132: Federal-issued missions

Lin Xingyu arrived at the front of the team, pushing his star ray shuttle to its limit, rapidly killing the goblins in front.

Under his leadership, the treant army advanced like a broken bamboo, sweeping everything before them.

Soon, they arrived in front of a sky guardian.

Before it could finish charging, Lin Xingyu shattered its cockpit.

The moment he touched the star crystal stone, a terrifying devouring force erupted from Lin Xingyu's Inner World, instantly consuming all the stellar energy within it.

After the energy disappeared, the star crystal stone turned into powder and dissipated into the air.

The expansion speed of the Inner World increased again... "Next!"

With a command from Lin Xingyu, he led the army to change direction and pounce towards the next sky guardian... Lin Xingyu's group weaved back and forth across the battlefield, taking down one sky guardian after another.

When their spiritual power was exhausted, they retreated into the Inner World to recover.

Once they recovered, they would sally forth again, repeating this cycle... Meanwhile, on the other side.

Furnace Slag, the goblin Legion Commander, watched Lin Xingyu's actions with a gloomy expression.

It was these people who disrupted the goblins' originally orderly formation, causing them heavy losses.

They were now at a disadvantage; if this continued, defeat was inevitable.

After entering the Blue Star World, Furnace Slag had gained a preliminary understanding of this world.

This was a higher Rank world than their goblin world.

And their goblin world, in the eyes of the other party, was nothing more than a Secret Realm.

Although unwilling to accept it, this was the truth!

He had originally planned to quickly capture a city and plunder resources before the Blue Star World could react.

But now that his side was at a disadvantage, there was no possibility of capturing a city.

They could only retreat first and look for opportunities later.

Thinking of this, Furnace Slag immediately issued the order to retreat.

As the order was given, silver-white mechas walked out from the Ranks.

Huge "chimneys" rose from their backs, spraying dense white smoke.

Instantly, the entire battlefield was filled with smoke, obstructing human vision.

The goblins, taking advantage of the smoke's cover, abandoned their opponents and retreated backward.

"Quick, who has wind-type abilities? Disperse the smoke!"

...By the time the humans dispersed the smoke, the goblins had already left the battlefield and fled into the distance.

"They're over there!"

"Chase them! Don't let them get away!"

Seeing the goblins flee, the Human Race naturally wouldn't let them go and immediately launched a pursuit.

A chase battle thus began... Half a day later, outside the Goblin Secret Realm.

By the time the goblins fled back to the Secret Realm, only one in ten remained.

The Human Race army did not rashly enter the Secret Realm; instead, they began constructing defensive fortifications outside the Secret Realm.

The Goblin Secret Realm was a C-Rank Secret Realm, only allowing Evolvers of Rank 4 at most to enter.

Since they couldn't send high-Rank combat power to crush them, facing the numerous goblins, humans dared not act rashly.

They could only first build a defensive base outside and send reconnaissance teams into the Secret Realm.

After understanding the situation inside, they would then formulate a detailed combat plan.

At the same time, they gathered Rank 4 Evolvers to prepare for a full-scale assault on the Goblin Secret Realm.

Lin Xingyu and his group also stopped at the entrance of the Secret Realm.

"Brother Xingyu, should we go in?"

Wang Chiyao looked at the spatial rift in front, feeling a bit unsatisfied.

She really liked this atmosphere of war; it made her blood boil.

"Let's come back in a few days. We'll go contend for the space stone ore vein first!"

Lin Xingyu shook his head.

Everything in the Goblin Secret Realm was unknown, and it was uncertain how long it would take to find treasures containing stellar energy.

It would be better to first seize the space stone ore vein; this target was clear, and they wouldn't waste time searching.

Once they had the space stone ore vein, it wouldn't be too late to explore this Secret Realm.

"Alright!"

Wang Chiyao nodded, putting away her Puppet Army.

Lin Xingyu also teleported the treant army back to his Inner World.

Just as everyone was about to mount their rides, a shout came from behind:

"Sirs, please wait!"

Lin Xingyu turned around and saw a soldier from the Wave-Chasing Battle Group walking quickly towards them.

"Our Commander invites you over for a chat!"

The soldier approached, saluted them with a standard military salute, his tone very respectful.

For soldiers, the strong are always worthy of respect.

The performance of these few people on the battlefield left a deep impression on him.

At such a young age, they possessed such powerful strength; their future was limitless.

"Lead the way!"

Lin Xingyu pondered for a moment, then nodded in agreement.

Although he wasn't clear about the other party's intentions, he felt it shouldn't be anything bad.

Lin Xingyu and his group followed the soldier, passing through the resting army, and arrived before Hong Lie, the Commander of the Wave-Chasing Battle Group.

"You little fellows are very good..."

Hong Lie had a genial smile on his face, praising them profusely.

Immediately after, he changed the subject and went straight to the point:

"I have a mission here; I wonder if you are interested?"

...After bidding farewell to Hong Lie, Lin Xingyu and his group left the encampment.

"Brother Yu, should we take this mission?"

Wang Ledian leaned next to Lin Xingyu, asking in a low voice.

Just now, Hong Lie had offered them a mission issued by the Federation:

"Capture the goblin mecha blueprint, reward six million units of spiritual crystals."

Hong Lie didn't ask for an immediate answer but gave them three days to consider.

During this period, if they wanted to accept the mission, they should find him at the entrance of the Goblin Secret Realm.

"We'll see. Let's go seize the space stone ore vein first."

Lin Xingyu wasn't sure either.

It was still unknown how long it would take to contend for the ore vein. If there was enough time, accepting the mission could be considered.

After all, six million units of spiritual crystals was no small sum.

What's more, they originally planned to explore the Goblin Secret Realm anyway, and they could earn some spiritual crystals along the way. Why not?

Moreover, he was also very interested in the goblin mecha blueprints.

The conqueror could produce those mechas according to the blueprints, further enriching the combat methods of the Puppet Army.

"Let's go sort out the spoils of war first."

After leaving here, everyone found a secluded spot and teleported back to the Inner World... "Wow! The Inner World's expansion speed has increased again!"

Wang Chiyao looked at the changes in the Inner World, unable to help but exclaim.

"Yes, I just devoured some star crystal stones."

Lin Xingyu nodded, also very happy to see his Inner World getting better and better.

A total of 12 star crystal stones were devoured in this battle.

Stellar energy was very helpful to the Inner World; he would come back to the Goblin Secret Realm later for a thorough exploration.

After a short rest, everyone began to sort out the spoils of war.

This time, they obtained three types of special mechas. One was the light blue sky guardian.

However, after Lin Xingyu devoured its star crystal stone, it was no longer usable.

Their integrity was relatively high, so they could be sealed up for now.

They would see if they could find a substitute for star crystal stone in the future.

star crystal stone was very helpful to the Inner World, so it couldn't be used for them.

Another type was the dark black "Earth Arbiter."

Unfortunately, it was blown into wreckage by the Dark Fiend Dragon in the previous battle and had no more use.

The last type was the one that sprayed smoke for cover...
