93: Chapter 89 Uncle, I have a piece of advice for you

As the voice fell, over a dozen imperceptible parasite strings descended from the air, striking toward the joints of Luffy, Ace, and Sabo's limbs.

The speed wasn't fast.

They didn't even make a sound as they cut through the air.

Yet, the more so, the more insidious it seemed.

Luffy's pupils constricted slightly.

Ace gritted his teeth.

Sabo's eyes flashed with anger.

They all saw it.

But they couldn't move.

In the spectator stands, Bartolomeo lunged violently toward the direction of the ring.

"Luffy-senpai!!"

But he had barely rushed out a few steps before his unhealed wounds dragged him down to his knees.

The One-legged Toy Soldier also tightened his grip on his cane, wanting to jump down from the stands.

But someone was faster than everyone else.

A thousandth of a second before the parasite strings were about to touch Luffy's body.

A figure appeared in the center of the ring.

No one saw clearly how he got down.

It was as if he had been sitting in the stands chewing on a cigar a moment ago, and the next, he was already standing in front of his three nephews.

Karl had one hand in his floral shirt pocket, the other hanging casually at his side.

His expression didn't even change.

Yet those incoming parasite strings snapped simultaneously three meters in front of him.

The entire venue went silent.

The smile on Doflamingo's face paused slightly.

Karl lifted his head, squinting slightly as he looked up at the throne of strings in the sky.

"Doflamingo."

His voice wasn't loud.

"Uncle is going to give you a piece of advice."

The temperature inside the Coliseum seemed to drop abruptly.

The audience, who had been cheering just a moment ago, turned pale one by one, subconsciously holding their breath.

Clearly, Karl hadn't transformed, hadn't drawn a blade, hadn't thrown a punch.

Yet everyone felt a suffocating pressure.

"My three nephews are tired now."

Karl raised his hand and flicked the ash off his cigar in a leisurely manner.

"You wait until they've rested enough, until they've eaten and drunk their fill and are fully recovered, then you can fight them whenever you want."

"As long as they lose, Uncle won't say a single word."

Luffy lay on the rubble, his mouth twitching.

"Uncle... I haven't lost yet..."

"Shut up."

Karl didn't even turn his head.

"You can't even lift meat right now, and you dare talk back?"

Luffy: "..."

Ace and Sabo looked away at the same time, nearly laughing out loud, but then pulled at their wounds and gasped in pain.

Karl looked back at Doflamingo.

The corners of his mouth curled into an extremely dangerous arc.

"But you want to take advantage of them while they're down?"

"Then Uncle will play with you right now."

The moment those words fell, the fingers Doflamingo had resting on the string armrest trembled ever so slightly.

He felt it.

The truly destructive power on this man before him, which never leaked out.

And as Karl stood there, he looked like someone who could decide at any moment whether to make this island disappear from the map.

Trebol dragged his snot, his voice trembling for the first time.

"Neh neh... Doffy..."

Diamante gripped his longsword, his Adam's apple bobbing.

Pica's massive body no longer emitted that shrill mocking laughter.

The smile on Doflamingo's face faded bit by bit.

He stared at Karl.

Karl watched him too.

A few seconds later.

The throne of strings slowly moved back half a meter.

Very lightly.

Almost no one noticed.

Doflamingo retreated.

In the spectator stands, someone blinked blankly.

They didn't understand what had happened.

But the executives of the Donquixote Family all had ugly expressions.

Karl smiled.

"Smart."

He bent down, grabbed Luffy by the back of his collar with one hand, and then reached out to pick up Ace and Sabo.

The movement was very casual.

"Hey! Uncle! I'm not a kid anymore!" Ace struggled.

"I'm also the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army, could you give me a little face..." Sabo said helplessly.

Luffy's eyes lit up: "Uncle, is there meat?"

"Snap!"

Karl backhanded Luffy on the forehead.

"All you think about is eating."

The next instant, he appeared in the spectator lounge with the three brothers.

The speed was so fast that no one saw it clearly.

Karl tossed the three of them onto a bench.

"Bang, bang, bang!"

The three brothers fell in a neat row.

"So painful!"

"Take it easy, Uncle!"

"Uncle, my ribs don't seem to have set yet."

Karl pulled three bottles of glowing golden medicine from his chest and tossed them onto them.

"Drink."

Luffy sniffed the bottle opening.

"It's not meat."

"Snap!"

A belt had appeared in Karl's hand at some point, cracking softly in the air.

"Drink."

Luffy immediately tilted his head back and gulped it down.

Ace and Sabo looked at each other, didn't ask further, pulled the stoppers, and drank.

The moment the golden medicine entered their throats, the wounds on their bodies began to heal at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Their depleted stamina was refilled as if by a warm tide, and even the weakness after Luffy's Gear 4 was smoothed away bit by bit.

Sabo looked down at his fingers, which he clenched again, his eyes flickering slightly.

He could feel the Haki inside his body recovering, and the muscles that had nearly torn were stitched back together by some gentle power.

Ace silently clenched his fist, and White Flames danced on his fingertips again.

Luffy stared at the barbecue stall in the distance that hadn't been cleared away yet, his throat rumbling.

A vein popped on Karl's forehead.

"Half an hour."

He tucked the belt back into his waist and said flatly.

"Eat, rest, recover."

"Then go beat that pink-haired turkey until even his mother won't recognize him."

The three brothers looked up simultaneously.

Luffy grinned.

White Flames ignited on Ace's fingertips again.

Sabo gripped his repaired pipe.

On the throne of strings in the sky, Doflamingo looked down at this scene, his face so gloomy it could drip water.

Karl looked up and gave him a lazy smile.

"Don't be in a rush."

"In half an hour, it will be your turn to get beaten."

But Doflamingo didn't smile anymore.

Half an hour later.

The strings above the Corrida Colosseum had disappeared, but the oppressive atmosphere had not dispersed.

The crowd in the spectator stands did not leave immediately.

They had witnessed the peak duel of the three brothers with their own eyes, and had also seen with their own eyes the King of Dressrosa, Doflamingo, appear after the match and attempt to strike at the exhausted champions.

This kind of thing, in any country, would be a scandal sufficient to tear apart the royal family's prestige.

But this was Dressrosa.

The people who had lived under Doflamingo's rule for ten years had long since grown accustomed to silence.

They dared not cheer, nor did they dare to question.

They just held their breath, watching those three young men in the spectator lounge recover their breath bit by bit.

Luffy sat cross-legged on the bench, with the barbecue that Karl had gotten from who knows where piled in front of him.

"Delicious!!"

He grabbed a huge roasted leg in one hand, his cheeks puffed out like a hamster.

"Meat! Meat! Meat!"

Ace sat beside him, also holding a piece of barbecue; his eating manner wasn't as exaggerated as Luffy's, but his speed was just as fast.

"Eat slowly, no one is going to snatch it from you."

"Ace, you're clearly snatching it too!"

"I am replenishing my stamina normally."

"So am I!"

"What you're doing is inhaling the food."

Sabo leaned against the other end of the bench, drank the last drop of water, and looked down to inspect his metal pipe, which had returned to being straight.

The effect of the golden medicine was outrageously strong.

Half an hour ago, they were still lying in the rubble like three dried-out fish.

Now, their wounds were healed, their stamina was full, and even their Haki consumption had mostly recovered.

"Are you full? There is still someone waiting for you to beat them up."
