3: Swallow the ice python and leave the zoo!

“Now, it’s time to leave here.”

Looking at the blood rain still falling from the sky, Xia Fan remembered that this heavy rain would not stop for a short time.

Now that he had acquired the Devour ability, he could take advantage of the heavy rain’s cover to leave Jianghai Zoo.

This was human territory after all, and he had not yet fully grown. If he faced thermal weapon attacks, he would still struggle.

As a fierce beast who had obtained the Devour ability, Xia Fan naturally had to return to the mountains, hunt other fierce beasts, and rapidly grow; that was the way of a king.

Moreover, in the mountains, due to the infusion of blood rain energy, some plants had also evolved, bearing various rare treasures.

These rare treasures, whether consumed by fierce beasts or humans, could bring great benefits.

“I remember that in the Dali Mountains on the outskirts of Jianghai City, a thunder essence fruit appeared at the beginning of the evolution.”

“If I can get it first and swallow it, I will be able to control the power of lightning.”

The power of lightning is extremely terrifying; according to ability level classification, it is at least S-rank.

If he could obtain this thunder essence fruit, Xia Fan’s strength would undoubtedly be greatly enhanced once again.

Thinking of this, Xia Fan went directly to the tempered glass outside the Tiger Enclosure.

Crack!

With a thought, Xia Fan directly activated his Berserk ability, brandishing his tiger claws, which were like metal, and easily cut through the hard tempered glass.

Leaping out of the Tiger Enclosure, Xia Fan, following his memory, braved the heavy rain and walked towards the entrance of Jianghai Zoo.

Suddenly, Xia Fan’s body stiffened, his tiger ears twitched sensitively, and his eyes instantly became sharp.

He sensed the aura of a fierce beast!

“It seems that there are other animals in this zoo that have successfully awakened their innate abilities and advanced to first-order fierce beasts.”

Jianghai Zoo was a relatively famous large zoo in the country, with many animals inside. Xia Fan was not surprised that a fierce beast had awakened.

After a moment of hesitation, Xia Fan followed the aura, slowly approaching, while also concealing his own aura.

Since a fierce beast had awakened, it must have awakened an innate ability and condensed an ability crystal in its body.

Xia Fan, who had just obtained the Devour ability, naturally would not let go of such a good opportunity.

Soon, Xia Fan followed this aura and arrived at the reptile area of the zoo.

“Hiss! Hiss!”

Hissing sounds entered Xia Fan’s ears, and a strange look flashed in his eyes.

“It seems this fierce beast should be a snake.”

Following the tempered glass barrier outside, Xia Fan immediately saw the appearance of the fierce beast inside.

He saw a huge python, ten meters long, emitting a faint silver light all over its body, as if covered in scales.

This Silver Python now seemed to be in some pain, opening its massive mouth and spewing out astonishing cold air.

Wherever the Silver Python passed, the ground condensed into a layer of ice crystals.

“This fierce beast is actually a giant python, and it has also awakened an ice-attribute innate ability.”

Outside the tempered glass, Xia Fan looked at the silver giant python inside, a glint of light flashing in his eyes.

This Silver Python had obviously just finished evolving and had not yet fully familiarized itself with its abilities, making it the best time for him to act.

Thinking of this, Xia Fan did not hesitate, immediately swinging his sharp claws and easily slicing open the tempered glass in front of him with a crack.

The sudden movement instantly attracted the Silver Python’s attention.

“Hiss!”

Feeling the fierce beast aura emanating from Xia Fan, the Silver Python immediately became wary, its snake pupils flickering with ferocity.

Subsequently, the tiger and the python made no unnecessary movements.

Xia Fan directly activated his Berserk ability, and terrifying power swept through his entire body. His tiger body instantly enlarged, and he charged straight towards the Silver Python.

The Silver Python hissed, its snake eyes cold, twisting its huge snake tail, and sweeping it towards Xia Fan.

With ten years of experience fighting fierce beasts in his previous life, Xia Fan easily dodged the Silver Python’s attack, and his sharp tiger claws seized the opportunity to land on its body.

Tear!

The tiger claws, like gold poured, easily left a large gash on the Silver Python’s body, and scarlet blood gushed out.

“Hiss!”

The Silver Python cried out in pain with a tragic hiss, then suddenly opened its massive mouth, and an astonishing cold air spewed out, sweeping towards Xia Fan.

Xia Fan was well prepared; he leaped, agilely dodging the Silver Python’s cold air attack.

The terrifying cold air landed on the ground, instantly freezing and forming an area of ice.

“Hiss!”

Seeing that it missed, the Silver Python was about to open its mouth again, but Xia Fan did not give it the chance. After getting close, he swung his sharp claws, fiercely slashing its abdomen.

To strike a snake, you must strike its seven inches; a python is no exception.

The abdomen is the most vital part of a python’s body. Xia Fan’s claw went deep into the flesh, almost tearing out the Silver Python’s internal organs.

“Hiss!”

Suffering such heavy injuries, the Silver Python instantly lost its fighting power. Its huge snake body rolled on the ground, and scarlet blood flowed everywhere.

Xia Fan naturally showed no mercy; when it’s down, finish it off!

After Xia Fan’s claw again pierced the Silver Python’s head, it twitched a few times and then stopped moving.

Taking a deep breath, Xia Fan then eagerly pulled out a snow-white ability crystal from the Silver Python’s body.

Without any hesitation, Xia Fan directly swallowed this snow-white crystal, while also activating his Devour ability.

A mysterious devouring force emerged from within Xia Fan, quickly enveloping the snow-white crystal.

Xia Fan felt a bone-chilling coldness coursing through his body, as if changing his physical structure.

The evolution between fierce beasts basically relies on devouring the flesh and blood of other powerful fierce beasts, or rare treasures.

However, this kind of devouring can only absorb the essence of blood and qi from the fierce beast’s flesh and blood to evolve the physical body, and cannot absorb the opponent’s innate ability.

Unless the bloodlines of the two fierce beasts are extremely compatible, at least being of the same species, there is only a chance to absorb the opponent’s innate ability.

But now, Xia Fan, who had awakened the Devour ability, could absorb any fierce beast’s innate ability with 100% certainty.

A moment later, a layer of frost suddenly flashed across Xia Fan’s golden fur.

“It succeeded!”

A hint of joy flashed in Xia Fan’s eyes; he had successfully devoured the Silver Python’s innate ability.

Frost Breath: B-rank innate ability, capable of spewing out ice power!

The next moment, Xia Fan directly opened his tiger mouth, and a terrifying cold air immediately sprayed out, landing on the Silver Python’s corpse.

In an instant, a layer of ice crystals condensed on the Silver Python’s corpse.

Xia Fan was extremely satisfied in his heart. Although it was only a B-rank innate ability, he did not dislike it at all.

One more innate ability meant he had one more means of dealing with enemies, elevating his strength to a new level.

Moreover, as he continued to evolve, the power of this Frost Breath would also continue to increase, serving as an additional long-range attack method.

“Next, it’s time to leave this zoo!”

Xia Fan slapped the Silver Python’s corpse with a claw, shattering the ice crystals, then opened his massive mouth and began to gnaw on the giant python’s flesh and blood.

After several intense battles, he had also consumed a lot and now felt a bit hungry.
