The source of darkness

"Above Sacrificial Dao..." Shi Hao's face instantly darkened.

Forget about Above Sacrificial Dao; even the Dao Proving stage would take him a long time to reach.

By the time he got there, it would be far too late.

But seeing the Willow Deity like this, he understood that many factors must be involved; otherwise, she wouldn't have kept it from him.

Seeing the shift in Shi Hao's expression, the Willow Deity knew she had to strike while the iron was hot and make him forget what had just happened.

"Trust me, this is the best decision for you," the Willow Deity said gently, reaching out to hold one of Shi Hao's hands.

That kind of erroneous timeline—she would be the one to sever it.

"Alright, I'll listen to you," Shi Hao agreed helplessly.

Even if he didn't agree, there was nothing he could do; the Willow Deity certainly wouldn't tell him.

Rather than being troubled, it was better to let the Willow Deity sever it and wait until his strength reached Above Sacrificial Dao to reconsider.

Seeing Shi Hao agree, the Willow Deity smiled.

"Good. Then I will first sever your memory, and later I will give you a surprise as compensation." The Willow Deity thought of something and took the initiative to kiss Shi Hao.

Then, while kissing Shi Hao, she carefully deleted all the memories regarding Xue'er.

Rather than calling it deleting, it was more like severing that portion of his memory.

"What's going on? Why am I here?" Shi Hao, his memory severed, felt as if he had been with Red Phoenix, Blue Rain, and Zi Yan just a second ago.

The next moment, he was in Yu Rou's room, in the Willow Deity's arms, and it seemed he had been kissed by her.

"It's nothing, just deleted some insignificant memories," the Willow Deity said with a smile, holding Shi Hao.

Then she kissed him again, this time returning the memory of him naming the children of Yun Xi, The Witch, and the others.

Feeling the extra memories in his mind, Shi Hao quickly realized what was happening.

Seeing Shi Hao's reaction, the Willow Deity knew he was fine.

"Next is my turn, but before that, I need to delete some of her memories as well." The Willow Deity set Shi Hao down, walked to the couch, and looked at Yu Rou, who was nursing Xue'er. "Relax, I'm just deleting some irrelevant memories."

Yu Rou nodded.

She had heard the conversation between the Willow Deity and Shi Hao; though she didn't understand it, she felt it was an extraordinary discussion.

So when the Willow Deity wanted to delete those memories, she didn't refuse.

Soon, the Willow Deity deleted the conversation Yu Rou had just heard.

While deleting them, the Willow Deity also stuffed some of her own future memories into Yu Rou's mind.

After finishing everything, the Willow Deity returned to Shi Hao's side and sat down.

"Now it's my turn." As the Willow Deity spoke, countless emerald willow branches appeared behind her, emitting an infinite light.

The emerald willow branches soon enveloped the Willow Deity.

Shi Hao could only watch.

Meanwhile, on the bed, Yu Rou was stunned after receiving the memories from the Willow Deity.

Then Yu Rou's gaze turned toward Shi Hao and the Willow Deity, who was wrapped in emerald willow branches.

Yu Rou looked at Xue'er, who was nursing in her arms, and wanted to say something, but after looking at the child, she ultimately gave up.

After a while, the Willow Deity completed the self-sealing of her memories.

Of course, the memories she sealed were those from her future self.

If she didn't Seal these memories, she feared that knowing too much would instead harm Shi Hao.

After the sealing was complete, the Willow Deity looked dazed for a moment.

Then, looking at Shi Hao, she couldn't help but say in surprise, "I sealed a part of my own memories; it seems something extraordinary has happened."

"I also had part of my memory severed by you," Shi Hao said, spreading his hands helplessly.

Having had his memory severed, he didn't know what it was that would make the Willow Deity personally sever it, especially with his own consent.

Now even the Willow Deity herself had sealed her own memories.

"It seems we can only know once our strength reaches the Immortal Emperor level," the Willow Deity said with a smile.

"Alright, let's not talk about that. Let me give you a surprise." The Willow Deity suddenly sat down beside Shi Hao and placed one of his hands on her belly.

Seeing this, Shi Hao was stunned for a moment, then immediately reacted, becoming incredibly excited.

"Willow Deity, you... you're pregnant?" Shi Hao looked at her in disbelief.

"Yes... I just became pregnant not long ago," the Willow Deity said with a smile.

"That's wonderful, that's wonderful!" Shi Hao hugged the Willow Deity, overjoyed.

Hugged tightly by Shi Hao, the Willow Deity didn't say anything more but hugged him back, gently patting his back.

On the couch, Yu Rou, who was nursing Xue'er, heard their conversation and then looked at the child in her arms.

She decided not to tell them after all.

Having received memories from her future self, she understood that the Willow Deity was carrying a girl, and it was because of the Willow Deity's daughter that many erroneous timelines would occur in the future.

The Willow Deity and the others thought all the blame lay with her daughter, but that was actually wrong; Xue'er was merely following that person's orders, and everything was a scheme orchestrated by that person.

Seeing this scene now, Yu Rou could have told them.

But thinking about how long she had been bullied by Shi Hao, her vengeful side emerged, and she naturally wouldn't tell them.

Furthermore, the Willow Deity shouldn't have given her the memories of her future self.

Although it was just a bit of insignificant memory, her future self was, after all, an Immortal Emperor.

Tampering slightly with the memories was no problem, which was why the Willow Deity couldn't detect it.

"Go ahead and be happy; you'll regret it in the future," Yu Rou looked at Shi Hao with a smirk.

Then she looked at the daughter in her arms.

"Xue'er, Xue'er, my dear Xue'er, you have it so hard; to think your father is such a person. But it's okay, Mother is here now, and he won't do anything to you. Mother can't protect you for a lifetime, but I can protect you until you grow up."

"At least... at least until then, you will be happy," Yu Rou comforted Xue'er in her arms.

The future world was dark—at least for women like them, it was incredibly dark.

Yu Rou's gaze turned to Shi Hao, who was kissing the Willow Deity.

It was him—the source of chaos in the Heavens and Myriad Realms.

In the future Heavens and Myriad Realms, not a single female would escape his grasp.

This god-damned Devil Head was so loathsome.

Yu Rou looked at Xue'er in her arms; thinking that in the future she would have to give birth to more lovely daughters like Xue'er—so many she couldn't even count them—she hated Shi Hao to death.

This Devil Head did nothing but procreate; the Heavens and Myriad Realms were filled with his offspring.

The so-called "Weirdness" seemed so insignificant before his descendants.

This Devil Head wouldn't even spare the Weirdness; he was a bona fide Dark Tycoon.

Thinking about how dark the future would be, Yu Rou felt a bit suffocated.

And yet, there was nothing she could do.

"Forget it, if it's dark, then it's dark. It's just having children, isn't it!" Once Yu Rou thought about how she would be promoted to Immortal Emperor in the future by having children, she immediately felt much better.

Although Shi Hao was a bastard, bearing his children really could increase one's strength. Her future self had followed in the footsteps of Yun Xi and the others, ascending to the rank of Immortal Emperor because she had given birth to countless daughters.

"Whatever, let it be," Yu Rou muttered softly, pulling the quilt over herself and ignoring the intimacy between Shi Hao and the Willow Deity.

Shi Hao was extremely happy after learning that the Willow Deity was pregnant.

Overjoyed, he held the Willow Deity tightly.

"Willow Deity, let's go back."

"Alright," the Willow Deity nodded gently.

Thus, Shi Hao carried the Willow Deity in his arms and left Yu Rou's room. Upon returning to the Willow Deity's courtyard, he couldn't wait to carry her into her bedchamber.

Since the Willow Deity became pregnant, Shi Hao experienced a different feeling from her.

It was a feeling that only a pregnant woman could provide.

After Yun Xi and the others had given birth, the only pregnant woman left was the Woman with Double Pupils. Now that the Willow Deity was pregnant, it was enough to make up for Yun Xi, The Witch, Fire Spirit, Yue Chan, and Qing Yi.
