163: Chapter 163 Enhancement of the Five Elements Will

Lin Qing was dumbfounded. Was it that savage?

"Senior, wouldn't it be more convenient to enter through your mouth?"

The Old Turtle looked at Lin Qing with a strange expression.

"What nonsense are you spouting? The injury is inside my body, not in the digestive tract. Do you want to be digested by me? Obviously, you should follow the blood vessels!"

"!" That made sense!

The Old Turtle's body was far too massive; even its blood vessels were nearly a hundred zhang wide. The blood seemed to have been affected by the Five Elements Will, and its color was no longer pure.

After entering its body, the Old Turtle seemed less composed, carrying Lin Qing forward at high speed. In just a moment, the man and the turtle arrived at the Old Turtle's heart.

A five-colored sphere of light forcibly pushed aside the blood that should have filled the area, revealing a space a hundred zhang wide.

"These forces of will were originally scattered throughout my body. I gathered them together. During the process, they hardly resisted; instead, it was as if they were attracting each other."

"After they gathered together, they formed this sphere of light before us, and I was completely unable to dispel them. The sphere of light wreaked havoc all the way through my body before finally choosing to stop here."

"Although I know it's dangerous here, I dare not act rashly again."

"Senior, let me try first."

Lin Qing sat cross-legged in mid-air. He did not immediately try to control this mass of will; instead, he stared at it.

This was a cultivation method for the force of will he had discovered. During the time he was traveling with Ling Shu and the other, he noticed that his Divine Thought was improving at a speed far exceeding the past, so he opened the System panel to check.

Naturally, he discovered a brand-new talent, 'Sitting in Oblivion and Selflessness.' At the same time, he also found that his progress in the Five Elements Will had improved significantly, and a brand-new force of will had appeared: the Wind Will.

Lin Qing knew this was a change that occurred during the storm. Although wind is derived from wood, it is still considered an independent attribute. Likewise, because wind is a mutation of wood, his Five Elements Will had improved during the storm.

This ability to improve one's will simply by looking is actually not unique to Lin Qing, because that is how the force of will is cultivated.

Cultivating the will is completely different from Martial Skills or Spells. Martial Skills and Spells have clear Moves or routes for Spiritual Qi circulation; a Cultivator only needs to follow the methods described in books, and if they can perform them, it means they have mastered a Spell or Martial Skill.

However, cultivating the will is very abstract. It is like being given a sword mark and being told it contains Sword Intent, then being forced to stare at it or feel it; if you cannot comprehend it, there is nothing to be done.

Although Lin Qing's cultivation method is the same as others, Lin Qing's "staring" is different. As long as it truly contains a force of will—and it is not something Lin Qing has already mastered, or if his mastery progress is lower than the force of will contained in that object—Lin Qing can forcibly comprehend it through the System.

Just like that, inside the Old Turtle's heart, Lin Qing stared at the sphere of light for over ten days, and the progress of his Five Elements Will on the panel continued to increase during this process.

After his progress increased by nearly 200 points, Lin Qing finally felt that the sphere of light was no longer effective for him.

In the end, this was only the residual part of an attack; being able to provide Lin Qing with so much progress was already enough to satisfy him.

After cultivation ended, Lin Qing combined his own Five Elements Will with his Divine Thought and slowly approached the sphere of light floating in the space, beginning to attempt to handle it for the Old Turtle.

The Old Turtle could naturally easily perceive the movements of Lin Qing's Divine Thought, and at this moment, it couldn't help but feel nervous.

Things went more smoothly than imagined. Lin Qing's level of comprehension of the will was not weaker than the sphere of light before him, and his Divine Thought easily wrapped around it.

Then, Lin Qing began to guide this force of will, and the sphere of light began to Move slowly.

"Senior, lead the way!"

After controlling the sphere of light, Lin Qing turned his head and said to the Old Turtle. The Old Turtle dared not delay and immediately began to lead the way for Lin Qing.

In no time, the man and the turtle returned along the original path. Carrying that force of will, Lin Qing returned to the outside world from the wound on the Old Turtle's neck.

After coming out, Lin Qing did not immediately release his Divine Thought. Instead, he flew another several hundred thousand li with the sphere of light to prevent it from returning to the Old Turtle's body.

The situation he worried about did not happen. Having lost the restraint of Lin Qing's Divine Thought, the sphere of light formed by the Five Elements Will slowly dissipated in the air.

The Old Turtle came to Lin Qing's side, its expression carrying a hint of excitement, and bowed to Lin Qing:

"Little Friend Lin Qing, a great kindness needs no thanks! If there is ever anything you need my help with in the future, just speak up!"

The Old Turtle rarely had contact with humans, and its sense of dignity as a powerful being was not strong. In its view, Lin Qing had helped it dispel a problem that had plagued it for many years, so it was only natural that it should bow and express its gratitude.

Lin Qing was flattered and hurriedly helped the Old Turtle up.

The Old Turtle brought Lin Qing back to the location of its main body. Various items wrapped in spiritual power floated out from the Old Turtle's opened mouth.

The Old Turtle gathered them up and sent them to Lin Qing.

"Little friend, these are the Materials I have collected while wandering various places over these years. They are of no use to me, so I gift them all to you today. Please, little friend, you must accept them."

Hundreds upon hundreds of various spiritual Materials were handed to Lin Qing just like that, most of which were Divine-Grade. Looking at the Old Turtle's sincere eyes, Lin Qing nodded and waved his hand to store these Materials into his Storage Ring.

"Then this Junior will respectfully accept."

After Lin Qing accepted the Materials, the Old Turtle took out a palm-sized piece of turtle shell and handed it to Lin Qing.

"This contains my Divine Thought imprint. You can use it to communicate with me, and you can also activate it in times of crisis."

Although the Old Turtle had existed for long, long years, its heart remained pure. And it seemed truly grateful to Lin Qing, continuously giving him various tokens of gratitude.

Lin Qing promptly stopped the Old Turtle's actions. He could not leave an impression of being greedy. With such a supreme powerhouse, there might be opportunities to interact in the future.

"Senior, that is enough!"

Lin Qing thought of Grand Aunt-Master Qing Yao, who was still bitterly searching for her Disciples in the ocean, and bowed to the Old Turtle.

"Senior, I wonder if you could find people wearing the same attire as those on my Flying Boat."

The Old Turtle gently spread out its Divine Thought. This sea area was sparsely populated, but after just a moment, the Old Turtle raised its hand and pointed, transmitting a string of information into Lin Qing's mind.

Lin Qing carefully sensed the information in his mind. The coverage of the Old Turtle's Divine Thought had reached hundreds of millions of li away.

"Senior, if there is nothing else, this Junior will take his leave."

The Old Turtle nodded. "Very well, little friend, your talent is extraordinary. We shall meet again."
