41: I'm taking on your whole class by myself.

Lin Chuan casually absorbed a few times during his morning Cultivation, gathering half an energy fruit, then lost interest.

High school Cultivation was becoming less and less helpful to him.

Training courses, needless to say, were like playing house in his eyes.

If it weren't for the recently acquired position of Class Monitor being somewhat interesting, he would have applied to the principal to self-study at home.

Letting Old Hei fight with the Black Stone Golem while he watched Miss videos upstairs... how leisurely that would be.

It's said that some Beast Taming skills, once activated, allow for Body Integration. Wouldn't that bring out the Beast-Eared Girl?

...In the afternoon, inside the training hall.

"What? You want to challenge other classes?"

Du Yong looked surprised. He hadn't even told him yet, so why was he so proactive?

"Yeah, why not?"

"It's not that it's not allowed, it's just that I've never seen you this enthusiastic. Oh, by the way, there's no reward for such a challenge."

Du Yong added at the end.

"What kind of person do you take me for? I'm a new official taking office, just promoting some inter-class communication."

Lin Chuan then asked, "Is there a limit to the number of challenges?"

"There's no limit within the school, but each class in the same year must be challenged at least once, and it's usually the Class Monitor who fights. As for outside school, there is... never mind, it's useless to talk about it."

Du Yong replied.

"Alright then, I understand. Wait for my good news."

With that, Lin Chuan walked out of the hall.

"I just have a bad feeling about this!"

Du Yong muttered to himself... Lin Chuan randomly picked a training hall used by the third-year students. A class was training inside.

As for their training method, it was no different from Du Yong's.

Seeing a new face walk in without greeting, many students looked at him and discussed amongst themselves.

Many also recognized him: the one who defeated Yan Hao, the new king of Class One.

"Student, is there something you need?" a teacher came over and asked.

"Nothing much, I'm the new Class Monitor of Class One, here to interact with everyone."

Lin Chuan said lightly, but his meaning was clear.

The teacher's expression changed slightly: "You're here to challenge? It's only the first day of the month..."

"Teacher, which class are you from?"

"Class Two."

"Alright, then we'll start with your class. I'm in a hurry!"

Teacher: "..."

Although the teacher was very displeased with Lin Chuan's attitude, he couldn't refuse and could only agree: "Alright then, I'll let the Class Monitor fight."

Soon, a ring was cleared.

The Class Monitor of Class Two said with a troubled face, "He's even more abnormal than Yan Hao. How can I fight? I'll just admit defeat."

"Admit defeat, admit defeat, all you know is admitting defeat! If a Yao Beast comes, will you admit defeat too? Then you might as well stop Cultivating and just stay in the city as an ordinary person!" the Class Two teacher scolded.

Lin Chuan agreed with the teacher's words, so he decided to add fuel to the fire: "My intention is for me, alone, to challenge your entire class. My Beast Tamer will not actively attack. As long as you can knock it off the ring, or if I recall it, I lose."

At these words, Class Two was enraged.

"Damn, what's this kid putting on airs for!"

"Exactly, he's too arrogant..."

"If you've got guts, fight me one-on-one!"

"No, no, no, I really can't beat him one-on-one!"

...The Class Two teacher was also furious. What Lin Chuan said was no different from calling his Class Two trash.

"You said it, don't say our class doesn't follow rules when the time comes. Students, go all out and beat him."

Without the teacher needing to say more, the Class Two students eagerly rolled up their sleeves.

The challenge began.

Lin Chuan directly summoned Old Hei.

After a night of rest, Old Hei had recovered to its peak condition.

To let the Class Two students enjoy the fight, Old Hei still used its enlarged size.

Normally, Old Hei already had a diameter of over two meters. After being enlarged by 2 times, it was nearly eight meters.

Fortunately, this temporary ring was quite large, allowing Old Hei to fit.

"So big!"

"No matter how many times I see it, it's always so shocking."

"Miss, don't touch it, it's not free!"

"Come on!"

Lin Chuan casually applied buffs and then waited for their performance.

For a time, various skills were thrown at Old Hei: wind blades, fireballs, lightning, ice arrows... everything imaginable.

Except for fireballs, other elemental skills still caused damage to Old Hei.

However, their skill Ranks were not high, and Old Hei's star Rank was inherently higher than theirs, so the damage was not significant.

Compared to yesterday's Black Stone Golem, it was like a massage.

Even a massage causes damage. At least, some parts of Old Hei did bleed.

As for physical attacks, there was no need to mention them at all; they weren't even considered a massage.

However, Lin Chuan most hoped for physical melee attacks, as that would mean there was wool to shear.

Wasn't that why he set this up?

Beast Tamer: Wilderness Giant Wolf (Transcendence Five-Star)

Skill: Blood Claw Fury lv5 (Active, unleashes a blood claw, dealing physical damage and defense-ignoring bleeding effect, lasting 40 seconds.)

Passive: Wilderness Pathfinding lv1 (Passive, movement speed increased by 10% in plains terrain.)

Potential: Elite Nine-Star

This was one of the few physical Beast Tamers that could damage Old Hei; the defense-ignoring bleeding effect was too annoying.

Although it looked bloody, the wound would automatically heal once the duration was over.

The skill [Wilderness Pathfinding] could be imprinted, and Lin Chuan naturally wouldn't let it go.

Now, with Old Hei's size, its normal crawling speed was not much slower than Lin Chuan's walking speed.

If he ever needed to go into the wild, he might really have to let Old Hei be his mount... Do Turtles crawl slowly? That's because they don't have enough skills... There were also many melee passives like [Sword Mastery] and [Dual Wielding] that Old Hei couldn't imprint.

Lin Chuan investigated all the melee Beast Tamers and finally found a rather excellent skill:

[Sustained Offense] lv1 (Passive, when dealing damage to the same target again within ten seconds, damage increases by 5%, stackable up to 4 layers.)

This skill, combined with counter-damage, felt incredibly satisfying just thinking about it.

Soon, these melee physical Beast Tamers, after fighting for a long time, were already exhausted, while Old Hei was barely affected.

Only a few ranged Beast Tamers remained, occasionally casting a skill.

The melee ones had been shorn, now it was time for the ranged ones.

Since they were hiding far away, they shouldn't blame Old Hei for playing dirty.

Taunt.

Just as the Lightning Sparrow, having just cast a lightning spell and wiggling its butt, directly plunged its head into Old Hei's shell, unable to pull itself out, its beak stuck in a rock crevice.

"Damn, what's going on?"

A student looked bewildered. His Beast Tamer was enjoying shocking Old Hei, but why did that silly bird suddenly fall uncontrollably?

Lin Chuan ignored him. [Lightning Element Affinity] lv1 was obtained, reducing lightning attribute damage taken by 5% and increasing lightning attribute attack by 5%.

In terms of defense alone, the upper limit of this skill was not as high as other resistance skills, as Old Hei had no lightning attribute attacks, making the attack characteristic purely wasted.

However, it was usable enough.

Next, Lin Chuan followed suit and Taunted several more times, but he didn't encounter any suitable skills.

Finally, the other students all recalled their Beast Tamers.

They gave up, they simply couldn't fight anymore!
