34: Chapter 34 Luffy, you don't need to look for your crew anymore.
"Straw Hat Luffy, you don't need to look for your crewmates anymore."
"Just a moment ago, all of your crew members, including the swordsman named Zoro, were scattered and swatted away to various parts of the world by my Paw-Paw Fruit ability."
"What?!" Luffy shuddered, his eyes instantly turning crimson.
"They will undergo two years of mandatory training at their respective destinations."
Kuma ignored Luffy's anger and continued: "This is your father's request. With your current strength, entering the New World is a path to certain death. This is for their own good."
"What kind of joke is this!!!"
Luffy completely lost it, steam erupting from his body as he prepared to charge at Kuma!
"What right do you have to decide our future! Give my crewmates back to me!!!"
"Boom!" Luffy had just taken one step forward. A large hand, like an unshakeable Mount Tai, pressed firmly onto his head, forcing him right back to where he started!
"Uncle?!" Luffy looked at Karl, who had intervened, with teary eyes and confusion.
Karl ignored Luffy's struggle. He slowly stepped forward and stood directly in front of the Tyrant, Kuma.
"Swatting people away? Mandatory training for two years?"
Karl narrowed his eyes slightly; within his deep gaze, an extremely dangerous, cold, and murderous aura flickered.
He stared at Kuma, asking word by word: "Is this Dragon's intention, or is it your own unauthorized decision?"
Kuma was silent for a moment, then replied in a low voice: "This is a plan authorized by the leader."
"If this is Dragon's intention, then he finally acts a bit like a father, knowing that the waters of the New World are deep and not wanting to watch his own son go to his death."
Karl flicked his wrist and slowly drew the seven wolves belt from his waist!
"Snap!" An incredibly piercing sonic boom exploded throughout the bar!
Karl's gaze was like a blade, locked firmly onto Kuma, his voice as majestic as thunder from the nine heavens: "But if it is you, or anyone else who wants to interfere in my nephew's life."
"Then you better listen up!"
"My nephew, his future, his education—only I, his uncle, can manage that!"
Feeling the terrifying killing intent radiating from Karl, enough to destroy the world, Kuma's mountain-like body actually showed obvious stiffness and trembling under Karl's glare!
"Answer me."
Kuma did not retreat but met Karl's deep, abyss-like eyes calmly.
"It was my judgment."
"Of course, this also received the tacit approval of leader Dragon."
Kuma extended his massive palm, which had pink paw pads, pointing at Luffy, whose head was being pressed by Karl and whose eyes were crimson, and then pointed at Ace, who was clenching his fists nearby.
"With their current strength, entering the New World is a path to certain death."
"Just now, facing the Admiral Kizaru, they didn't even have the ability to fight back. If you, their uncle, an Admiral, hadn't been standing here, they might have already died at the Marineford War."
Kuma slowly closed the Bible in his hand: "In the New World, there are many monsters like Kizaru. Therefore, swatting them away to various parts of the world for two years of training is for their own good."
Luffy bit his lip hard, a trace of blood flowing down from the corner of his mouth. He did not refute it.
Because he knew better than anyone that when facing Kizaru's light-speed kicks and the Pacifista's laser cannons just now, the despair and helplessness he felt were immense.
If his uncle hadn't intervened, everyone... really would have died!
"Damn it... I'm still too weak!" Luffy slammed both fists heavily onto the floor, tears falling uncontrollably to the ground.
Ace was equally silent. He recalled the terrifying scene of his uncle pressing Kizaru to the ground and beating him like a grandson, then looked at his own Mera Mera no Mi ability that he was so proud of. In front of his uncle and those truly top-tier fighters, his flames were as laughable as a matchstick!
"Hoo..." Seeing Luffy and Ace looking so devastated, the violent killing intent in Karl's eyes gradually receded like a tide.
He flicked his wrist and tucked the seven wolves belt back into his waist.
"At least you have some sense."
"Since this was tacitly approved by Dragon, and it's for the good of these arrogant brats, I won't hold it against you this time."
"Since your crewmates have all gone for training."
"Then you two idiots naturally can't be idle either."
"From today on, your happy childhood of only knowing how to eat meat and mess around is completely over!"
Karl extended two fingers and tapped heavily on the tabletop.
"I, your uncle, will personally conduct a two-year 'Hell-Level Special Training Course' for you!"
"Do you understand?!"
Hearing the words "Hell-Level Special Training Course," Luffy and Ace both shuddered violently at the same time. Their uncle's special training?!
"Un... Uncle..." Luffy swallowed with difficulty. "During the special training... can we have meat to eat?"
"Eat your head!" Karl backhanded and flicked Luffy on the forehead.
Ace took a deep breath, stood up straight, and eyes burning with an unprecedented, raging fire.
"I understand! Uncle!" Ace shouted loudly: "As long as I can become stronger, as long as I can protect Old Man and Luffy, even if it means going to hell, I won't even frown!"
[Ding! Detected that nephew Luffy has developed extreme despair and fear of tutoring!]
[Detected that nephew Ace has developed an extreme desire to become stronger, facing death to live!]
[Elder Dignity Value +30000!]
Standing at the doorway, the Tyrant Kuma saw this scene, and on that expressionless face, a trace of almost imperceptible relief seemed to flash.
He knew that leaving Luffy and Ace to this unfathomable, arrogant, and domineering man was absolutely the safest choice on this vast sea.
"Since that is the case, my task is complete."
Kuma tucked the Bible back under his arm, turned around, and prepared to push the door open to leave.
But just at the moment he was about to step out of the broken door of the bar, Kuma's massive body suddenly paused.
He did not turn back, just said in an extremely low voice, slowly: "Admiral Karl."
"Although your strength is unfathomable, I still have to give you a warning."
Kuma's voice echoed on the dilapidated street: "By hanging the Celestial Dragons on a tree today, you have completely enraged those people in Mary Geoise."
"The hidden cards of the World Government have completely set their sights on you."
Speaking of this, Kuma's tone suddenly contained a trace of sorrow that was hard for ordinary people to detect.
"Also..."
"Regarding Luffy, I will have to leave him to you from now on."
"Because, my 'time'... is running out."
Before the words faded, Kuma's figure instantly turned into a burst of air that exploded out of thin air, and with a "bang," he completely disappeared into the night of the Sabaody Archipelago.
