"Wait here for a while for them to arrive," Village Chief reassured the two women.

Xia Youyu and the Female God of War looked at the Village Chief in confusion.

"What's so special about us? And who are 'they' the Village Chief mentioned?" The Female God of War felt that there was indeed something unusual about Shi Village.

She had come specifically to confirm things, and now that the Village Chief had spoken, she wanted to find out.

Facing the Female God of War's inquiry, Village Chief stroked his beard and smiled. "Don't worry, it's a good thing for you—a tremendously good thing. You'll know soon enough."

Village Chief knew that they had already been chosen by Shi Hao.

Xia Youyu looked at the Village Chief in confusion.

"Where are the people called Xia Youyu and the Female God of War?" A voice interrupted Xia Youyu and the Female God of War.

When the Vermilion Bird entered, her gaze locked onto Xia Youyu and the Female God of War.

The Vermilion Bird looked at Xia Youyu, a satisfied smile appearing on her face. "Not bad, not bad. You're quite good-looking."

Xia Youyu wore an elegant, simple blue dress. Her sleeves fluttered, and the hem was embroidered with faint cloud patterns, giving her a full sense of Immortal Qi. Her long hair flowed like a waterfall, gently tied up and adorned with a few jade hairpins, making her look even more dignified and elegant. Her overall appearance was simple yet noble, like a Fairy stepping out of a painting.

The Vermilion Bird approached Xia Youyu, looking closely at her graceful figure. Xia Youyu's face was pure and beautiful, her features like a painting, and her gentle temperament carried a hint of coolness. She watched the Vermilion Bird come within inches of her.

"Female God of War? Your temperament is fine, but your strength is hard to say." The Vermilion Bird shook her head and then said to the two of them, "My master wants you. Come with me." With one sentence, the Vermilion Bird had them follow her.

The Female God of War and Xia Youyu glanced at each other, and then the Female God of War spoke first.

"Who are you? Where are you taking us? If you don't explain clearly, we wouldn't dare follow you..." Before the Female God of War could finish, she felt something brush past her cheek.

The Vermilion Bird withdrew her hand and looked at the blood on the Female God of War's cheek. "I told you to follow me. So many questions; you'll know when we get there."

The Female God of War reached out to touch the blood on her cheek. If the other party's control hadn't been precise just now, her face would have been torn open.

"Young ladies, just follow Lady Vermilion Bird. It's a tremendously good thing for you; others wouldn't even get the chance if they wanted it," Village Chief stepped forward to reassure them.

Hearing the Village Chief's words, Xia Youyu and the Female God of War said no more and chose to follow the Vermilion Bird in silence.

Seeing this, the Vermilion Bird continued forward, leading them out of the stone house, then down another small path, bypassing the center of the village, and finally arriving beneath the willow tree.

Watching the Vermilion Bird lead them beneath the Sacrificial Spirit, Xia Youyu and the Female God of War were confused.

"Alright, hold on tight. You might feel a bit dizzy the first time." The Vermilion Bird reached out and grabbed Xia Youyu and the Female God of War's hands, and while they were completely bewildered, she led them directly into the Small World inside the Willow Deity.

When the Vermilion Bird brought Xia Youyu and the Female God of War back to the Small World, the two of them came to their senses and crouched down to vomit.

Looking at the two vomiting newcomers, the Vermilion Bird said with a look of disdain, "What weaklings. You can't even handle this much spatial transfer. Fine, it's my fault for overestimating you." Seeing that Xia Youyu and the Female God of War were only at the Spirit Transformation Realm, the Vermilion Bird couldn't help but shake her head.
