126: Chapter 126 Migration of the Entire Clan

A group of people stepped onto the dust, landing outside the mountain gate of Luoxia Valley.

Stepping onto this familiar land, everyone from Luoxia Valley felt their hearts shrouded in a thick layer of sorrow and bitterness.

The once majestic and grand mountain gate of Luoxia Valley had long since lost its former glory.

The massive cyan stone that had stood at the valley entrance for hundreds of years, engraved with the vigorous, ancient characters for "Luoxia Valley," had been smashed to pieces, with broken rocks scattered all over the ground.

Looking inward from the ruined entrance, the bluestone path that ran through the entire valley was a mess; the originally clean and orderly stone slabs were now littered with countless pieces of debris discarded at will.

The simple, ancient courtyards built along the mountainside had mostly been forcibly demolished, with beams and pillars collapsed and doors and windows shattered; in many places, wisps of lingering black smoke still curled about.

The devastation left in the wake of the raging war was laid bare before everyone's eyes.

And inside Luoxia Valley, the chaos had not yet ended.

Many small and medium-sized forces from the surrounding areas, hearing the news and taking advantage of the fact that Luoxia Valley was left unguarded, had broken in to loot resources.

Factions of various sizes were scattered everywhere, ransacking storehouses and hauling away spiritual materials.

There were even many small forces with shallow foundations that lacked decent storage equipment; their Disciples carried things on their shoulders or in their hands, clumsily moving tables, chairs, utensils, and ordinary spiritual materials out, unwilling to let go of even the most insignificant trifles.

Watching this chaotic scene, everyone felt a complicated mix of emotions. In the past, Luoxia Valley had been one of the top existences among all forces in Qingzhou, with deep foundations and a renowned reputation, boasting thousands of Disciples. Ordinary small forces hadn't even been qualified to approach its mountain gate.

Yet, in just a few short days, a catastrophic disaster had descended, causing the century-old Sect to collapse abruptly. The once dominant major Sect had been reduced to a ruin left to be plundered by ants.

"Clean this place up first."

Lin Qing gazed at the ruined valley, his tone light and devoid of much emotion. After giving the order, he flew straight toward Luoxia Hall.

Naturally, he did not need to take action himself. The Sect Heads of the three top forces who had survived, along with a group of Sixth Stage Elders, were all following obediently behind the group.

Having witnessed Lin Qing's combat power firsthand, this group of people, who had once been high and mighty, were now trembling with fear. Without Lin Qing's permission, they dared not leave on their own.

With a group of Sixth Stage Cultivators taking action to clear the area, the small and medium-sized forces looting in the valley could not stir up any trouble at all.

In less than an hour, the chaos in Luoxia Valley was completely quelled. Afterward, these Sixth Stage Cultivators gathered in Luoxia Hall, waiting for Lin Qing to dispense judgment.

Inside Luoxia Hall, Lin Qing sat in the main seat, with Sect Master Shen Yurong and a group of Luoxia Valley Elders and Disciples standing on both sides.

It was not that Lin Qing was arrogant; rather, the current situation was special. With the Sect Heads of the remaining three top forces and the Sixth Stage Elders of various Sects present, given Sect Master Shen Yurong's status and cultivation, she simply could not control the situation.

Lin Qing's gaze swept calmly across the room, eventually landing on the group of Elders from the Great Qi Imperial Family:

"As for the follow-up matters of the Imperial Family, wait for Sixth Princess Duan Qingwan to return and handle them."

With this single sentence, Lin Qing was effectively placing the Sixth Princess on the throne of Great Qi.

With the current drastic changes in the situation of Great Qi, the King of Qi and the Third Prince had both perished. Among the remaining princes and princesses, only Princess Duan Qingwan was the most qualified to inherit the throne.

Even though her cultivation was currently only at the Peak of the Fourth Stage, the Imperial Family had always valued Bloodline above all else. As long as she had the support of the Imperial kinsmen and the surviving old officials, it would not be difficult for the Sixth Princess to secure her position on the throne of Great Qi.

As for whether some Imperial Uncle might emerge later to rebel and seize power, that had nothing to do with Lin Qing.

The group of Elders from the Imperial Family bowed and cupped their hands in unison, indicating their compliance with Lin Qing's arrangements.

Except for the Qiushan Sect, the Sect Heads of the other three top forces were still alive. Their Sect structures and high-level systems were still intact, so they could handle their own subsequent affairs without needing Lin Qing's intervention.

The only exception was the Qiushan Sect.

The Qiushan Sect was now leaderless. On Lin Qing's side, there was a pair of middle-aged Dao Companions he could trust. However, their cultivation was only at the Early Stage of the Sixth Stage. If he were to let them take charge of the Qiushan Sect, once Lin Qing left, they would never be able to suppress the factional conflicts within the Sect.

After a moment of contemplation, Lin Qing's gaze swept over the remaining members of the Qiushan Sect:

"The internal affairs of the Qiushan Sect shall be handled in coordination by the other five major forces."

"There is only one rule—treat the innocent Disciples of the Sect well."

In the past, the Qiushan Sect had wanted to extend its reach into Qingzhou, and on the battlefield, the Qiushan Sect Leader had been foolish and made the wrong choice. Since that was the case, there was no need for the Qiushan Sect to exist. Not implicating innocent people was already Lin Qing's greatest mercy.

The various forces nodded in agreement. Once the arrangements were settled, the personnel from the other forces withdrew one after another. In the vast Luoxia Hall, only the remaining members of Luoxia Valley and the pair of middle-aged Dao Companions were left.

Lin Qing looked at the despondent Sect Master Shen Yurong and the group of Disciples who had survived the disaster beside her, and said:

"Pack your bags and follow me to Chuyun City."

"But..."

Sect Master Shen Yurong looked up upon hearing this, her eyes filled with reluctance.

Luoxia Valley was the Sect she had protected her entire life; it was a Legacy foundation of hundreds of years, the roots protected by generations of predecessors who had shed their blood.

The entire landscape, every blade of grass and every tree, held her memories from childhood to adulthood. To make her abandon her ancestral land and leave her home like this filled her heart with thousands of regrets and immense reluctance.

Lin Qing raised his hand, directly interrupting her:

"The Xuanye Demon Court's siege of Luoxia Valley had me as its true target."

"As long as I am alive, and as long as the Xuanye Demon Court is not destroyed, there will never be a secure place for you to stand on this land of Great Qi."

"Staying here will only lead to one purge and assassination after another in the future; you will not be able to escape the fate of destruction."

"First, follow me to Chuyun City to settle down. When the situation stabilizes in the future, if you wish to return and revitalize the Sect, I will never stop you."

Sect Master Shen Yurong looked at the ruined hall and the injured Disciples beside her, and nodded in helpless compromise.

In the time that followed, the group found the remains of Yuan Kun and the Elders, and buried them.

Afterward, Sect Master Shen Yurong sent out messages, recalling the Luoxia Valley Disciples who had been evacuated in batches earlier.

However, having endured such a catastrophe, and with Lin Qing's existence not being made public, fewer than thirty percent of the original Disciples responded to the summons and returned.

Facing the returning surviving Disciples, Sect Master Shen Yurong truthfully informed them of the follow-up relocation plans, leaving the choice to them freely: those willing to relocate with the Sect would leave together, and those wishing to remain in their homeland would settle down on their own.

At the same time, Lin Qing also took the initiative to send a message, contacting Sun Shaoping, who was far away at the Chuyun Immortal Sect.

The transmission connected, and Sun Shaoping's voice came through the token:

"Lin Qing, how did things go?"

Sun Shaoping was slightly different from usual; his voice lacked some of its cheerfulness and was more composed, and his attitude toward Lin Qing was not as enthusiastic as before.

Lin Qing did not engage in unnecessary pleasantries; he briefly explained what had happened, focusing on informing the Sun Family of the potential crisis.

The Xuanye Demon Court had included the Sun Family, who were on good terms with him, on their purge list. If the Sun Family continued to stay in Great Qi, they would sooner or later face a catastrophic disaster.

The reason he was able to provide timely reinforcements this time was entirely due to the Sun Family's tip-off. Because the Sun Family had been dragged into this disaster due to him, both in terms of sentiment and reason, he had to handle the aftermath for them.

Lin Qing promised that if the Sun Family was also willing to relocate, he was willing to provide protection during the journey.

After Sun Shaoping contacted the Sun Family, he indicated that they were willing to relocate and follow Lin Qing to Chuyun City.

For the next half a month, while waiting for the Sun Family to settle their assets, Lin Qing traveled to large chambers of commerce in several surrounding countries and purchased five giant Flying Boats.

Half a month passed in the blink of an eye.

Five magnificent giant Flying Boats hovered above Luoxia Valley. The remaining Disciples of Luoxia Valley, the core members of the Sun Family, and all supplies and baggage were all boarded and in position.

Accompanied by a low roar of spiritual power, the five giant Flying Boats slowly ascended into the sky and sailed toward the direction of the Chuyun Immortal Sect.
