542: Chapter 541 Pangu Square!

Ma Jinlun was stunned on the spot.

The sight before his eyes left him completely bewildered.

There was no fairyland as he had imagined, nor any futuristic sci-fi city.

The soft white light strips still surrounded him, and the 50-inch embedded screen remained in front of him, still displaying the "Huaxia Future" logo.

He... was actually still inside that familiar alloy container.

Everything was exactly as it had been; there were no changes whatsoever.

"What is going on?"

Ma Jinlun's heart skipped a beat.

He subconsciously looked down at himself.

The incredibly cool Space Exploration Edition Exoskeleton Armor he had been wearing was gone.

In its place was the casual outfit he had put on that morning.

Even the mud he had accidentally gotten on his pant leg was still exactly where it had been.

"You've got to be kidding me? Is that it? Are you playing with me?"

Ma Jinlun could hardly believe it.

He raised his hand and pinched his own arm hard.

"Hiss—"

A familiar sensation of pain shot through him.

"What on earth is going on?"

Ma Jinlun was completely bewildered.

The sensation of his soul being pulled away just moments ago had definitely not been a hallucination.

But why was he still in the real world, still inside this container?

Could it be that his brainwaves were incompatible, or that the connection device had malfunctioned?

But what about the Exoskeleton Armor he had been wearing?

Just as he was deep in thought, unable to find an answer, "Hiss—" the thick alloy door in front of him suddenly emitted a faint sound of hydraulic pressure releasing and slid silently to the side.

An incredibly blinding light instantly poured in from outside the door.

Ma Jinlun subconsciously raised his hand to shield his eyes and walked out in the direction from which the light was streaming.

The moment he stepped out of the container, he froze completely.

Outside the door, it was no longer his familiar villa courtyard, but a... magnificent Pangu Plaza beyond description!

The plaza was paved with a type of jade that emitted a warm, white glow, and it was so vast that he couldn't see the edge at a glance.

Intricate and profound golden patterns were engraved into the jade floor. These patterns seemed alive, with golden light slowly flowing through them, eventually converging into a massive Taiji Yin-Yang pattern in the center of the plaza.

In the center of the plaza stood a massive bronze tripod carved with intricate dragon patterns. Wisps of smoke drifted from the tripod, releasing a scent of sandalwood that calmed the soul.

Ma Jinlun suddenly looked up.

There was no blue sky or white clouds, nor sun, moon, or stars. In their place was an aurora canopy woven from deep purple, royal blue, and emerald green, flowing slowly like silk.

And in the distance of the sky, there were massive, gravity-defying floating fairy islands.

Sitting atop these floating fairy islands were clusters of palaces and pavilions that combined classical Huaxia architectural styles with a futuristic, sci-fi aesthetic. They featured carved beams, painted rafters, and sweeping eaves, yet they shimmered with neon-like lights.

Countless vibrant, iridescent rainbow bridges connected these fairy islands suspended in the air.

Occasionally, one could see a few Yaoguang fairy cranes with long, trailing tail feathers darting through the distant sea of clouds, emitting clear, resonant cries.

This... wasn't this the Pangu Plaza from the holographic projection that Hostess Li Dan had shown when she introduced Nanke Dreamscape during the Spring Festival Gala?!

Ma Jinlun stared blankly at the vivid, mythical fairyland before him. His mind went blank.

He finally understood.

He was no longer in the real world.

This place... was the Nanke Dreamscape!
