110: Are you destiny?

"Find the Chaos Temple, comprehend the Heart of Chaos through Chaos, and obtain the Chaos Class Change."

A simple clue, but in reality, it wasn't as simple as it looked.

The keyword lay in [Comprehend].

In the Land of the Final End, for the class advancements Lin Yue knew of, there had never been a concept of 'comprehending.'

Basically, one could successfully complete a class advancement by using a Book of Class Advancement or through a series of quests.

This was the first time Lin Yue had heard of a class advancement that required comprehension.

Could this be a rule unique to Supreme-Rank class advancements?

Lin Yue fell into thought; in his past life, he had never heard of Supreme-Rank classes, and there were almost no clues on the major forums.

He did know a bit about King-rank class advancements—either doing special quests like Wang Chongshan's to exchange for it directly or finding a special NPC to advance through a Legacy.

But the Chaos Class Change required comprehension.

Perhaps Supreme-Rank class advancements couldn't be passed down through a Legacy.

Pulling back his thoughts, Lin Yue first opened his attribute panel.

After the trials of the old man and the Four Divine Beasts, Lin Yue's strength had seen a significant boost.

The guild's additional attributes were not shown on the attribute panel; they were extra buff attributes.

Overall, Lin Yue's current strength was already enough to take on a thousand alone, miles ahead of all other players.

Even though a large number of players were starting their class advancement, it was impossible for any player to reach Lin Yue's current level of power.

It could be said that the dimensions had been pulled apart; Lin Yue fighting any player would be a dimensional strike.

Except for his health, which still needed improvement—at less than 1.8 million health, he still needed more than half the proficiency to upgrade his talent.

Excluding the health added by equipment, the 1-star Life Miracle required 10,000 proficiency and 10,000 health to upgrade.

The 2-star Life Miracle required 100,000 proficiency and 200,000 stacked health to upgrade.

The 3-star Life Miracle now had a proficiency requirement of 1 million, and health must be stacked to 4 million to upgrade. That is to say, to upgrade the 3-star talent to 4-star, Lin Yue needed to stack his total health to over 4.21 million.

Calculating it this way, after subtracting the 70,000 health granted by miscellaneous equipment, Lin Yue still needed to stack another 2.51 million health to upgrade his talent to 4-star.

It wasn't a huge problem. After finishing the ruins quest and crushing the Overlord Guild, Lin Yue would go to Demon Dragon Mountain to grind the Instance dungeon for a while.

Mainly for skill scrolls. Currently, apart from the Novice Village Instance Gloomy Ruins, only the Demon Dragon Mountain Instance could be farmed.

Of course, Lin Yue could also go and open Level 20 or Level 30 Instances, but there wasn't much point.

Experience wouldn't keep up, and the efficiency was mediocre.

It would be better to just farm the Level 40 Demon Dragon Instance Dungeon.

Once he finished the ruins quest and obtained his class advancement, he could level up again.

So the cost-effectiveness of the Demon Dragon Instance Dungeon was quite good.

Closing the attribute panel, he turned his gaze to the old man.

"I need to find the Chaos Temple now. Old man, do you know where it is?"

He didn't know how long it would take to comprehend the Heart of Chaos. Since there was someone right here to ask, Lin Yue didn't want to bother looking for it himself, which would save a lot of time.

"I actually do know. Not only do I know, but the four of them know as well."

The old man smiled and glanced at the Four Divine Beasts. As the guardian of the ruins, he naturally knew of the Chaos Temple.

"Then can you take me there?"

Lin Yue looked delighted. Since Di Jiang knew where it was, things would be easy.

"Originally, according to the rules, I couldn't take you there. However, since this old man shares a fate with you, little friend, I'll make an exception."

"Then thank you very much."

Lin Yue cupped his fists again, thanking Di Jiang for his help.

"No need to thank me. Your temperament suits my taste, and besides, seeing the Four Divine Beasts beaten like that was a good show. This little matter is not worth mentioning."

Di Jiang smiled sideways and walked up to Lin Yue. "Grab my shoulder, I'll take you there."

"Wait a moment, Mr. Di Jiang. When you get to the temple, you must not speak recklessly."

Xuanwu hurriedly called out to Di Jiang, afraid that once Di Jiang saw Chaos, he would reveal the rule-breaking that occurred during the trial.

"Do you think this old man is of the same ilk as you? Since I promised not to tell, I definitely won't."

Glancing coldly at Xuanwu, the Four Divine Beasts lowered their heads one after another, no longer doubting the truth of Di Jiang's words.

Reaching out to press on Di Jiang's shoulder, in the blink of an eye, the two completely disappeared from the volcanic cave.

When he came to his senses again, a palace appeared before his eyes.

The palace was somewhat dilapidated, as if it hadn't been cared for in many years. Its style was ancient, a typical ancient Eastern palace.

He followed Di Jiang all the way to the palace entrance.

Lin Yue's gaze landed on the plaque above the palace gates.

Two Chinese characters, written with powerful and flowing strokes, appeared on the plaque.

Lin Yue subconsciously read them out.

"Chaos!"

"Correct. This is the Chaos Temple. As a guardian, I cannot enter; I can only bring you this far."

The old man also looked up at the plaque, a hint of nostalgia in his eyes.

With a Flash, the old man disappeared, leaving Lin Yue alone.

Stepping toward the temple entrance, dilapidation and dust were everywhere.

Creak!

Pushing the doors open with both hands, Lin Yue clearly saw the scene inside.

It was completely different from the dilapidated exterior; the inside of the temple appeared very clean.

Yes, clean!

The entire hall was spotless, with three prayer mats placed on the floor.

Inside the hall were an altar table, an incense burner, and a huge statue. Its features were unclear; it looked somewhat like the Four Divine Beasts, yet not quite.

"Is anyone there?"

Lin Yue called out.

In the next second, an invisible force swept over him, like a vast ocean, immense and heavy.

"Are you Destiny?"
