wolf God Mountain. A-Diao circled high in the sky, let out a "chirp," and spat out a stream of sparks, as if firing a signal flare—and incidentally reminding Xiao Ye not to forget about the roasted whole lamb.

Fairy Peony's expression was indifferent, standing with her hands behind her back. Her Body Integration Peak Aura was restrained perfectly, but that invisible pressure still caused the surrounding space to distort slightly, and even the snow beneath her feet sank silently.

Ao Debiao leaped down from the mountain Peak, landing steadily in front of Xiao Ye, no more than a hundred zhang away.

Behind him, a black shadow quietly emerged—tall and sturdy, with the build of a tiger and the waist of a bear, his bare upper body covered in black fur, and a pair of dark golden bear eyes exuding a bloodthirsty light.

That was an Elder of the Heavenly Demon Sacred Land, the Black Bear King, known as "Xiong Da," at the Body Integration Peak, who was Ao Debiao's guardian Elder.

"Xiao Ye, do you think you can win just by bringing a helper?" Ao Debiao sneered, his gaze sweeping over Fairy Peony, his eyes filled with a trace of disdain. "I have one too."

The Black Bear King took a step forward, his Body Integration Peak Aura erupting with a roar. It collided with Fairy Peony's Aura, stirring up the wind and snow, blowing the snow within a hundred zhang radius completely clean.

Fairy Peony frowned slightly, her figure flashed, and without a word, she moved to meet him and started fighting.

The two clashed in the air, fists and palms striking each other, waves of Qi rolling, exploding into ripples visible to the naked eye. The vibration caused the snow on the mountain Peak to tumble down, as if an avalanche were occurring.

They were evenly matched.

Xiao Ye glanced at the battle in the air, felt relieved, and turned to face Ao Debiao.

Crimson Flame Blood-Burning Technique, Desolate Tyrant Body, Super Sailei Transformation, Death God Undying Body... He activated various combat buffs one after another, and his Aura soared rapidly.

He drew the taihuang sword from his waist; the blade shimmered with brilliant light, and his Sword Intent was stern.

"Now, it's our turn."

Ao Debiao drew his silver long saber, the blade cold and biting, reflecting the falling snow, full of Killing Intent.

He gritted his teeth in hatred toward Xiao Ye—this human had abducted his fiancée and publicly humiliated him with his "special skill." If he didn't avenge this, what face would he, the Silver Moon Celestial Wolf, have left?

"Die!" Ao Debiao roared, slashing down with his long saber. The saber light was like a ribbon of silk, carrying the terrifying spiritual power of the Void Refining Peak, aiming straight for Xiao Ye's head.

Xiao Ye did not dodge or evade, meeting the saber with his taihuang sword. Saber and sword collided, sparks flying everywhere. Both retreated several steps at the same time, the snow beneath their feet blasted into pits a zhang deep, and gravel flew about.

Ao Debiao's pupils constricted slightly: "Your cultivation has improved again?"

"What, scared?" Xiao Ye shook his numb wrist and said with a grin, a smile so punchable that it made people want to slap him.

"Scared?" Ao Debiao sneered, turning his blade, the silver light surging violently. "Even if you've improved, so what? This Saint will still beat you to a pulp!"

The two collided again, saber light and sword shadows intertwining. They fought from the ground to the air, and smashed back from the air to the snow, fighting until the sky turned dark and snow filled the air.

After a hundred moves, the two separated again, each occupying one side, confronting each other from a distance.

Ao Debiao was panting slightly, a shallow sword mark on his chest, his silver-white fur stained red with blood, which was particularly glaring against the snow.

Xiao Ye wasn't doing much better; his shoulder had been cut open by Saber Qi, blood dripping down his arm. He looked utterly disheveled, but the corners of his mouth still hung with that punchable smile.

"You can't beat me." Xiao Ye stretched his neck, which made a "crack" sound. "Admit defeat. For the sake of your fiancée, I will spare your life."

"Bullshit!" Ao Debiao was furious. He raised his long saber high, silver-white spiritual power crazily condensing on the blade, transforming into a silver saber beam tens of zhang long, destructive and earth-shattering. "Silver Moon Slash!"
