4: Chapter 4 This old guy has quite a few tricks up his sleeve.

Three days later.

The Xiao Family residence was decorated with lanterns and streamers.

Though it was called a wedding, it was actually just a few tables of banquet set up in the courtyard, with neighbors and prominent figures from the town invited.

The master of ceremonies shouted at the top of his lungs, "The newlyweds enter!"

The old bull thus led the tender grass onto the stage.

The guests sat eating, their gazes occasionally drifting toward Xiao Ye as they whispered and murmured among themselves.

"He's practically kicking the bucket and he's still getting married; isn't he afraid of dying in bed?" Cao Deshuang's eyes were red with envy as he grumbled incessantly.

"Shh, keep it down. He just wants to leave behind an heir," chimed in Bi Taijin, the Clan Chief of the Bi Family, one of the Four Great Families.

"That Zhang the Third has quite the scheme going! It won't be long before the Xiao Family is renamed Zhang."

"Are you tempted? You could marry your daughter off to him too. That way, half of the Xiao Family's assets would end up with the Bi surname, wouldn't they?"

"Hehe, I'd certainly like to marry her off, but would that old ghost Xiao dare to take her?" said Bi Taijin.

Cao Deshuang thought about it and agreed; although Xiao Ye was an old man in his sixties, he wouldn't be interested in Bi Taijin's three-hundred-pound daughter!

Low laughter rippled through the banquet.

Xiao Ye turned a deaf ear to it all, moving from table to table with a wine cup to offer toasts, smiling amiably.

"Master Xiao, congratulations, congratulations!"

"The joy is shared, the joy is shared. Please, eat and drink your fill."

"Master Xiao, the bride is one of the three great beauties of our Qingshan Town; you truly are blessed!"

"Haha, I am indeed fortunate."

By the time the round of toasts was finished, the sky had already turned dark.

The bride was escorted to the bridal chamber.

Xiao Ye stood at the door and fished a small porcelain bottle out from his robes.

It was the Newbie Gift Pack from the System—the Golden Spear Unyielding Pill and the Heroic Vigor Reconstruction Pill.

He uncorked the bottle and poured out two Medicinal Pills. They weren't large, about the size of soybeans, and they shimmered faintly under the moonlight.

He clenched the Medicinal Pills in his palm, took a deep breath, and pushed open the door.

Inside, red candles burned brightly, wax tears slowly trickling down the candle bodies and congealing into small pools in the bronze trays. A faint scent of sandalwood drifted through the air, mixed with the sweet, soft fragrance unique to a young woman's chamber.

Xiao Ye stood at the door, momentarily dazed.

A beam of moonlight filtered through the carved window lattice, falling squarely onto the bed.

Zhang Waner was lying on her side; her bright red wedding gown had already been removed and was draped casually over a nearby clothes rack.

At this moment, she wore only a pale pink sheer silk nightgown. The fabric was incredibly light and soft, veiling her delicate skin like morning mist.

The moonlight flowed down from her shoulders, following the graceful curve that extended from her back to her hips, outlining a breathtaking silhouette.

Full.

Soft.

Rising and falling gently with her steady breathing.

Xiao Ye felt a surge of heat rising from his lower abdomen.

It had been a long time.

It really had been a very long time.

He had seen many women in his life and had taken thirteen concubines, yet looking at the figure in the moonlight now, he actually felt a bit dazed—

One of the three great beauties of Qingshan Town was indeed different.

Even his sixty-year-old bones were beginning to brim with new life.

Xiao Ye curled his lips and walked over quietly.

The bed sank slightly.

He reached out his arm and moved in from behind, his touch scalding hot as he pulled her into his embrace.

So soft...

So comfortable...

He buried his face in her hair, which emitted a faint fragrance, and took a deep breath.

It was a scent that mixed a young woman's natural fragrance with the smell of flower petals and fresh water, like the most enchanting incense and the most potent aphrodisiac.

"Little lady, have you been waiting long? Your Master is coming!"

Zhang Waner's entire body suddenly stiffened.

She instinctively pressed down on the large hand that was trying to wander upward, her voice tight: "W-wait... Master!"

Xiao Ye's movements paused.

He lifted his face from her hair, his warm breath fanning across her ear as he lowered his voice: "Still calling me Master?"

The base of Zhang Waner's ears instantly flared up, turning so red they almost looked like they were bleeding.

She bit her lip and remained silent.

Xiao Ye was in no hurry; he rubbed his nose against her earlobe and slowly added:

"Call me Husband."

He paused, then added another:

"Or... Master."

Zhang Waner: "...?"

Waner's face instantly flushed crimson, the heat spreading from her cheeks all the way to her ears, even her neck tinged with a faint shade of pink.

"You... don't be like this, let go of me! I have something to tell you—"

She tried to push Xiao Ye's arm away, but it only tightened further, encircling her waist like an iron band.

Xiao Ye said nothing.

He was already impatient.

The fragrance so close at hand kept wafting into his nose like countless ants crawling on his heart. Having lived to sixty, this was the first time he felt his reason was so ineffective—

What matter?

We'll talk about it later.

He leaned down.

"Mmm..."

A suppressed, delicate moan escaped from Waner's lips, sounding exceptionally clear in the silent night.

—To ensure a good combat experience for this night, Xiao Ye could be said to have made ample pre-war preparations.

Using both hands and mouth, the foreplay was turned up to the max.

Only after confirming that Waner had completely relaxed did he fish out those two Medicinal Pills and swallow them.

As the Medicinal Pills entered his stomach, a surge of heat instantly coursed through his entire body.

Xiao Ye took a deep breath.

Real man mode, activate!

And then, he went on a rampage.

...

Seven breaths later.

Xiao Ye clutched his waist, a mask of pain already visible on his face.

Holy crap, my lower back, don't you freaking fail me now!

Zhang Waner endured her soreness and looked at him strangely.

Xiao Ye rolled over, sprawling out on the bed, looked at Zhang Waner, and patted his thigh.

"What are you doing?" Zhang Waner was puzzled.

"What? Didn't your mother teach you?"

Zhang Waner: "..."

This old ghost really has quite a few tricks.
