Shi Hao's gaze finally landed on Yue Chan and Qing Yi.
"Mine first," Qing Yi said with a gentle smile, then took a few steps forward with her daughter.
"Alright," Shi Hao nodded with a smile and took Qing Yi's daughter.
The moment Shi Hao held her, the daughter instantly quieted down, her small eyes fixed on Shi Hao.
She didn't cry or fuss; she was very quiet, unlike her older sisters.
"Such a good girl," Shi Hao extended a finger and gently poked his daughter's cheek.
"Since you're so quiet, your temperament must follow your mother's. Let's call you Qing Yue." Shi Hao had originally intended to use Qing Yue (Qingyue), but he suddenly remembered that Yue Chan and Qing Yi's previous life names were exactly that.
So Shi Hao didn't use that name, opting for Qing Yue instead.
Qing Yue is also very pleasant to hear.
"Qing Yue? That is quite a gentle name." Hearing her daughter's name, Qing Yi showed a satisfied smile.
Seeing Qing Yi was satisfied, Shi Hao handed Qing Yue back to her.
"Here, this is your fifth daughter." Yue Chan's face was slightly shy. She separated the daughter, who was still suckling, from her embrace and handed her to Shi Hao.
The child immediately burst into tears after being separated.
Clearly, she didn't want to leave her mother's arms.
Shi Hao took his fifth child from Yue Chan's hands.
Looking at his crying daughter, Shi Hao laughed slightly, "This child is the opposite of Qing Yi's child. She loves to cry, and her lively and active personality is quite unlike her mother's."
Shi Hao's words left Yue Chan speechless.
Could she be blamed for this? The child was like this from birth; what could she do?
"Although your personality is somewhat unlike your mother's, the name should still sound as pleasant as hers." Shi Hao gently rocked the daughter in his arms a few times.
"Your name is Yue Xi." After Shi Hao said this, all the women were surprised.
They even looked toward Yun Xi.
"Don't mind me, everyone. If my name is suitable for your daughters, please use it. It's just the character 'Xi'; it's nothing." Yun Xi understood the meaning in their gazes.
Yun Xi, holding Little Stone, answered them with a smile.
"What? Do all of you want to include the character 'Xi' in your children's names?" Seeing their surprised expressions and their gazes toward Yun Xi, Shi Hao was somewhat taken aback.
After handing Yue Xi back to Yue Chan, Shi Hao couldn't help but ask Fu Qu and the others.
"Well... it's not exactly that, but we simply feel the character 'Xi' is very suitable for girls. If we have a daughter in the future, I hope husband can include the character 'Xi' in her name," Fu Qu whispered, blushing.
The other women echoed their agreement.
Seeing them say this, Shi Hao realized what the matter was.
"That's no problem. I don't necessarily have to be the one to name the children. If you think of something pleasant, you can name them yourselves. If I have to name every single child in the future, my brain will probably fry."
"It's fine with just you all now, but later, when the family grows larger, I might not be able to handle all the naming. At that point, you'll have to name them yourselves. Even if they take your surname, that's fine; I have no requirements regarding that."
"Even if they don't take my surname, they are still my children. That fact won't change." Shi Hao's words caused all the women to nod in understanding.
Right now, there are only a handful, perhaps a dozen, but once they go to the Upper Realm, Shi Hao will have many more women around him, and many more pregnancies. At that point, if several, dozens, or even hundreds of children are born in a single day, Shi Hao couldn't possibly name them all individually.
"Since Shi Hao has said so, from now on, everyone can use their own initiative to name their children." Willow Deity spoke up, settling the matter.
"Alright, it's time for the last child, Shi Hao." Willow Deity handed the child in her arms to Shi Hao.
Shi Hao took the child. Looking at Xue'er in his arms, Shi Hao didn't hesitate. "Your name shall be Xue'er. I hope you are as pure as snow." Thinking of the maiden version of Xue'er, Shi Hao couldn't help but feel nostalgic.
Although he still hadn't figured out exactly what was going on, he was very fond of Xue'er.
"Xue'er, this is your name." Looking at Xue'er in his arms, Shi Hao then looked toward Yu Rou on the bed.
Shi Hao carried Xue'er over to Yu Rou and handed the child to her.
Yu Rou had a trace of fear on her face, but maternal instinct drove her to reach out and take her daughter.
After taking her daughter back, Yu Rou began breastfeeding Xue'er.
"Alright, everyone has just given birth and must be very tired. Please return to rest first." Willow Deity instructed the maidservants to take Yun Xi and the others back to their respective courtyards to rest.
Shi Hao bid farewell to them one by one, and the rest of the women also departed.
Finally, the Woman with Double Pupils and Vermilion Bird remained in Yu Rou's room.
The Woman with Double Pupils had wanted to ask Willow Deity why she hadn't given birth like the others, but seeing that Willow Deity and Shi Hao seemed about to discuss something, the Woman with Double Pupils tactfully left.
She simultaneously called for Vermilion Bird to help her back.
Vermilion Bird also realized that Shi Hao needed to speak with Willow Deity privately, so she agreed to the Woman with Double Pupils' request.
Supporting the Woman with Double Pupils, she left Yu Rou's room.
Shi Hao instructed Vermilion Bird to be careful and take good care of the Woman with Double Pupils, as she was the only one left with a large belly.
Vermilion Bird nodded in response, assuring him.
After everyone had left, Willow Deity sat down by the bed.
Shi Hao sat down on the sofa, looked at Willow Deity, and asked, "So, what exactly is going on with all of this? Willow Deity, you must know. Can you tell me?"
"I knew you would ask," Willow Deity said with a smile. "I know the suspicions in your heart, but I truly cannot tell you this matter. In fact, I will have to sever some of my own memories shortly to ensure that everything that follows does not deviate. Just like you, I will also Seal a portion of your memories."
Willow Deity's words caused Shi Hao to show a surprised expression.
"Is it that serious? What could cause you to take such measures? And what exactly is this 'Parallel World' that Xue'er mentioned?"
"I already told you, there is no such thing as a 'Parallel World.' The so-called Parallel World is just another possibility. Xue'er already mentioned that once your strength reaches Above Sacrificial Dao, you will understand."
Willow Deity naturally wouldn't tell Shi Hao that the so-called Parallel World was actually a Timeline where Shi Hao, having reached Above Sacrificial Dao in his future, returned to the present.
The current Timeline now is the Main Timeline.
However, in the future, Shi Hao grew bored and returned to the present to walk the path again, but his second journey would not be the same as the current Timeline.
In the future, Shi Hao created many erroneous Timelines, Timelines that violated human ethics and morality.
Xue'er was born in one of these erroneous Timelines. Therefore, the future Willow Deity transmitted memories back to the current Willow Deity, allowing the current Willow Deity to prune some of the erroneous Timelines.
