Chapter 87 Everyone was stunned

Pill Cauldron Peak.

As the wealthiest peak in the Taichu Holy Land, without exception.

The air here was filled with a medicinal fragrance so thick it wouldn't dissipate. It was a unique scent emitted by a mixture of thousand-year-old Lingzhi, ten-thousand-year-old Ginseng, and various Heaven And Earth Treasures; even a single breath was refreshing.

The entire peak was enveloped by a massive Spirit Gathering Array. Spiritual Qi transformed into substantial white mist, swirling among the mountains like a fairyland. On the mountain paths, Alchemy Disciples carrying medicine baskets could be seen everywhere, some holding freshly picked Spiritual Plants, others carrying vessels used for Alchemy.

On the mountainside, Pill Refining Rooms of all sizes were scattered like stars on a chessboard. From time to time, the muffled sound of exploding furnaces and the cursing of Disciples could be heard. Occasionally, the fragrance of a successful Medicinal Pill would waft out, and the surrounding Disciples would cast envious glances.

And in the core area at the summit.

A magnificent "Ten Thousand Cauldron Pavilion," constructed entirely of red copper and jade, shimmered with the light of a nouveau riche under the sun. That light was dazzling and brilliant, almost blinding.

"Tsk tsk tsk, look at their renovation, look at this display."

Su Ye led two masked little bandits, lurking like ghosts on a thousand-year-old ancient pine outside the Ten Thousand Cauldron Pavilion. The ancient pine's branches and leaves were lush, perfectly concealing the three's figures.

"Waner, Light Snow, do you see those pillars?"

Su Ye pointed at the eight Coiling Dragon Pillars in front of the Ten Thousand Cauldron Pavilion, his eyes full of wonder. "They're all carved from Thousand-Year-Old Warm Jade! What a waste! Such a waste! Taking just one of these pillars out could be exchanged for a small Spirit Stone mine!"

Each of those eight Coiling Dragon Pillars was as thick as three people's embrace, warm as jade throughout, with a soft luster under the sun. The coiling dragons carved on the pillars were lifelike, with every scale and whisker clearly visible, obviously the work of a Great Master.

Lin Waner's eyes peered through her black veil, staring fixedly at those pillars, her drool almost flowing out.

"Senior Brother, can we take the pillars away later too?" she asked in a low voice, her eyes full of expectation.

"As long as you can carry them, we'll even pry up the floor tiles for them!"

Su Ye sneered, his gaze locking onto the interior of the Ten Thousand Cauldron Pavilion. With his powerful Divine Sense of the Nascent Soul Seventh Heaven, he had already perceived the situation inside.

The internal space of the Ten Thousand Cauldron Pavilion was enormous, dozens of zhang high, and spacious enough to accommodate over a thousand people. In the center was a massive Alchemy platform, upon which dozens of Pill Cauldrons of various sizes were placed. The smallest was two people tall, and the largest, the three-legged golden crow cauldron, was three stories high, made of pure red gold, its body engraved with complex runes, with waves of heat faintly hitting one's face.

On the walls surrounding the main hall, countless jade shelves were densely arranged. The jade shelves were filled with various Medicinal Pill gourds and jade boxes, categorized and neatly organized according to rank and type. Just by looking at the colors of those gourds—green jade, white jade, black jade, purple jade—one could tell the preciousness of the Medicinal Pills inside.

The floor was paved with top-grade Warm Jade, feeling warm and comfortable to step on. Nine fist-sized night-luminescent pearls were embedded in the dome, illuminating the entire hall as bright as day yet incredibly soft.

In the center of the hall.

The Peak Revered Master of Pill Cauldron Peak, a Void Tempering Third Heaven powerhouse—Peak Master Liu Changqing.

Currently, he was sitting cross-legged in front of that three-legged golden crow cauldron, controlling the Pill Fire with a solemn expression. His hands constantly changed hand seals, sending streaks of spiritual power into the cauldron. The flames inside flickered, clearly indicating he was refining a batch of extremely precious Medicinal Pills.

Beside him lay a huge fire-red crane, listlessly preening its feathers. It was precisely the legendary Fire Cloud Crane that had suffered from diarrhea for three days. It occasionally looked up at Peak Master Liu Changqing with a hint of resentment in its eyes, clearly remembering the painful experience from three years ago.

"The timing is perfect, prepare to act!"

Su Ye made a gesture.

Next second.

Boom!

The profound iron gate of the Ten Thousand Cauldron Pavilion, weighing ten thousand catties, was kicked into pieces by Su Ye!

The massive roar was like a thunderclap on flat ground!

The violent wind swept up pieces of broken iron, smashing directly into the hall! Those iron fragments whistled through, knocking over several jade shelves near the door, and gourds rolled all over the floor!

"Who is it?!"

Peak Master Liu Changqing was so startled his whole body shuddered, and the Pill Fire in his hands instantly went out of control. He snapped his head around, only to see dust filling the doorway, where three figures vaguely stood.

With a muffled "thud"!

Black smoke rose from the three-legged golden crow cauldron, accompanied by a burnt smell. A batch of nearly formed Earth Rank High Grade "Spirit Gathering Pills" was ruined on the spot! Peak Master Liu Changqing's hard work, refining for seven days and seven nights, vanished just like that!

Peak Master Liu Changqing was so angry his eyes nearly split, and veins popped out on his forehead. He stood up abruptly, and the terrifying pressure of the Void Tempering realm erupted like a tsunami! The entire hall trembled under his pressure, and the gourds on the jade shelves buzzed as if they would shatter at any moment!

"In broad daylight, under the bright sky, you dare to forcibly intrude into the important grounds of my Pill Cauldron Peak!"

"Are you tired of living?!"

Along with the roar, he finally saw the three figures at the door clearly.

Three oddballs with black cloth covering their faces, but wearing the Personal Disciple uniforms of Purple Bamboo Peak! That light purple long dress, that familiar style, was the unique symbol of Purple Bamboo Peak!

Especially the leader in the middle; although his face was covered, this punchable aura, this tall and straight figure, this arrogant posture...

"Su Ye?!"

Peak Master Liu Changqing recognized the newcomer at a glance, and his lungs were about to burst from anger. His finger pointing at Su Ye was trembling, his face turning red like pig liver.

"You little bastard! Do you think I won't recognize you just because you're wearing a scrap of cloth?!"

"You destroyed a batch of my Earth Rank Spirit Pills. Today, even if your Revered Master Yun Yuzhen came in person, she wouldn't be able to save you!"

His voice echoed in the hall, making the gourds buzz. The Void Tempering pressure was overwhelming, crushing down toward Su Ye's trio.

Facing the anger of a Void Tempering expert, Su Ye not only showed no fear but instead walked in swaggeringly. His pace was calm and unhurried, each step steady, as if he weren't in enemy territory but strolling in his own backyard.

"Tsk tsk tsk, Peak Revered Master Liu, you have such a temper. Could it be that your kidney water has been insufficient lately, causing your deficiency fire to rise?"

Su Ye flipped his wrist, and a grandmaster's chair appeared out of thin air. This grandmaster's chair was made entirely of red sandalwood, carved with dragons and phoenixes, and covered with soft animal skin, looking very expensive at a glance.

He sat down boldly, crossing his legs. Lin Waner and Lin Qianxue immediately stood behind him like two cold killers, one on each side. Lin Waner was still holding that profound iron gold axe that was taller than she was, gleaming coldly. Lin Qianxue held the sword embryo, a chilling intent in her eyes.

"You... how audacious!"

Peak Master Liu Changqing was so angry his beard shook, and his finger pointing at Su Ye trembled. "Where is the Law Enforcement Hall?! Someone! Arrest these three bandits from Purple Bamboo Peak for me!"

His voice traveled far, but after waiting for a long while, there was no movement outside.

"Stop shouting."

Su Ye picked his ear and flicked away the dust from his fingernail. His movements were leisurely, as if everything was under control.

"Even if you shout until your throat is hoarse, no one is coming to save you today."

He paused, a meaningful smile curling his lips. "As for the Law Enforcement Hall?"

Su Ye's lips curled into a devilish smile as he slowly pulled out that small black booklet from his robe. The booklet's cover was worn, and the corners were frayed, clearly having been flipped through countless times.

"Speaking of which, I happen to have an item left behind by Elder Cang Song of the Law Enforcement Hall that I'd like to share with Peak Revered Master Liu."

Seeing that small black booklet.

Peak Master Liu Changqing's heart suddenly skipped a beat, and an extremely ominous premonition surged within him. His pupils constricted sharply, and most of the color drained from his face instantly.

Is that the account book that old dog Cang Song carried with him?!

Why is it here?!

How did it fall into Su Ye's hands?!
